A once really decent hotel that is being maintained for as little money as possible. It definitely has some features that are nice, like the bed, good water pressure in the shower, free breakfast (which is fine, not great). The rest of the hotel seems to be slowly falling apart, as you can see with things that have been poorly repaired, if repaired at all. If you know this going in, it's totally fine. It's clean and comfortable. The staff is super friendly. The restaurant attached to the hotel is very much a local hangout. Took a while to get service, but when we got it, it was great. Good food and drinks.

The beds were dirty, black mold everywhere, crayon markings on the wall, boogers on the wall, paint peeling off the walls, and the pool was drained and in complete disrepair. The staff at the front were very nice and they deserve recognition. The condition of the hotel itself was very, very poor. My family and I slept for a couple of hours, took showers, and flew out of there to a new hotel.

I’ve stayed here twice , once in 2021 and recently this past weekend in 2022. This hotel needs to be seriously renovated or maybe even torn down and rebuilt. This definitely starts at Management and whomever owns the building, hoping it’s not the same people. The best thing really going for this location is the restaurant attached (if that is actually apart of hotel) and bring off the highway and with that said the restaurant could use a slight makeover and if you just ride a few exits it’s more hotels OFF the highway. Whatever profit is made, it seems as if it’s put right back in management/owners pockets and not to the interior of the hotels because why are the pillows so small? why are there no hangers in the closet? why do the towels feel that way and are so small? why are the tv sizes inconsistent and so small? why is the soap like that? why is there no blanket or fuller duvet on the bed? why do the windows open and open all the way out for that matter? why did the fire alarms go off? why does the elevator look like that? why the carpet look like that? Why the walls look like that? Why does the shower look like that? Why does the bed frame look like that? Is it only 2 luggage carts in the hotel? This location needs to be throughly inspected, there are many violations that this hotel shouldn’t be open.

I have no idea how this hotel has a 4.0 star Google review. It’s pretty bad…like two star at best bad. The rooms are totally run down. The maintenance is horrible. The hall was flooded and stinks to high heaven. I would expect much better from Wyndham. This is Motel 8 quality. See photos of our room for proof.

How is this rated 4.0, makes no sense. This is a 1/2 star, 39.99/night a hotel at best. PICS ARE NOTHING LIKE WHAT YOUR ROOM WILL LOOK LIKE! Do not stay here, you will regret it. If you do, bring a mask, sanitizing wipes, mop, cleaning supplies, gloves, and your own sheets/blankets/pillows. Also be prepared to trash/burn everything you brought with you after you leave.

It was a good place to escape to, but the bathroom wasn't as accessible for me (I had an accessible room). There were only two assistant bars and they were too far apart in an unsafe way. However, I really enjoyed Sophia (the night front desk person). Her beautiful energy made my stay more comfortable and affirming. I enjoyed the amenities in a grand way and the bed kept me captive. It was pretty clean with no signs of pest in the room. There were moments I felt I over cleaned because what I was wiping down was already clean! The hot water didn't last long, but it provided a steam the way I like it. I'd return for the bar, food, Sophia and that comfortable bed that I already miss!

This is a single experience - I stayed before without major issues. Stayed 10/12-10/13. Power goes out sometime during the wee hours of the morning. Still out at checkout time. Apparently a Duke Power outage - ok, fine. But why do some rooms/floors have power and some don’t? My room was without power, but I passed many other rooms that were fine. Elevator was fine. Halls were fine. Asked at the front desk why some parts of hotel had power and some didn’t. Did they not have a backup generator to power the entire hotel? They couldn’t have cared less, shrugging and starting with the oh I don’t know. No one knew anything. Like kitty cats in a box kicking litter around trying to cover something that stinks. No offer to discount or comp or an I’m sorry for the inconvenience - nothing. Poor performance all around on that.

