Mamji hospital is good for OPD consultation. Hospital's outlook seems very small n conjested but its huge from inside. Have good lift system. They have constructed new consultation area thats was very well managed by the ticket system. Staff was courteous. Good cleaning inside the hospital. Dr. Saif ul haq diabatologist recommended.

This is what happened to my Brother's son! I'm sharing it here with you all to beware In the words of my brother: My son born on 5 October, via C-section at Mamji Hospital. My wife has Diabetes and hence my sons birth weight was 4.5Kg. After birth he had to be shifted to NICU for observation 24hrs as per protocol. He was otherwise doing well but because my wife was on insulin it's mandatory to keep the baby under observation. At Mamji Hospital, Dr Kashif Abbasi, pediatrician (quack) and NICU Staff Adnan both tried to harm my baby. They maltreated him and my son developed infection, and on 7,October they told that they will shift my baby on ventilator as he has severe Respiratory distress and they aren't hopeful. Kashif said to my mother "hathi ka bacha hai ye insan ka nahi lag raha" and Adnan misbehaved with us. We were helpless because my son was on nasal oxygen and his sugar levels hadn't adjusted till then and hence we couldn't take action until another arrangement was done. After this we called our trusted doctor who had now left Mamji and he asked us to bring him summary and he will then advise us what to do. On inquiring the Mamji NICU staff adnan gave us incomplete summary and didn't give us any report etc and said 'Sir Mamji ne Mana Kia hai patient ki reports dene or file dikhane se" when we took the summary paper he gave to our trusted doctor he advised us to take him on LAMA and shift him to Medicare. When we went back to Mamji Adnan had bad intentions he said that if we take my son off on LAMA it will be risky and my son won't survive. We were terribly upset but still took the risk and called AMAN foundation ambulance which had oxygen support and v supportive doctor and nurse who safely shifted him to medicare. My son was treated in Medicare, the doctor was surprised after examining he found out that cannula passed at Mamji was wrong because of which the glucose drip wasn't working and my son's sugar levels were continuously low. The Doctor then changed his antibiotics and my son recovered within the next two days without any need of ventilator support. Alhamdolillah my son is doing well now. The days when my son was at Mamji there was a girl who died, another woman died after delivery cuz of PPH. Several tests echo etc everything was performed on my son at Mamji, we were looted by these goons. I am bringing this on social media to inform everyone to stay safe and be cautious of these butchers who are just a money making business. Doctors and hospitals are meant to serve people but this hospital is a money making business. Beware and alert others too. #BoycottMamji

Visited Mamji Hospital OPD more than one time during last few months for my father's treatment and later for myself as well. OPD area is situated in newly constructed building consists multiple floors. Its well designed and centrally airconditioned. Each floor having several consulting rooms spacious waiting area reception and payment counters and washroom. Other services like ultrasound, xray, ecg, lab and pharmacy is also available in same building. Wheel chair, stretcher and staff are available at main entrance. Later I admitted for daycare and choose their Delux room. There is separate building for inpatients, that's also multi storied building but not centrally AC. At the time of admission a gift pack handed over which contains essential items for patient. It contains a small towel, soap, tooth brush and paste, toilet paper, thermometer and small tray for medicine. My room was on 2nd floor, where other type of rooms were available like private semi-private. My room was ok, needs attention to call it delux room. Toilet was too small where commode and WC both were fitted, shower fittings were there but it was near to impossible to have 🚿 specially for a patient. As toilet was too small, so a small size washbasin adjusted within room area. Room consists, patient bed, a 3 seater sofa side table, cabinet, small fridge, AC unit, and LED tv. Surprisingly bed sheet and spare sheets were having logo of a Gulf country hospital. I couldn't find the reason behind. There is no food service for patients for the moment. Floor paramedic staff was quite cooperative and ready to help. Although I was there for less than 24 hrs, my overall experience was good. Jan 2023 Recently Quality assurance dept. introduced. A complaint office established. I visited this office last week and register a complaint regarding payment receipt issuance to payee. In OPD original receipt (in most cases) kept with doctor/consultant and on request a receipt with a mark of duplicate given to payee. Also noticed, Bank Alfalah installed an ATM at Mamji hospital.

