We visited this place for a total of 4 or 5 times on different trips to Halifax from Ontario. On our most recent visit to Halifax, we misread the opening hours and decided to stop to grab a 24 on our way out of town at 2pm when the place only opened at 4pm. We were sitting outside in disappointment when one of their employees passed by (on his way to open and prep, perhaps) and asked if we needed anything. We explained our error and Dylan/Dillon (not sure of spelling) was eager to help. He first offered to give us a couple of cans on the house, and when we expressed that we were looking to buy a larger quantity, he suggested the workaround of ordering online and doing an in-person pickup. We did just that and he packed up the beers we bought on the spot. Off we went to Ontario with our 36 Good Robot beers! This is a must-go spot in Halifax!

Amazing brewery... From Ontario, we don't have nearly as much breweries, but this one is a place to visit. Michael (floor manager), was the best! I don't even know how to describe him but 5 star experience and service. And recommended hidden local gems!

Love this local brewery and tap room. Tasty beers, cozy, fun atmosphere. Service was amazing! Attentive service who truly care about the customer. Try the Category 7!

Simply fantastic! Friendly service from Pete, Scarlett and the team. Amazing beers brewed right there. Great prices too. A small but interesting hot food menu. Eclectic bar. What an addition to Robie this is! My only comment to the management: the menu said hand-cut fries but we felt they were more like frozen food service fries. They were nice, but they definitely didn't look hand-cut. With that said, we can't wait to be back, it's by far the best bar in the whole area!

A wonderful place to enjoy. We tried different beers and they were all great. The waitresses are super friendly and we felt very comfortable. We will definitely come back. The ambience, the menu and the whole design have been thought through down to the smallest detail. Absolutely worth visiting.

Really cute courtyard of the building that catches your eye. The lady that met me at the enterence was very friendly and upbeat. The courtyard has a variety of different tables set up, keeping with social distancing measures. Inside the retail, seating space has nice atmosphere and staff make you feel welcome. The bartender/salesman, was very helpful and patient. Took the time to explain the different beers to me, giving me a sample of one I was curious, but unsure about. I bought the beer, after the sample! Actually, I left with 4 new beers I had never tried, very early to experience them. I will be back to sit down on premises to enjoy a drink.

Beer is obviously great here. The food menu is small and focused which is something more places could learn from. The patty melt felt like the perfect homemade sandwich. Mussels and sauce were exceptional served with just the right amount of sourdough toast. The scallops were the only ones I've had cooked properly in Halifax despite it being a port town with an abundance of amazing seafood. Highly recommend stopping for a bite with your next brew.

If you like craft breweries, this place is a must. Awesome beer, nachos were fantastic, and the staff have been great. Also great merch if you like that sort of thing.

Great location! To be honest we had hit a few other breweries before we got there so my assessment may not be the best but we liked what we had!

The place itself is amazing, with great decorations and super friendly staff. We thought the food was uneven (between very good and just ok that is), but at least there are some vegan options. The beer is fine, but nothing to write a Google review about.

Stopped in for brunch on Saturday. We ate on the turf. Free sunscreen is a nice touch! Service was great. Food was delicious. Asked for extra hollandaise (homemade btw) and was not disappointed.

Great Brew pub with decent food and very wide range of beers. Three different lagers with the complete spectrum of craft. Parking was hard to determine

Our server, Lindsey, was so sweet and patient and kind. We were there for a sad occasion and it was turned into a celebration because of the atmosphere and the staff. The wallpaper in one of the washrooms fit my mood exactly. I know that sounds weird, but... Thank you for making that day a little easier.

The inside is a bit crowded but they have a great patio! We got the nachos, chicken burger, and the loaded fries which were all very good. There were a lot of toppings on the nachos so you weren’t stuck with a bunch of plain chips at the end which is great. I got a racket to drink which was lovely and my husband got one of their IPAs which he really liked as well.

We went to get drinks to-go during the open hours. We thought it was open for the public, but there was a set-up for a queer prom event going on. we got stopped by two staff members telling us to wait outside because queer prom wasn’t starting yet. We said weren’t there for queer prom, but it looked like it would be a fun time! It was a bit awkward having to keep explaining that we just wanted drinks to go. I think next time there is an event going on, we will just go else where to stay out of the way. The drinks we got were nice.

We were visiting Halifax this summer and decided to stop in for a beer...and very glad we did! Cool atmosphere (kind of a courtyard feel to the outdoor searing area), a unique and delicious menu, a great selection of beers and very friendly staff. Seriously, the menu is very, very good! Definitely the place to go if you want a great feed and some great beer.

I went to goodrobot for silent reading up in the loft like space.. I ended up ordering ghe pulled pork sandwich, which was delicious. The vibe was amazing.. super cozy.. and the staff were super friendly and accommodating...and totally didn't judge me as I ran around taking pictures..plus few selfies. While I waited for my mate to show up.. over all .. fabulous place.. totally going again for silent reading but hope to catch few other events they have going :)

Staff was really friendly and a great spot for tasty beers in a true den of geekery with a sci-fi feel. Not around for food but I will be back sooner than later!

We went for my birthday yesterday and I was shocked at how amazing the food was. My and my three friends enjoyed every part of our meal. I also enjoyed the selection that they had for drinks but I would highly recommended going for the atmosphere and the food!

Stopped by as I checked out other local breweries in my first day in Halifax. Easily at the top of the list for numerous reasons. Great beer for anyone's taste, with numerous selections, Diablo being my personal favourite. Staff was friendly & helpful with suggestions as well. Set up was nice and inviting. Can see why locals would have high praise

🫀 Overall experience was not pleasant. This was recommended by my friend, so we thought to give it a try. Bartenders was fantastic, very professional and helpful all around, however, the waitress on the other side was completely different. Not only she forget to check on our table for about 35 minutes...
