Easily the cleanest, nicest looking, most modern up kept Golden Corral I've ever been to. Every single item on the buffet was PERFECT which has never happened. I tried one piece of at last 90% of the offerings as a test. Perfect pulled pork, tender waffles with a crisp outer hull, fried gizzards that weren't rubber, both baked and fried fish was tender and tasty, everything! The service was amazing too, I never had to wait for refills and used plates/gloves/napkins were quickly removed from the table each time our server passed. Im just really impressed as this was the best GC experience I've ever had, and I've been to them all across the nation!

This Golden Corral is the best Golden Corral I have ever been to. It’s clean and organized. The staffs are nice always checking on you to see if you need anything. The food are understatement. I haven’t have a crunch outside and light and soft inside waffles for a long time. Not even ihop or other breakfast dinner have that. This Golden Corral has it. You got to go try.

My husband and I had an early dinner at the 4404 Landview Drive, Greensboro, NC, location on Friday, September 22, 2023, around 3:30pm. We were quite surprised to see how the interior had changed and had been remodeled. In the past, customers prepared their own drinks before placing their orders with the cashier. Now, once you seat yourself, your server will bring your drinks to your table. The gentleman at the register was very jovial and friendly. Another change from the past is that the cashier now gives customers their silverware which are in individual paper sleeves. This differs from how things were in the past because all the silverware used to be in plastic cylindrical baskets in which the customers picked through to get their own silverware. Another noteworthy difference is that now customers are given a plastic disposable glove to use when they are using the serving utensils to place food onto their plates. One improvement that could be made is that the salad dressing spoon handled need to be better labeled. After I prepared my salad, I looked for Ranch dressing, yet the print on all but one spoon handle was worn off. The only spoon handle that was clearly labeled was the bleu cheese spoon. Perhaps it’s not as popular as the other dressings, therefore the printing on the handle hasn’t worn off yet. I chose a dressing that I thought looked like Ranch dressing, however, upon eating the salad, I realized it wasn’t Ranch, but a sweeter dressing instead. Perhaps this was a fat-free Ranch dressing, but without being able to identify each individual dressing, it was difficult to know which dressing to choose. Our server was Desiree. She was very helpful and friendly and filled our drinks when needed. She also made sure our table was clean and wiped down as we sat down at our table. Our food was good and well-prepared. We look forward to future meals at this particular location.

I came here at 8:05am on a Monday to get breakfast with a friend. I’ve been living in Greensboro since 2015 and this was my first time going to this Golden Corral, which is crazy, now that I think about it. The interior is beautiful. The restaurant itself was clean. It wasn’t busy at all. I noticed maybe 2-3 tables with customers in it. It was a little over $20 for the both of us. We sat where were wanted to. Our waitress was “Sunshine”. She was friendly. With it being buffet, their safety precautions include giving you a glove and a new plate each time you visit, which is pretty cool. There is a person by the plates waiting. There was one buffet area that was empty but the rest was filled. Most of the items seemed fresh. The pancakes were a little over cooked, but good. The bacon was PERFECT, omg. They put out new eggs as I was about to get what was there, which was nice. The cinnamon rolls were tasty. I wasn’t a fan of their biscuits. Overall, it was a good breakfast. I would return. They do have the nutritional facts listed on the glass over the food, but that doesn’t really help where there’s nothing to measure or portion it, lol. However, it’s nice to know if someone wanted to guess.

Attended for a birthday 🎂 brunch for my friend. Medical challenges do not allow me to get out much. Had a pleasant and enjoyable time. Service was accommodating due to guest size and servers were great!

Food is normally great. We love the steak and fried fish. We don't like the fact they don't allow our 12 year old fix her own plate without us. The gloves thing is a bit obsessive too. Most don't wear them anyways and to have to wear them for multiple trips getting a new one each time is a bit wasteful. We go in with 4 of us minimum that have to wear gloves. We each take about 3 trips (salad, hot food, dessert) that's 12 gloves just from our table at minimum. Service is usually good

Today was one of our worst GC experiences thus far. The food bars were almost empty, and the grill was extremely slow (stakes were never ready as well as the grilled chicken. For what we paid for a family of five, this was unacceptable. Seems as though the staff can’t upkeep the pace of diners even though it was slow. SMH

It took me a minute or two getting use to the food layout at this Golden Corral location. But I must admit, they got it right. The food stations are well monitored and constantly replenished. To add to the dining experience they have revamped the seating to accommodate more guests. Sometimes changes are a very good thing!!! This is one of those times.

The music was way to loud & there isn't enough items to absorb the sound. Due to the music people were having to talk louder. The waitress was more concerned with cleaning the trash off our table, while we were still eating than she was about our drinks or empty dirty tables. Prices are high enough right now due to things out of our control without you throwing money away. There isn't a single business that knows how many people came through their doors sick before the word pandemic was used some were contagious & it never bothered anyone. There is no reason to use gloves at the buffet & definitely no reason to get a new one everytime you get a plate. The paper the silverware is in another waste of money. We all know that everything has to be washed in hot water, as always, which means they're disinfected. Wrap them in a napkin that you use to do. There are ways to cut cost which will in turn keep our cost down. I know the price of food has risen which means buffet prices will go up but the price of the meal was to high for the quality of food we got. It definitely wasn't like it use to be.

Great for starving college students. We brought our daughter and a few of her roommates. They loved the food options and ate till they couldn't. Food selection was good and tasty. I appreciated they were handing out plastic gloves with the plates. The desserts station options were not as appealing, most of the options looked dry. The wait staff was very friendly.

