We returned yesterday and sadly we were disappointed with the stay. The hotel was gorgeous and there were definitely staff that were so good and helpful like Anna and Amen and Rosanna . But we found that a lot of the staff dampened the mood. The staff at the outdoor bar were so so rude and unpleasant . They would stand with masks off or on their chins but when we just walked up going past to get a water we were “barked at” that we need masks to be served . This is outdoor bar with just roof, not enclosed indoor . My partner was given the hand when he was ignored at the bar for a long time and said “excuse me” to get attention. He said they appeared to address him with aggression and anger . I have to agree when it came to all the bar staff during days. The all inclusive wasn’t really that inclusive . You would have to pay service if you wanted drinks by pool, you couldn’t get ice cream by pool. And once we walked to the ice cream hut we were told that included is only soft vanilla ice cream. That is so outrageous that no other flavours are included in this luxury Red Level all inclusive package . I spoke to concierge who said she’s spoken to the staff and we can have all flavours. But nope, we went to get ice cream , the man was cross and asked many times what room we were in and all we got then was one ball of ice cream in a pot and he walked off . And the ice cream is available only in that one spot at the hotel and is closest to the adult areas which I find is ridiculous. If you were at the kids pirate pool, you’d need to walk through hotel, past family pool, down steps, past gym etc and past oasis restaurant . At the hotel bar by the beach you have to pay for everything , all drinks . The Water in pools was too cold , especially for kids. We were sold that we will have all this red level access and guess what , no, red level pool is adults only , the private pool shared between few rooms also didn’t exist . When I complained One concierge told me that someone can speak to us and cancel all our services if we aren’t happy and I should have booked our restaurants prior to arrival and turned around her screen to show me emails between us - because the restaurants didn’t have availability. I said that family pool was too cold, it appeared not to be heated at all that day and she said - no, it’s at 26C. I said it certainly wasn’t. She wouldn’t agree. She also said we can use the red level pool if we leave our daughter at the day care or take turns looking after her. Wow. I explained that we didn’t go on family holiday to leave our child in a windowless room with strangers . Room was disappointing, empty and cold, not very clean . Cleaning cloths left twice , water leaking from shower door not closing. The lock on patio door fell apart, cups in the room were rinsed in the sink by the cleaners, leaving them stained . We had a mattress topper left in the room - stained one, mattress had a stain. The toilet was smelly all the time. Coffee, milk was not topped up during stay. Apparently charges would have applied anyway. After one of the dinners we were given a bill and turns out it’s not included and only 30% discount given. Concierge removed the charge next day but it was still on the bill when we left. Spa treatments were amazing . But sadly we weren’t allowed to use the indoor pool with our two year old . Again one of the things that were sold to us but we weren’t able to use . There were so many things that weren’t right, but I won’t have enough space here . When we checked out we weren’t even asked if we enjoyed the stay or how it was .

We would not go back. In short the hotel is also used for large business events which totally ruined the holiday atmosphere. If I wanted to be surrounded by business people everyday with their lap tops I would have stayed at home and gone to work. All inclusive is not all inclusive, the ice cream bar only allows you to have Vanilla flavour and all other flavours are chargeable. Alcohol in mini bar was not included and was extortionately priced. 3 of the 7 restaurants are not included in all inclusive and are chargeable whilst 2 do not allow children. Bali beds are charged at 80 euros per day. Some cocktails are included but many are also chargeable. Staff were arrogate and rude and were clearly under resourced. This especially coursed an issue of an evening as you are not allowed to go to the bar for drinks and instead have to sit down at a table and wait for someone to take your order which on one occasion took nearly half an hour. There are area's of the hotel and pool areas you cannot access unless you upgrade to the red level. The pool bar rain out of snacks every day at 11am and was not replenished meaning we had to go shopping. There was a lack of umbrellas compared to sunbeds meaning you had to get up early to secure a bed with shade. It was actually our wedding anniversary when we were there and I asked if there was anything the hotel could do to make our day special and was simply given a price list for extras I.e champagne, flowers etc. On our final day we were not allowed to retain our room or have another room as we were told the hotel was full which was clearly not the case. I could go on l, but all in all this was a holiday we would like to put behind us and would certainly NEVER return.

