We went there because of a good review of this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and most of the staffs were very nice and friendly but the food were not so good. The prices seems to be cheap for each dish but it was really not much. Normally for two people , we usually ordered 3 Thai dishes and rice and it was usually more than enough but there we had to order one more dish and it really could be more. The taste was okay, fried mixed vegetables was very good, the others were average.

We had gone here during the sunset time. The host had graciously offered us a beautiful shack with sea view along with candle light dinner. We had ordered white snapper and squid with their special sauce , local beers making the perfect accompaniment. Price was on the higher side. Everything was good, the food, the view, the company, slow music, candle light except the constant company of mosquitos and fly. They provided us with mosquito repellent spray which was quite effective. The restrooms were so pretty and clean. We will like to come here again.

Wandered towards the north end of the beach to see all the restaurant options available. Decided to go with Thai Cat, and very happy we did. Great location right on the beach. Lots of options on menu with very fair prices. Service was great, not intrusive, just got what we needed. You can't beat a nice meal right on the edge of the beach. Happy with the food quality and prices overall. Definitely recommend and will go back myself.

We have spent many an afternoon at Thai Cat and absolutely love it. The staff are all so friendly and efficient, they work really hard to keep everything nice. Our kids love spending time there, too, with all of the toys and play equipment. The food is fantastic and you cannot beat the lovely view. Our favourites are the calamari, fried chicken, and fried rice. Best restaurant on koh lanta!

The Roti bread was my favourite part, it was served with a sweet dip. The prices are a bit higher than average but was an overall good place to eat but nothing outstanding.