This has to be one of the best Golden Corrals I have yet been to. Everything is done perfect and is delicious. Really like how this one is set up, it's different than any of the others I've went to. Even tho we was there at a busy time the waitress did excellent, kept our drinks filled and table clean from our dirty plates. This one we will be visiting more often🥰

This is one of my favorite places. I enjoy meeting my dispersed and busy family at the Golden Carrol on Wendover Avenue a few times a year. I like the early morning traffic less experience with fresh food and friendly service. Everyone enjoys the moments. Looking forward to the next gathering.

This Golden Corral Buffet, Greensboro NC is without a doubt the model of how all of these restaurants should be. Their chefs put out just outstanding food and always consistent in taste and presentation. This location was rebuilt about 6 years ago and is well maintained and staff are always pleasant and efficient. We relocated out of Greensboro NC about 4 years ago; whenever back in Greensboro area, always stop and never disappointed . All store owners and managers should make a point to see how this location operates and food tastes. Cannot say all Golden Corral restaurants are created equal, we always try them but disappointed on a consistent basis, not the case in Greensboro.

Senior citizens get a dollar off, this is a well kept Golden Corral. Most everything you put on your plate at lunch (when I usually go) is first class. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fried chicken, always just wonderful. And such good mashed potatoes, taste so real like your grandmother was doing the cooking back there somewhere. I hardly ever eat desserts, but the carrot cake is my FAVORITE. This is a fine example of what a Golden Corral should be.

We visited this Golden Corral location when my kids could not make up their mind of what they want to eat. It is located in the Wendover area which is one of the busiest places on a Saturday evening. So traffic is pretty busy. Golden Corral at Wendover was a clean place. It looked like it was renovated recently because all the interior decor looked fairly new. It has plenty of seating and we found ourselves a table pretty quick. This location was maintained well. Being a buffet place one will find a few dirty tables here and there but they were all in the process of being cleaned. The staff was good and welcoming. The food was good however compared with my previous experience.....there were less choices. Now I'm comparing it to when I last went 10-12 years ago.....ha ha ha ha. I remember very well that there were rows and rows of food. But given the cost and the way the economy is now....the food choices were good. Being at a location right beside Walmart and Sams....this place got quite a lot of foot traffic. There is plenty of parking however I found the parking spots smaller than average. It sure did fit my truck but it was a little tight with the other cars beside it. Would recommend to go there during weekdays rather than weekends.

I hadn't visited this restaurant in years. It has been remodeled since my last visit and I was pleased with the lay out. The bars were well maintained, clean and the food looked appealing. The server was attentive without being too hovering. They kept the drinks filled. The dining room was clean of dishes but we had to look for a table that didn't need to be wiped off. It looked like a rush had recently ended. We didn't have to look for long.

If you are a fan of fast foods and steaks, you should go to this buffet, with a fair price you can enjoy your fresh foods.

First time I ever ordered for delivery but was excited I could because I'm stuck at work. Needless to say I'm VERY disappointed. I didn't get my drink, the meatloaf was dry, cold, and not fully cooked, my mashed potatoes would have been better warm but again it was cold as well, my salad had almost a half a cup of water in it that I had to strain out getting the cheese soggy and gross. The lettuce looked like it was stepped on and browned so it got tossed after two bites all in all it definitely wasn't worth the $25 it cost me to get it. On the plus side my door dash driver was amazing!!!!

Always a great place for me and my big sister to meet and chit chat. Initially, when this location opened I got food poisoning. I didn't go for years show to that, but it has since regained my trust. Great servers and customer service is extremely overall. I really enjoy the omelette bar but customers should really tip the guy. I can get breakfast and lunch for a decent price

Neat, clean, very good experience. The chicken was good with a beautiful crunch and I had a very flavorful steak. The precision to make sure that people are taken care of is immaculate. The only downsides were that there was no sweet potato casserole and the Spanish rice I had was not cooked right and had a bad taste. Outside of that, it was good to have them again.

I appreciate the precautions taken to keep things sanitary, but some people were letting their nasty little kids play all around the food. No one was there to help keep them out of the food. I was fortunate not to have to get anything from anywhere they were. The lady handing out gloves was so friendly. Some people just didn't know or care that they needed to use the gloved hand to pick up the serving utensils. This is why I don't eat at self-serve buffets. The food was OK, but I was hungry so 🐀 rear would've tasted good to me. The temperature was very good, though. I didn't stay long and I don't think I'll be going back, either. Maybe they can do a better job in the future.

They've updated the whole restaurant and it's very modernized. The last time I was here was pre covid and I liked that they've implemented glove stations for guest to put on while getting food. The only complaint I do have is how they've got the buffet islands set up. It felt a bit crowded and I liked the old set up since it felt more roomy. The older set up gave me an idea where to start lining up to get food. The new setup, everyone is bumping each other all over the place when the place gets busy. Staff is very friendly and engaging in trying to help serve you.

Cleanliness was NOT the first thing I saw. Ladies at the register seemed slightly annoyed and when I saw one in the back with BOY customers she was definitely NOT happy when I needed her assistance with the salt shakers that were moist and not releasing the salt. But the gentleman serving drinks and cleaning tables was a delight he was pleasant and smiled when I asked if worked there - give him a raise - from Msconcerned from Connecticut

Nathan, Our Waiter, Was Awesome. We Had A Large Party (19 in total) and Was On Top Of Everything!! Our Drinks Were Right And He Was Cleaning Off Our Table Every Couple Minutes!!! I'd Like To Sit In His Section When We Go Again. The Food Was Hot And Delicious Too. The Bar Was Well Stocked And The Food Looked Really Good. It Was Kept Nice And Clean As Well. The Steaks Were Delicious As They Are My Favorite. Will Definitely Head Back There Soon.