Amazing place!!! The hotel itself is like from a great movie or a dream, the staff super super friendly, restaurants and bars are great. Beautiful garden, best location. Only the rooms need to be renovated, the furniture need to be replaced and the cleaning could be improved, especially in a hotel like this and when choosing a more expensive room (in our case “Deluxe Sea View”). The rooms in the middle part (like ours) are noisy due to the shows in the evening/night and gymnastics/Yoga in the mornings. Next time we would choose a room with garden view or in the Red Level. Red Level area really high class. The breakfast here is amazing, “open bar” a fantastic and nice extra. Only the furniture could be cleaned more often. It’s lovely that there are so many birds but their bird poop is absolutely everywhere. 5+ stars for the staff 5 stars for the hotel and -area 3 stars for cleanliness If you really wanna relax and “disconnect”, in this fantastic hotel it’s possible! Worth to spend a few € more as in other 5 star hotels. If you’re eligible for Red Level… go for it!

currently here on holiday and this hotel is amazing. wonderful views and grounds, excellent for relaxation holiday. Food is fantastic. Staff couldn't be anymore helpful, really truly a beautiful lovely place . Room service is good but pricey. Rooms are amazingly beautiful. would stay here again but probably all inclusive due to the prices of some restaurants and services which would be all in if we had gone all inclusive. Overall amazing hotel and excellent staff throughout the place. Always a smile greets you.

The Gran Meliá hotel is a lovely place to stay, particularly for families. The half board option gives you an unlimited breakfast buffet and either lunch or dinner. We went with dinner and can honestly say didn’t have a bad meal for our whole stay. We opted for poolside lunch, sharing a sandwich and chips, which was ample food for us. There is a small supermarket nearby where you can buy water etc to keep you going through the day. Drinks prices in the hotel I would say are on par with London. But if you get (for example) a margarita pitcher at the Mexican restaurant it’s very reasonably priced.

There is no doubt that this is a wonderful hotel, but my 4☆ is because our room wasn't great. The air con wasn't cold enough so that sleeping at night was uncomfortable plus our bed was lumpy ..like lying on a bed of springs. Our room was on the 5th floor and the balcony was a bit like a prison yard with solid rather high walls, most of the others had nice rails that you could see through. Possibly as guests in their 70s they considered we'd be content! Gripe aside, the staff were mostly lovely and friendly. The food was superb at all times. The pool facilities great. Plenty of room to swim or play. Hotel is beautifully designed and in a lovely quiet location. The nightly entertainment was above average. Yes, I would consider returning, but out of season and in a better room.

We booked half board , the only thing that i recommend to change is that in have board, no drinks were included in our package .. even near the pools.. if normal drinks same as cola , soft drinks & etc were included.. that would be much more better & also spa & indoor pool was not included even in all inclusive you must pay 40 euros .. the rest was perfect and the last thing is that they don’t serve normal water after the first day. The most of stuff were very friendly & the atmosphere & location of the hotel was absolutely fabulous. I recommend it 8.9 / 10

Really enjoyed this resort, great service. Came here as a family holiday and arrived very late, they arranged food for us to eat while they sort checking in. We were given 3 rooms right next door to each other which was great service and very convenient. The breakfast was great and staff are really nice. The resort was beautiful we didn't want to leave.

A fantastic three days events in this hotel. The place is amazing and the view bring calm and serenity to the hotel. The room are great, the food at the buffet was good with a large choice whatever for vegetarian or flexitarian. People are very reactive to any of your requests. And the design and the comfort of the hotel is great. Good place to have a peaceful rest on a beautiful island.

We had a fantastic holiday here. The food was extremely good and the staff were very attentive. We had a particularly good experience with the baby club - Flor in the baby club was so kind and caring towards our 18 month old and he absolutely loved visiting throughout our stay! Highly recommend the childcare provided at this hotel.

