Some other reviews talk about this location being dated. I couldn't agree more. I often read these reviews and think "dated" means it's not brand new. This location is dated "dated". The pool isn't heated as advertised. They charged for parking. They advertise their happy hour social but I didn't attend because the line was wrapped around the atrium. There is a breakfast provided, of which we may have collectively eaten 8 bites of. All you could take in the gravy was garlic and the powdered eggs has transformed into bits of yellow rubber. I wouldn't say don't book this location. There are most definitely worse options for lodging. But, I would advise that you manage your expectations before booking here. The staff is awesome!

UPDATE: Came in to our room this evening to one of the best cleanings we've had from a hotel. Everything was organized perfectly and super clean. Manager replied to my original review with a great attitude. +2 stars! Legitimately one of the jankiest places we've ever stayed at. What you get for $215/night (a *premium* suite!): - wallpaper peeling off the walls - carpet pulling up from the floor - couches that look like they came from the goodwill - bathtub that doesn't drain - shower that barely works at all - room service *by request only* 😂 - blank walls where paintings used to be? This place looked like it hadn't been updated for a decade.

The lobby was clean. The room was very questionable. The carpet had stains. The front desk staff was nice. However....spend your money elsewhere. The photos online are imposter compared to the actual rooms. We had to pack up and move to the property next door. The filth was awful. I used my cleaning products all to realize this was well beyond a standard hotel wipe down. The customer service to resolve was amazing. Although very inconvenient to take our bags and the children to another hotel, Michael made it happen. He called the Hilton property next door to get us a room. I went back the next day to discuss my room and service. Sandra and Derrick were amazing as well. They listened and apologized. They made every attempt to ensure that I was satisficed overall as a customer. Thank you Michael, Sandra and Derrick for softening the blow of the horrible rooms.

Sorry I didn't have photos for this one but this is my old hotel that I used to work at years ago. And I must say the hotel still has great service a great atmosphere and it's in a really good location. The rooms have been upgraded just a little bit has a different bathroom setting I did have a good night's sleep. The internet connection was also really good. You can't go wrong here I will say it is a very active hotel so watch where they put your room at I was right there by the atrium and heard a wedding going on and could not sleep. But other than that the service was really good

This Hotel really needs to be renovated, but that not the problem of the people that work there. They have 2 Elevators and 1 stopped working, so it did get a little lengthy, especially with a sold out weekend. I have been coming to this hotel regularly throughout the years and I can say that the staff bends over backwards. Susanne (Events) is amazing and always walking around asking if we need anything and awesome at her job, not easy pleasing some VFW members and Auxiliary, but she does it hands down. The Banquet Manager is so friendly and professional, you can always see him making this happen. I also want to acknowledge Will, who a jack of all trades in the hotel, from manning the little store, to cleaning up around the hotel, he even put a sign out that anyone needs help with their luggage, please contact him. I know it's always easy to write a bad review, but this isn't one of those times. Its always nice to see the same staff each and every time and always smiling.

Room was non-smoking, but you could smell someone had smoked. House keeping did a good job of cleaning but you could tell. Evening reception was nice, they should use two bartenders during peak hours. The location is great and with the exception of those few issues I always enjoy myself when I stay there. The chefs are great and I recommend ordering from the restaurant at least once during your stay.

The hotel decor is dated but our room was clean. We had one minor hiccup that was taken care of immediately. The manager's reception was nice but crowded which is a good sign. Breakfast was good as usual. The staff was more than helpful. We were hesitant about staying here after reading some of the reviews but this Embassy rocks and if we are ever in the area again we definitely stay here!!

My family and I stayed here for a week. The staff was great, if we needed anything like toilet paper or more hand soap, they were quickly at our door! The stay was good! The only complaint I have is that the air conditioning in the room was not good. It was warm and humid. We did call down for maintenance to see it they could fix the problem but they said it was all good. There was barely any circulation of air in the bedroom so it was a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, we loved the omelets too. If this hotel did a renovation to update the rooms and get rid of the yellow wallpaper/carpets it would be amazing.

Attended the 10th Anniversary of Sister 2 Sister NCGOGOP conference. My group and I didn't stay but attending the event was spectacular. Every room was comfortable. We had a celebration on Friday after our evening service. Again no pictures sorry, but it was very good. Swedish meatballs, various fruit, bbq sliders, egg rolls and fried chicken strips. Added update: There were over 350 ladies in attendance. So you know what that meant. Extra bathroom space was needed. The need was meet with taking the adjacent men's bathroom over. Thank you for that Embassy..looking forward to next year's return. Already registered 👍.

I was just here for a few days for a company convention. All in all the hotel itself was pretty good. Staff was very friendly, hotel was clean, free breakfast was superb!!! The only drawback is the rooms are a bit dated for the price they want per night. Luckily it was charged to the company card so I didn’t have to pay for it out of pocket.

Was in town on business recently and my coworkers and I stayed here for one night. We all agreed the rooms were clean, just an all around positive experience. No complaints. Thanks.