One of average private hospitals in Karachi, not that good and not that bad. Location is good and many from central and north Karachi can easily reach there. As far as facilities are concerned, almost all major facilities are available, however their quality and authenticity is a big big question mark. Charges are also high compare to the level of service they are providing. Patient care is also vary a lot from almost no care to high care. Surgeons are quite inexperience so if you wanna have any surgery, please be aware that it could cost more than Aga Khan Hospital although initial charges are lower but the after effects and long follow ups can lead to more charges than any other private hospital of Karachi. Even at times certain medicines are not available which are prescribed by their very own doctors. Not recommended for major surgeries but for routine OPD and minor surgeries you can avail their services.

I had the worst experience of my life. As a first time mom i was expecting that the labor room staff would treat me with politeness and care instead they treated me as if I an animal especially during contraction, when I asked one of the nurses to turn on fan as I was sweating and there was no ventilation she kept on disappearing and she even scold me for crying during intense contraction, the bed was extremely uncomfortable they didn't offer me any supporting hand, they forced me to walk to the labor room during intense contraction when I could have fell on the floor. They left me unattended for almost an hour and didn't allow my attenders to come to me. They are insanely inhuman. The renowned gynaecologist, Dr Jehan Arah, whom I kept on taking appointments for 9 months never met me a single time during these appointments, unless I was in the labor room for delivery, i met her for the first time. Dr. Jahan Ara is extremely arrogant, she became furious when I asked why I was given certain medicine she became furious. after shifting me in my room she never bothered to pay a followup visit that either I'm doing well or not, the nursing staff only cared to appear when I called them that I am having severe pain. They only showed politeness when the baby was delivered. Moreover, the room which was given to me was infested with cockroaches and one can see roaches on the baby cot. Zero Stars for Mamji Hospital.

Ultimate ghatya hospital especially Dr. Bhatti. Took a relative due to high fever. They told me to hospitalize the patient and then they performed all kinds of tests including Dengue, Blood, Urine, Corona, and what not. After experimenting on the patient for 2 days, they finally decided it is neither Covid or Dengue but it is Malaria and thereafter they gave him antimalarial medicine in high doses. Patient's condition deteriorated further. After reading material on Google, I kept requesting that you are over dosing but no one listened and finally my patience ran out and I took relative to another hospital where they confirmed that they significantly over-dozed the patient. Mamji team only gave me a hand written in the name of "medical report" because I wanted to make sure to keep evidence for legal matters. Furthermore, this hospital smells like a fish market, dirty to the core with clear demonstration of absolute mismanagement. There is no one to complain to, you are not treated as a patient but as a ATM machine.

I went to hospital for stitches. They charged around 2,500 for 3 stitches. Even stitches are not on a sensitive part of the body. Stitches on hand and they charged 2.5k Dressing room, injection room which were completely waste of time for me. They charged in dollars for those useless room. Around 450 and 350 respectively for few mins. Had i been to Abbasi, it wouldnt cost more than 500.

There's no parking space at the hospital, it's a complete hassel to park your vehicle. The hospital is on the main Shahrah-e-Pakistan and visitors have to park their vehicle on the road which not only causes traffic congestion but it's also dangerous. Moreover the guards outside try to mint some easy money by helping you in parking. The inside building is unhygienic.

Dr Ali Anwar Jilani, hands down the best orthopedic surgeon in Mamji hospital. Very professional & competitive doctor, also really humble in person. He did a surgical case in my family, we were anxious & afraid and searched about multiple surgeons but no doubt he's very skilled MashaAllah. As for hospital they should take patients complain seriously and needs improvement.