Lovely hotel with some fantastic facilities but the kids club was only good for under 5’s (more like a nursery in an indoor room), food was poor across all restaurants and there’s clearly problems with sun loungers and space around the only family pool with people reserving beds from 7am despite signs telling people not to. No consequences at all for doing it though so people simply ignore or are left without anywhere to sit by 9am. ‘Red level’ guests only ones with access to some pools and areas despite all guests paying 5* prices. Glad we went during a supposedly quieter week otherwise it would be chaos. Needs more family access as clearly most people staying have children so demand for these areas is truly at a premium.

Beautiful resort and staff very friendly. The rooms are fairly nice but getting outdated. Little musty... The check in experience and anytime you need help at the front desk is super, super slow. Almost comically so. Food is great, lots of variety and the staff in the restaurants, especially Pangea, are wonderful. Very good with kids.

We had a lovely stay at the Melia in November, but since returning home the relaxing holiday has been cancelled out by the amount of times i have had to contact customer support. Whilst we were there, there was a fault with our room and we were moved to another one - all fine. We paid our bill at the end of the holiday and left, only to several days later receive a charge that was not on our bill for the room mini bar. We did not use this and have clearly been charged for the people who were in the room before us, as it was quickly cleaned and made ready for us when we moved. I have contacted the hotel upwards of 10 times now to get a refund and have either been ignored or told "the team will handle it and get back to you". No one has confirmed the refund and we are now 2 MONTHS past our visit. I do not expect this level of customer service from a 5 star hotel and am so disappointed I have had to waste so much time on this and it is STILL not resolved.

Once again I had an amazing stay at Red Level, this was my 3rd stay here in 12 months and I am hoping to return again next month. It really is a home away from home and as a solo traveller I always feel very comfortable,. Food is always great, and cocktails made perfectly. The staff go out of their way to ensure you are completely looked after. I believe Mario from reception, Jose Angel, Eva and Alejandro from the Redlevel bar deserve as special mention as they were all so attentive and eager to help with anything I needed.

Excellent hotel overall. + they really looked after my friend who had an accident on her bicycle + the range and quality of food is very good + our room was great + concierge sorted me out with golf Look out for Omar at breakfast - he always has a smile and very helpful The only - is the speed of service from the bars. OK it’s going to be expensive but please serve us quickly. We ended drinking in the garage next to the hotel who were very quick and SO cheap !

Red Level staff are wonderful. The hotel architecture and gardens make it unique. It’s spotlessly clean. We particularly like happy hour on the terrace in the sun. Evening entertainment good, but bring a coat. Weather amazing in the day. Rugged coastline, great walks.

Lovely hotel...very big and hence can be busy during breakfast times unless you have paid as a red level guest. On a quiet location...in Alcala.. there are a few lovely restaurants nearby, in particular B on the Rocks..fab food. We didn't manage to book evening meals at the restaurant due to having to go access via app so cannot say quality of food at restaurant..Entertainment is fair. Grounds are beautifully maintained with great pools, and there is a heated adults only pool next to the red level pool. If you want a busy place to stay than look at staying near Fanabe...as this hotel is in quiet location.

