Great place to get away from the city or take your dog's for a walk. Many trails throughout the park would take days to explore everything. I spent a couple hours there and only saw like 20% of the park. Lots of little hard to spot trails that come with challenges or take the big wide main trails for a more relaxed walk.

The best place to visit in Halifax during winter especially when it’s snowing. The park is entirely covered in snow and it has breathtaking view of Atlantic Ocean. You will find people out for walk here with pet along. It’s huge place and it’s very easy to get lost. There are mini maps placed at some locations, so you can figure out your location and near by attractions.

Tons of nice trails and waterfront walking, lots of sealife you can see even from just off the trail. We didn't have our dog but other people did and they loved it. The trails can get rocky at points but its well worth it. Went in early July hoping to swim but it was WAY too cold

A wonderful area of Halifax to walk, bike, walk your dog, or just chill. The park is on a point facing out the harbour, so it provides spectacular views of the harbour. The pathways are well maintained and most are easy to navigate. The park was once a major military post during the war, so scattered throughout the park are remains of gun emplacements or fortifications. There is lots of free parking in multiple areas. Washrooms are scattered around the park.

Beautiful park, excellent place to take your well behaved dog for an off leash walk. (Pay attention to signs indicating on vs. Off leash areas). Particularly beautiful views along the outermost sections of trails along the water.

Great walking and cycling place. Amazing area for dog walking. If from out of town the loading ship yard is something captivating to watch for a while loading containers. Never realized cargo ships were that enormous👍👀

It’s a beautiful spot with lots of great views. Anything such as walking, running, biking or even running a dog can be possible because the park has wide paths and is well maintained. It’s a nice place to get away from the city although it’s located in the city, Halifax.

I love to head to Point Pleasant Park for a nice walk any time of the year. My dog also loves it here and there are many off leash areas !

This park is gorgeous and very big. There is plenty of wheelchair parking. It's easy to stroll around in a wheelchair and even better on a bicycle. Be prepared to sweat up and down the multiple walkways if walking. The waterfront view goes on for quite the kilometers. The same is true with the forest scenery. The historical sites are interesting. There are benches and tables to sit and enjoy a picnic. The bathroom facilities could be better taken care of, as they're quite smelly and poorly maintained. I recommend visiting this park if you want to just relax and let your eyes enjoy the beauty of nature.

Great park. Very good for walking, running, bicycles and walking dogs. Mostly there will be rush on weekends and evening hours.

Spectacular and a wonderful place to take a walk and be humbled by the stories and lists of those who sacrificed for us.

One of the premier attractions to visit while in Halifax. Easily several hours of hiking and exploring. Lots of friendly dogs, some are unleashed so be aware if you are afraid. Accessible by car or bus. You could walk from downtown but you should save your energy for walking in the park.

What a gem for the very lucky residents of Halifax. We took our dog there every day that we were here. I highly recommend it for anyone staying in the area. Simply beautiful

Really nice, walkable, you can't swim at the beach there as there is a sign that says the water hasn't been tested.

Great park with a lot of nature and fairly close to the city. I wish it wasn’t so close to all the noise from the port, but nevertheless a big park for walking, running, biking, and enjoying the water, trees, and weather.

Pleasant atmosphere, mostly people exercising early morning and supper, couples in evening. Families, children throughout the day. Cyclists and the such frequent but not aggravating. Clean but almost entirely scenic, not designed for much more than picnics. Exercise machine with various tools near the water and lowest entrance by helipad

What's not to love at Point Pleasant park. History and nature, with accessible trails for all abilities. My sister went for a walk and had a picnic on the shores of iconic Halifax Harbour.

This is a wonderful park on the waterfront at the end of the Halifax peninsula. While I expect it is busy on weekends, I enjoyed some peace and quiet on the weekday morning that I was there.
