Even a few meters below the Kolkturmberg it can hardly be seen... Below the tower lies a Stone Age grave. Benches invite you to linger before you dare to climb the approximately 15m high tower... On a good day, a wonderful panoramic view over the treetops can be seen far into the Saale district... It's worth it, highly recommended.

We started a nice and easy walk from the parking slot next to the Biergarten Schwarzer Kater. It took us approx 25 mins to reach the viewing platform. (Slow tempo) The tour is suitable also for small kids. My 3 years old son managed to walk there & back without any issue. The view is beautiful. The viewing platform on top was full of graffiti and empty beer bottles. The responsible folks should act here accordingly. Recommended