Anyone who wants a "typical" vacation experience (ESPECIALLY if you're traveling without kids)... Listen up. TLDR: If you want to have fun and/or expect any kind of service, don't come to this place. Beautiful views, horrible experience. Firstly, there's little info online. If you want to book a reservation or any excursion, good luck doing so beforehand (which you NEED to do. Get the app or call well ahead of time if staying here). Finding somewhere to eat at this resort is a nightmare. Go to the front desk, they tell you to use the app. Everything is booked for a month on the app, they tell you to call. You call they tell you to go to the restaurant, or come back tomorrow. Unnecessary run around. On top of that, the food and drinks are expensive. They don't serve cocktails at the restaurants. The food was by far the worst I've ever had at a hotel/resort/restaurant even remotely close to this "caliber". It was barely edible. If you want drinks at the pool, good luck. They have call buttons, but no one ever came (for any guest that pressed them, in the entirety of my trip). My party was reprimanded for: - drinking in the pool (out of plastic) - music (they had music playing from the speakers themselves) - not having enough cards to trade for towels (I get that for eco reasons -- but why don't they give you a card for each day of your stay? I'm there for a week and I get one pool towel?) It seemed like they had more people employed to police the resort than to actually serve anyone. On top of all this, I spent nearly an hour before my flight trying to get back into the room (which I was still booked on) to retrieve a pair of my shoes that I had left before checking out. They gave me 1000 excuses, up to and including that "their system was down". Oh, and, since I hadn't "booked luggage transfer" when the room was booked, I couldn't get any help with my bags to the lobby (the resort is huge). I asked to add it and they said no. This was confusing since someone had helped with our bags to the room when we checked in. If you're coming with a large family and have everything (down to times of meals & bookings) planned for you by a travel agent, this might be the place for you. Otherwise, I suggest looking elsewhere. Note: I didn't choose this hotel as it was a work trip.

I been to a lots of 5 star hotels and resorts but this one is for sure one of the nicest one. Such a humble, down to earth, helpful and amazing staff. Room service is everyday on top, the beach is so beautiful, several restaurants options and buffet is wow. If you rent a car you discover a lot around the area. The resort / hotel have very beautiful view during sun and specially sunset. Thanks to all staff in Restaurants/ reception / room service and all . From the entrance to all over you go you feel welcome and wow ❤️! Felt like a family for a week ! See you all soon again ❤️

Thank you Melia for a wondeful trip. We had a super, super trip. Postives - Excellent staff - in particular we had amazing service from Beatriz from Cuba who looked after us very well at the restaurants and Kristina was wonderful with our children at the kids club. Lovely grounds and the pools gave lots of space and variety, evening entertainment was excellent, our room was well-equipped and comfortable, staff were friendly and attentive Constructive feedback- Was tricky to get sunbeds despite hotel's best efforts to restrict people from reserving them early. Also hard to get decent times reserved for the restaurants as they went as soon as they were available. The food was very nice but I would not describe it as 5-star standard. Kiddies' menu could do with a little more choice outside the buffet.

The staff was outstanding. No request presented a challenge. Everything was pretty simple to understand. The top rooms were outstanding and oh-so-comfortable. We were completely astounded by this hotel's quality and value. Since we departed, I have been telling everyone about this. There are a ton of pools, restaurants, bars, and entertainment options within the hotel. We continued to leave at least once a day for a supper or a stroll along the beach, but we were never able to wait to return. The prices was pretty consistent over 250£ a night on all booking sites but was able to find it the cheapest on Locktrip for 182£ a night, and if you do this little trick and add this code JGPHT before login you get it even cheaper, enjoy!

A really lovely hotel with exceptional staff! On arrival we were treated to a complimentary glass of champagne and when being booked in the reception staff even looked to see if they could upgrade our room. Sadly not on this occasion but our room was fantastic regardless. We originally booked for half board as this generally suits my husband and I however were offered to upgrade at a reduced rate. We had some lunch and within a couple of hours decided to to go all inclusive and we are so glad we did! All the food is excellent and so varied. We visited the Italian restaurant twice and couldn’t fault the food it was as good as being in Italy. We went to the Mexican restaurant for lunch every day and again food was always really good and the staff were so friendly and helpful to make any substitutions on the menu (if you aren’t a fan of mayo or dressing for example) We originally planned to sit around the adult only pool area thinking this would be quieter however we sat at the big pool most days around the gardens as it was just as quiet and had a lovely sea breeze. I’m sure during summer times with more families there it might be busier but out of season was perfect! The staff need their own mention as everyone was so friendly and helpful and often went out their way to help or assist in anyway they could. I haven’t stayed anywhere where the staff are all equally as great as each other. The hotel is isolated by itself and there is a short walk to the local village but nothing much there so I would personally definitely recommend and all inclusive stay as there really isn’t anything you would miss out on locally. The evening entertainment on the Saturday night ‘Rock Night’ possibly one of the best hotel shows I have ever seen! It was amazing and the music was great, we also really enjoyed flamenco night and Circus! The production and theatre of these shows are amazing.