The entire hotel is in major need of a renovation. The bartender at happy hour was such a sweet man, we enjoyed that. The pool is great if you like cold plunging. Breakfast isn’t what it used to be at embassy’s. Highway is loud & you can hear people sneezing through the paper thin walls.

The hotel needs some soft upgrades like new carpet. Other than that, my room was very nice and clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

Had a blast. They need bigger luggage racks. And a warmer pool.. the complimentary drinks and snacks were awesome and the breakfast was off the chain. I will come again... ;+)

The breakfast and the staff at that area is wonderful. Carpet in rooms and all other places horrible. The carpet in breakfast area was so sticky it stuck to shoes. The outside carpet to rooms is really dangerous to walk on because it is bunched up and split. Stayed 4 days and no one cleaned our room or brought towels, etc. Had to take full plastic bags out of the 3 trash cans, take all dirty towels and put in hallway in order for maid not assigned to our room to give me clean towels and new bags. Had to take toilet paper holder outside room so she could give me more toilet paper. Really needs updating and obviously more cleaning staff. Forget the Covid rules, clean the place up.

I stayed for a week and couldn't have had a better experience. The staff was incredible. Very courteous and friendly. I was worried at first because the location was by a busy highway, but it truly wasn't an issue. After the first day, I didn't even think about it. I would definitely stay here again on future trips.

Water pressure was low. Temperature in the bedroom was warmer than the front room. Great breakfast buffet and grill staff! Courteous front desk attendants. Located near the interstate. Overall it was a good stay for my work trip.

I was here for an event so I can't speak to the rooms. However, the staff are wonderful! The event staff catered to whatever we needed. Food was delicious. Bartender, Jessica, was great! Her drinks were delicious.

Stunningly BAD! 35 of us left for a day at the race at 9;30 am in a bus. The hotel had hosted a gigantic wedding party 10/28/23 the night before the race. Of course, on race day 10/29/23 we did not get back from the race until almost 9 pm which is ordinary for a race day, as the hotel knew from experience There was another gigantic wedding celebration on this day too, which would be fine, BUT, the staff who had happily booked these celebrations and our group and who knows how many other groups FAILED to serve ANYONE. BUT. the wedding party. They closed the restaurant. They closed room service. NOTHING for the weary travelers they happily booked before cutting them off at the knees KNOWING that they would be returning that night expecting food service. NOTHING for the weary travelers who relied upon the restaurant advertising in the elevator they used every time they went to or from their room. That the product of the very best thinking this staff was able to bring to the table was to shut down advertised services to the rest of the guests without warning when those guests paid for and relied upon those prominently advertised services is despicably shabby treatment. So shabby in fact as to call into question the competency and motivations of the corporate stooges who hired these people and "trained" them. This demand was not foreseeable when these bookings were all accepted? Baloney.

The room was ok, linens and bathroom were clean. But the carpet and couch were stained and worn out. Bar and food service were slow. The front desk couldn’t answer some simple questions for us (ex does the pay laundry take coins or cards?). The pool and pool room were freezing - why have an indoor pool if it is not going to be maintained? And had no spa/hot tub. Good enough for a one night stop on a road trip but very lacking compared to other Embassy Suits we have stayed at.

Absolutely the best service I have had at a hotel, from the management, desk staff, and specifically the breakfast attendants. (There was one server at dinner who didn't really meet expectations, but everything else was so top notch, I didn't reduce my rating.) Room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast/buffet was superb. Getting there was probably the only inconvenient thing about it. I love this hotel!

I requested my room, be refreshed when I left hotel at 730 am for the day. Upon my return at 4:30 nothing had been completed. I went to dinner came back at 8 pm and nothing. The front desk said they had requested housekeeping come to my room multiple times. I finally gave up waiting and just asked for clean towels from the front desk. Rooms are dated and rundown. Lots of stains on carpeting and furniture. Front desk, staff, breakfast and reception staff were all kind and courteous. ***update*** I discovered I left a personal item in my room. I know for a fact I did and where I left it exactly in the room. The hotel and head of housekeeping have comminictaed poorly regarding this situation. Horrible service and no effort being made to return my item that contained medication. Stay anywhere but here!

As long as you get all the correct staff the hotel is amazing. The event space perfectly met our needs and I really enjoyed the recreation areas, and the evening reception.

Just wanted to share my experience from yesterday. I’m traveling with elderly family members. They weren’t able to come down for breakfast. I was going to bring it back to them once I finished my breakfast. I ask the lady at the omelette station if I could get two omelettes with me as I have two family members that cannot make it down and I need to bring it back to them. She tells me no you can only have one per person . I can explain to her the situation. Well I tell you what she got. The biggest attitude was so incredibly rude unprofessional. She tells me what you want and it’s just huffing and puffing the entire time. And then she just slams the plates on the counter and just walk away and just so annoyed that I had the audacity to ask for two omelettes for my elderly family members. I stayed at this location before and this experience has made me feeling really sad and upset

Nice place. Rooms are good. Has a gym and a pool which are in good shape. The giant atrium style of the hotel is a cool perk. Breakfast is very good. Reception is chill. Would like to see a bit more seating in the atrium area to lounge in the evening time. Maybe set it up like a brewery or lounge place where you can have your drinks and lounge on nice chairs in the atrium near the water. Only downside I found is the pillows are a bit thin. I wish they were a bit thicker like some competitors I have visited. I asked for foam thinking it would be thicker but it wasn’t.