So... I'm a flight attendant and I'm not too particular about hotels, but this was not one of my favorites. It's typical for a Wyndham, so if you like Wyndhams, you will find its in decent shape... Except... The air conditioners really suck. They are loud, which makes it hard for me to sleep because I need dead silence in my room. But when I turned the ac off, I could hear everything that was happening outside as clear as a bell, as if I had left the window open. Seriously. And there was some kind of event going on at the building next door, so it was super loud with the ac and super loud without the ac. And the room would heat up fast. Also, whatever party they were having went on til 3 in the morning, which I will admit is not the hotel's fault. I asked for another room and the guy at the desk made it sound like he had another room, but he wasn't willing to give it to me... Which at 3 in the morning is pretty much going to agitate anyone. Finally, I don't think they have an airport shuttle because another hotel shuttle came to get us and they were late, which made us even more prejudice against the hotel because we didn't have much time to sleep and we were waiting outside in the heat for them. So don't expect a hotel shuttle for this hotel. All in all, for a Wyndham, it's nice... Except the ac. You may NOT want to book on a weekend because of whatever the lot is next door (I think it was a church... And a church party...as weird as that sounds). I felt like the guy at the desk was more frazzled than frustrated, so I know he wasn't a bad guy, but when it's the three in the morning and your tired, I think we kind of hate everyone. It's likely my perception was skewed. From the short time I was there, it seemed like a nicer Wyndham, but it was definitely not a good night for me. If you go, take earplugs just in case. And if the hotel is reading this, I would recommend you at least keep earplugs on hand, even if you just sell them. I did ask for them and was told the hotel doesn't sell them. They are cheap... Stock up. That's my best advice.

So, we stayed here one night while in town. The rooms are nice and clean, but the rest of the hotel needs a bit of a face lift, especially behind the hotel. My only real complaint is about the breakfast buffet. Now, it's no different than any other hotel breakfast, reconstituted eggs (why can't hotels crack an actual egg anymore?), biscuits and gravy, etc. But the tickets that they give you say, "gratuity not included". There was a sign near the plates and a glass bowl that said "don't forget to tip". I served myself breakfast and I bussed my own table. I got my own water refills and literally no one even came out to say "good morning". What would I be tipping for? Why are they trying to insist that people tip? No one did anything for me except put the food out there and this is part of a service that the hotel is offering. What is the tip for? Why doesn't the hotel just pay it's staff a fair wage instead of asking guests to do it for them? I won't be back.

The hotel needs upgrades in the rooms. They had ample staff. Good location near highways. Pool was closed for repairs. They had the terrace restaurant for breakfast and Cooper Ale House for lunch, dinner and drinks.

When you walk in the lobby, it's quite fancy. Go past the lobby, and it's a whole different hotel. This place was definitely not worth the $286.45 I paid for one night. Yes, one night. It seems like the place just needs to be updated. Wallpaper is torn and peeling. TV was quite small. Overall, the room was pretty clean, but the shower head and drain looked gross, so we didn't shower. I also had to block the main door with a towel. The gap underneath was so large that it flooded the room with light at night. That made it hard to sleep for me personally. The staff at the front desk were very pleasant. Strangely, we stepped out to grab breakfast at 9am and a housekeeper was coming in to discharge our room. She was told it was already vacant!? Check out is at 11am. Breakfast was OK. There are lots of options to choose from. I just don't feel the ambience matches the price.

Honestly, the only complaint I have is the water pressure and temperature of it was terrible. Everything else was very up to par. Breakfast was outstanding, service was great, the room was very comfortable. I would recommend staying here.

My husband and son came here and I was told it was a decent area and good hotel to stay in. The pool is a mess. The room had no actual pillows, just a bunch of tiny couch pillows. Really disappointed especially since we wasted over $100 for this one night! They also charged my credit card for the stay which was supposed to only be used to hold a room.

This isn’t a 3 star hotel, was a nice hotel once but now run down, mattresses hard as a rock, pick another hotel. Order something for room service, you can’t even charge it to your room, what kind of room service is that!! Had better experience at lower end brands. Stay at a Super 8 or Motel 6 it has to be better than this so called 3 star. Just stay at a 2 star lower end Marriott, you’ll thank me.