Very nice hotel with amazing views, staff are really friendly and always helpful, food is really good with a variety from around the world, on site shop with few souvenirs, baby products, toys and few clothes. Decent selection of cocktails, wine and spirits. Room clean and very good size (deluxe room) comes with robes and slippers, tea and coffee & water. Hotel is a bit of a maze but after a day or two you will find your way around, would highly recommend.

The hotel is very large with 500+ rooms but even though it was Easter holidays it was very well run and on the whole it's a very nice place with plenty of different areas to sit, swim and enjoy. Restaurants have to be booked in advance though when its busy and several times we couldn't eat in any of them except the main buffet which is vastly overpriced and was not very good quality. It was terrible the one night we tried it. The breakfast buffet is pretty decent though and the coffee is good. The main pool is incredible - not heated but is huge and non chlorinated which is a bonus. However there is an unfortunate sewage odour that over-powers some areas though. The staff were great and unusually the evening nightly entertainment in the plaza was excellent and well worth a view. There are some decent restaurants within walking distance along the promenade.

My family of three stayed at the Gran Melia hotel for 12 nights with bed and breakfast. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the facilities are fantastic and the service is excellent. We cannot fault the hotel and it’s staff as they really do go out of their way to make guest experience wonderful. I would suggest though that if you want to stay at the hotel and not explore the rest of the island, go all-inclusive. It is very expensive to eat and drink if not all-inclusive and the local town has limited restaurants with quality food and dining. We have a three year old and we couldn’t order anything between breakfast and lunch as the snacks were only available to all-inclusive guests which made it challenging to keep her from getting hungry. We did however distract her by doing a lot of swimming in the various pools available. For families, they offer a family pool and a kids pool. The kids pool has slides, a pirate ship and a playground which they love. Lots of toys and balls are also available for the kids to play with. The main infinity pool at the back of the complex overlooks the ocean and has access to the beaches via an underground tunnel from the hotel. The evening events were brilliant, flamenco dancers, circus performers, singers, dancers, dinosaurs and fireworks. The hotel put on a show every night except Mondays and had musicians playing every other day at breakfast. Overall a great holiday but if you are intending on staying and not exploring, go all-inclusive.

The Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora stands as an outstanding hotel, boasting a delightful ambiance that enhances your stay. However, the lackluster in-room service options do leave room for improvement. On a positive note, the evening music shows are a standout feature, offering entertainment that contributes to a memorable visit despite some shortcomings.

Huge and beautifully arranged resort. It's huge enough to get lost trying to find your room. Even the basic rooms are nice and large and have everything one needs. The whole resort has multiple, large pools. This includes a child-friendly pool with pirate ship and multiple slides and the huge seawater pool. We found the pools (even the heated ones) to be a bit on the cold side. Overall the entire resort is very child-friendly and children are everywhere which is awesome for families. If you intend to travel without children to relax do note that there are children everywhere and noise/activities related to them throughout the resort. The evening events (incl. fireworks) can also be very loud and heard throughout the resort depending on where your room is located. Restaurants and breakfast in the resort are okay. The whole "Red Level" concept and multiple attempts at upselling us were a bit unexpected at such a high-level resort. Overall we had a great time with only breakfast and no upsells included and would come back.

The Gran Melia is one of those hotels you see in Hollywood. The place is reassuringly expensive. Child friendly. Staff well trained. Pools to have fun in. One over 200 yards long, no exaggeration. Rooms very very luxuriant all things done tastefully. The best part is I am talking of the "poor man's" side of the hotel. There is an upgrade path to the "Red Level" if required. It is not as the level I experienced was wonderful. I have stayed at this hotel a few times now. I am coming back. Please do not confuse this hotel with a normal 5* hotel. I sit here this morning looking at the Atlantic listening to bird song. Off to a sumptuous breakfast.

