Beautiful store for unique handmade products. Must visit in downtown Halifax.

Beautiful collection of hand crafted art from various local artists nicely displayed throughout the small store. Lots of lighting, clean white layout, and usually not too crowded. Inkwell is definitely a wonderful little store to find that unique hand-made gift for that someone special.

A thrill to have Inkwell in walking distance from my office. THe new location an South Park street is gorgeous! From the walls of my home to delighful gifts and cards you can never go wrong with such a thoughtfully curatored selection of beautifual handmade goods, many from Nova Scotia.

This place is perfect! My favourite store in the entire city! I have to hold back going here and reading all the cards, let alone buying a thousand of them! I send my niece a card in the mail every two weeks and thankyou inkwell for making them sooosososo special. There is a card for every occasion and every type of relationship. Inkwell is one of my favourite businesses in Halifax! They have a huge selection of beautiful items, and everything is very high quality. They are my go-to spot for nautical/maritime-themed gifts, but I also love their fabulous range of cards, pottery, notepads, candles, and more. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. A must-see for both locals and visitors to Halifax!

So many people have told me I would love this shop, and they were not wrong! A cute little spot, very well organised and presented. Lots of local makers featured here! The staff was super friendly and informative. He was able to give details on many of the artist and talk about different things they offer seasonally. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone in the area. Worth the stop! Also wheelchair friendly. No steps leading up to the entrance!

Nice lady, nice handmade stuff, but way too expensive. I bought a mug here for mother's day a few months ago, and the total came out to $110 for the mug and a card. I understand handmade goods are worth more, but it seemed a bit absurd.

A delightful shop that carries a variety of artistically curated goods. The space is dreamy and light, perfect for browsing the assorted wares and imagining what you might take home. It's a perfect place to find gifts for absolutely anyone, with things ranging from art prints to local food to tchotchkes. The people that work there are all incredibly lovely and friendly and eager to talk about everything in the shop.

Fantastic customer service! I ordered a gift from their online store for my daughter in Halifax. They added a personal card with my message and had it ready in record time for her to pick up! So pleasant and helpful. We will definitely visit when we go back east again!