My husband and I recently stayed here to visit with family. Our stay was below standard for this brand and location. Fist the lady that checked us in was rude. There was no greeting just “give me your ID and Credit card and go sit down. ” That was all she said. For context there was no one else checking in at the time. The room was clean and I constantly see the staff cleaning so I would give housekeeping 5 stars. The overall appearance of the hotel is not as nice as the photos. The doors on the Dresser were broken. When I took a shower the tub did not drain and the toilet was slow to flush. We called the front desk 2 times to get a new room. They ignored the request for a new room and sent maintenance up to snake the drain. Snaking the drain worked for 2 shower then the issue began again. By this time we only had one day left so I did not even bother to try and get help from the rude front desk girl. Overall the front desk is not helpful, rooms are dated, drains did not work. Housekeeping seems to work hard.

If I could leave a zero I would. This should be a Motel 6 not a Wyndham Garden. Do not be fooled by the internet pictures of the lobby. The carpets were buckling, baseboards peeling in the common areas. The restaurant and hotel had inadequate air conditioning. We tried to eat at the attached restaurant but had to leave because it was so hot inside we felt physically ill. The room had air conditioning thank goodness, but room smelled musty. The back of the bathroom door was actually peeling off. The shower rod and fixtures were rusting. The baseboard in the bathroom had some type of orange residue on them—not sure what that was. The pool was a giant mud pit and closed for renovations. No extra blanket or pillow in the room. The worst of it was there was NO HOT WATER. we asked other guests staying if they had hot water and they said no. We told the front desk and they just told us the repair man had already come out that morning to fix it. Well it still was not working, no attempts to make it right. The only good thing about this hotel is that the bed was comfortable. Very disappointed and couldn’t wait to get home.

Nice hotel that looks like they are trying to keep it maintained as it ages. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable but starting to show signs of poor maintenance. Wonderful water pressure. I stayed a week but never tried the breakfast. I did have dinner in the restaurant and was pleased with my meal. Only real complaints I have is the management needs to do a little better job keeping guests from partying in the halls and outside. The swimming pool was being removed with jackhammers while I was there but they didn't work late enough to be really annoying and the work had to be done so I can't hold that against the hotel. They gave me an incredible rate for the week so I was happy. Definitely would recommend and stay here again.

Clean comfortable rooms, great staff, breakfast, pool, fitness room and what a grand entrance they have! There is a restaurant attached to the hotel that seems to do quite well. I did not eat there though

I live in Greensboro but needed to have a “me” night.. I really didn’t know what to expect, I was just booking. When I arrived I was so happy to see Coopers was connected. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The price of the room was great. It was very clean and the Christmas decorations are really nice. I will definitely be back. There was a few people at check out.. so I left my room keys and called from the car. The receptionist that answered was very nice and checked me out.

The rooms were nice and the terrace had a nice feel. AC in the room was strong! Front entrance was well lit and the snack shop came in clutch. We would book here again. The hotel needs some cosmetic updates but other than that it was nice all round

Room would never cool off and the frig would not get cold. Beds were comfy but there is a club beside the hotel and you hear their loud music. Breakfast was very good.

It was a great stay, the shower was clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was nice. The included breakfast was also great, there was a pretty good selection which you rarely find in hotel breakfast.

I still give it five stars, because it was a nice room. When checking in early in the am staff was very nice. I asked for a late check out and staff approved it. I asked him could he document it because I know some staff are on autopilot and won’t check. Just like I knew someone would do. Come and knock on the door without checking first. Overall nice hotel and location.

We were in town for the basketball game(3day weekend)The hotel location was great. However, the rooms looked Nothing like the pictures. The shower water didn't get hot. At best, I was able to take a 2 minute warm shower, before the water went cold. Housekeeping needs improvement. I called for new towels and wash cloths at 8 am. Saturday morning and didn't get any until 4pm. That day and that's because I had to get them myself. Our view was over the pool, sounds cute right.... Wrong, the pool looked disgusting, the water was brown, trash and debris were all around. Needless to say keep the curtains closed.

Was pretty good for the price. Looked well-maintained and clean. I didn't have breakfast, but my husband said it was good. We're doing a cross-country move with 2 cats, so our hotel options are pretty limited, but this one was definitely better and cheaper than others we've been to on this trip.