Highly recommended for a relaxing family break. From the moment you arrive at this stunning resort you are taken by the beautiful building. The most important aspect of ones holiday is the level of service and this place has delivered an exceptional customer experience throughout our stay. Raquel to name one particular person was always at the forefront of our experience. Raquel went the extra mile whenever I needed help/advice on anything. Would definitely visit again.

Our Room Smelt of dampness - and greeted us as soon as we walked in, an overpowering smell, when opening the wooden fixtures and furnishings it was clear that where the smell came from them. Because the shower doesn't have an extractor fan, ceiling fan or window - thats what causes the damp smell. I would guess years of that problem not being address because of the size of the hotel would cost millions to correct. It brought memories of my Grandads house which had that exact smell, for the same reasons. The room was dusty in certain areas and the light fitting (red plastic spirals) were caked in dust and sticky... The phone in the toilet is odd and unnecessary. Is this for older guest who fall over? (not much pace for them to fall over as it's a tiny toilet. The shower doesn't have a handle from the inside, it also need a better drainage system in place when you walk out of the shower or better yet make it a walk in shower/ shower room. Other wise as there is no step from the shower to the room makes it very wet as the shower door moves the towel when you step out of the room. Basics ignored. The beds were two singles pushed together, they were hard and uncomfortable, the pillows were also rock hard and thin & the sheets were cheap. For the money you're paying, you'd expect a quality bed mattress/ memory foam with soft feather pillows and a decent thread count sheet/ bedding. These were absent so sadly we had to make do. The Hotel food The Mexican pool bar/ restaurant I could only describe as inedible, this "Tex Mex" food was of extremely poor quality, with the menu having two maybe three "Mexican" style of dishes to pick from which in itself was laughable. But not as laughable as what was served. If you're used to good Mexican food you'll be disappointed, but if you're from a country that doesn't you'd know no better. L´Olio - Trattoria & Pizza bar - pizza was slightly oily, the pasta dishes we're that great either. But the greasy pizza 5/10 so edible. Nami Asian Bistro - confused menu with Indian curry, Thai & Japanese dishes on the menu. We had green Thai for our mains which was again average but okay... The gyoza's weren't fresh and tasted like they had been defrosted, the roll's were extremely greasy. The chicken satay was €20 which seemed extortionate. Sadly the food wasn't up to scratch for us. I'd say also get rid of the sausages in the breakfast buffet. Cardboard has more flavour. The beach was nice though. haha Sadly I wouldn't recommend or ever stayed again unless it was taken over by someone like Soho house group. Staying at the Farmhouse cost less and is far superior....

Truly huge spacious complex, beautiful manicuring. I thought breakfast buffet was overall pretty good, though the coffee could be better. Staff were always friendly and warm. However AC in the rooms was poor, there's a weird lighting system, it was generally dark, and the furniture was wooden, felt old and smelled musty. Also for a luxury hotel the room TV was on the small side.

2* is based on a couple with no kids who didn't want to take the 'all inclusive option' - we were after a relaxing break, which this hotel failed to deliver. I'll break this into points which will hopefully help you make an informed decision if this hotel is for you or not. - Our biggest issue with the hotel was the fact we felt 'miss sold' - the red level wasn't at all clear when booking on the site. It felt like they wanted you to book in the standard section, then when you realise that the things you expect at a hotel aren't included you're forced to upgrade. It did become a bit of a joke by the end, but basic things like room service you expect with a hotel. - The music/entertainment, granted this might be a taste thing but still you'll be kept awake till 11pm every night, far from ideal if you want to relax or if you have young kids. UNLESS, you stay in the red level where you probably won't hear this. - Cost of food if your not all inclusive - we paid e100 for a very average lunch. To put this in perspective, we had an 3 course evening meal the night before with wine for e50 which was far a country mile better. - You need to book the restaurants 48 hours in advance if you want to have a chance of getting a table. This is only after you figure out how to use the VERY slow app. - If you're traveling as a couple without kids, there's only one very small kid free area the rest of the hotel is very family orientated. Not relaxing at all. - Having stayed in multiple hotels, this was the worst breakfast buffet by a long way The staff were accommodating and wanted to help, but there's only so much they can do! In the end we checked out after 2 nights into a 7 night stay. Needless to say we won't be revisiting.