My partner and I had the good fortune To be guests at the Embassy Suits May 25-27. I cannot express enough what a pleasant experience we had. Rooms were clean breakfast was great but it was your employees that make this place a 10 plus!! Professional , smiling , helpful great eye contact.

There was blood on my sheet. It was late so I slept on another layer of covers above it. The arrangement of the rooms is good, but the decor is dark and dated. The dining area, especially the waterfall and water features, is very nice.

This was one of the worst Hilton experiences I have had. The staff was less than accommodating. I asked for bath towels and they were never received, the woman at check in was very rude, getting snarky with me when she couldn’t understand a basic question about early check in. The rooms were so out of date and we found a cockroach on our last day. The breakfast buffet wasn’t bad, the drinks and the woman at the managers reception were good the one night they actually had it. The beds were comfortable to me, my fiancé didn’t like them so to each their own on that. The pool was freezing, the room as well. The bathrooms in the pool area were flooded with the soap pumped all over the floor and I watched two other women notify staff for nothing to be done.

The Embassy Suites staff is welcoming and willing to serve at an exceptionally high level. The staff is professional and friendly. Roo.s were clean and well setup, the suite design was welcoming and provided a nice separation for business attendees. Conference room space was well lit, suitably enhanced by high quality AV equipment. The complimentary breakfast is high quality and a great way to start the day. I would recommend others for business or pleasure to consider staying here

We have stayed at this hotel many times since 2007. We have always had a good experience until this time. Our bathroom was so moldy I went out and bought Clorox Cleanup and sprayed the whole tub grout. That made a huge improvement. This is still a great facility, but needs a big makeover. Everything in our room was dark and dated. Please DO A RENNOVATION on this potentially super hotel! We are currently in the Savannah Airport Embassy and it is a 180° improvement!

The Breakfast crew is outstanding !! Especially Veronica who always greets you with a smile 😊 and delivers one heck of a customized omelette or whatever you might order. Her professionalism and attention to details is by far one of the best that I have experienced in my stays at Hilton properties. Definitely 💯% customer focused !

Nicely maintained even though they are due for a remodel. Nicest hotel stay I've had in awhile and I travel every week. Thanks for friendly, great service. I requested a feather free room and this was done. It is a simple request but follow through is key and it means alot. It was quiet and that is my other favorite thing about my stay.

I had the great opportunity to attend THE CarTESOL Conference earlier this month. My room was very spacious, well lighted. Internet access was a plus to continue working well into the night. I thank the hotel and organizers for the complementary light meals and cocktails. I really enjoyed the breakfast and light lunch. A memorable stay, indeed.

Updated review, rating of Zero "0" stars for this recent horrible stay. Beware, the review totally cancels my last review (I deleted) during Dec. 2021 stay. Ignore my previously wonderful review. The 1st issue was walking my 80 year old mother all over the place trying to find our room, finally locating the room without a door number-got it! The 2nd issue was in the room involving a comforter that was blood-stained and had black marks. I called the front desk requesting clean linen and was not expecting to get into a word-tussle with Bethany on whether the stains could possibly be dried-up wine (comforter was site-unseen at this point). Along with the dirty comforter (check your linen before you get in bed) also involved a dirty tub that I showed Bethany; however, I was told it was the cleanest it could be. Another room issue was not discovered until checking out. When packing my white house shoes that I wore during my 2-day stay, they were totally filthy so this means the carpet was not clean (hint, the carpet color can mask being able to determine the cleanliness of the carpet). My 3rd and final issue involved the breakfast. My mom and I did not expect at the very beginning of breakfast to start with uncooked bacon and sausage, as well as warm milk (highly recommend putting the milk into the ice instead of stacked on top of each other in a bowl that is barely sitting on top of the ice). The remaining food that was supposed to be hot was lukewarm to cold. These complaints are to warn others since someone could become seriously ill and this should be taken seriously.

Did a work venture here and it was perfect. The staff was amazing from the front door throughout the building. I heard the rooms were great to from the guest but I personally did not stay overnight. The breakfast is one of the best I ever had. I would stay just for the breakfast.

I didn't stay here just had to deliver a food order. But this place is beautiful. There's a lovely fountain in the lobby and the rooms are all centered around that. The elevator is glass on one side and faces that fountain. The guests all seemed to be enjoying their stay.

In the Gsb and Winston-Salem area for a concert and visit my daughter in college. The Hotel is in a great location right off the highway to get to both locations easily. Rooms were spacious and beds really comfortable. The lobby area was lovely with the fountains. Loved the made to order omelets and other hot breakfast items. Really nice stay.