We sadly arrived late at night due to flight delays, but this hotel was a heaven. Very comfortable bed, clean and well lit shower, delicious room service menu that wasn’t too pricey. Breakfast was the best we had in Tanzania. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Hotel itself is stunning. The service is a disgrace. Considering this is a all inclusive package you have to constantly chase the waiters just to order a drink. You can’t go up to the bar due to restrictions. They need more staff. I bet if I was paying they would be straight over Laemer is the rudest member of staff! Her attitude is a disgrace

Nice rooms and especially the bath, super nice big pool, cool gym and great facilities overall. Needs more hammocks as when the hotel is full, there’s almost no place to sit/lay and relax. Breakfast was good but not 5 star standard (needs more fresh fruit options, less sugary pastries and overall a higher food quality), lots of things were only available when paying more (Bali beds, red level area, spa, etc.), plus we asked if there’s a possibility to arrange some cake for birthday (I said I’m ok with paying more for that) but they never came back to us with a positive or negative answer. Also, sports activities very boring and super short time, they need to think about different ages and different fitness levels (not everybody is 60 years old and happy with a 20/30 min aqua gym that felt like a warm up). Staff very polite and friendly.

Beautiful hotel, wonderfully located and for the most part very friendly staff. Nonetheless it’s not a thoroughly welcoming experience, there are too many things which don’t work, can’t be arranged, and the staff doesn’t appear to be focused on customer service excellence. We can only assume this is a hotel management issue. Price/value isn’t great so we won’t come again

Absolutely fabulous. 2nd visit to the resort and style highly recommended. The staff are friendly and courteous, the place is clean and beautiful. The food in every restaurant is fantastic, there are many pools. The family pool was the busiest but the pirate pool was the preferred one for our children.

Fabulous week at Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora. Rooms, pools, food, staff all great. Only a couple of minor suggestions. Booking every meal time through a pretty poor app is not a 5* experience. It’s understandable that tables need booking at such a popular hotel but I think the system or the app need a big upgrade. Secondly, general communication at check-in could be a little more pro-active. No info about the area, bus times, excursions etc. I wonder if we missed a welcome pack in the room? Not much info. We were given a week old schedule for the restaurants so when we went to book dinner at Nami we were told it was closed - mildly disappointing. Other than that a fabulous week and I’d strongly recommend GM to others thinking of staying!

Very good hotel. Buffet was good and so where the other resturants. Out of the 3 pools I’ve been in they where all good (Family pool , pirate pool and infinity pool) they where all good but the infinity tasted like salt and gave my cousin a saw eye. Entertainment was quite good but it starts too late and most the shows are the same thing. Mint hotel though , would come back good price

The resort is beautiful and main restaurant amazing choice of food. Staff are very friendly but even they are confused about levels of bookings!!!! all inclusive is not especially if you have children who want a sandwich or burger by the pool you have to pay extra. If you want a drink by the pool or restaurant and staff have to get it you have to pay!!!!! Management need to look into this, lots of other guests we spoke to felt the same. This hotel needs managers in every section checking on guests requirements. Room servicing sloppy. No teas, milks and other essentials missed. Such a shame this is a beautiful resort but falls done badly on managing.

The hotel is big and very beautiful, with a lot of very well maintained pools and gardens. We had the bad luck to go there when the staff was on strike, so the service was poor at the pool and in all the restaurants. Yet, the buffet breakfast was quite good, with a variety of food to choose from, including a lot of fresh smoothies.

Another wonderful stay. Lovely suite, but what really makes this place special are the staff. From Club Melia reception to every one of the restaurant staff and maintenance staff, all have ready smiles and are always pleased to help. Can't recommend more! We'll be back soon!
