We went to have dinner here and there was no wait for 2 people at 5:45 pm. The service was great and the food was delicious. They had a good selection on the menu. The jalapeño pesos appetizer was delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant. We could have a nice conversation while enjoying our meal. The manager came around and asked how everything was. We will be back here soon!

Tried this place for the first time. I heard that it's a historic Texas steak eatery. Venue is pretty neat with some old rustic Texas style souvenirs. I ordered the 13 ounce ribeye medium well. It was good, but I feel that I've ate a better $30+ steak. The salad was nothing too special, simple house salad. Had the rolls which were pretty good. Their queso and ranch served with house made chips were very good. The jalapeno cheddar soup was amazing. All in all I feel they may have some great selections, but some of my items were hit or miss. I'd definitely like to visit again and try some of the other dishes to see if I could calibrate my taste to a better selection. I would recommend visiting this place as the service was good and the food selection was high quality. A little on the pricey side, but it's fairly good.

FOOD: The fries are good, the steak is okay quality, although it isn't quite soft. Mac and cheese, however... PLEASE AVOID!! I got food poisoning from the mac and cheese. Maybe due to cheese being old, not sure. Prices are definitely a bit high for the quality. SERVICE: 3 stars is adequate. Seems like the waiter was not really feeling it that well. Nothing spectacular. Also wait time was somewhat slow at 4 pm ATMOSPHERE: Very well decorated restaurant, and bathrooms are clean. No major spots and no bugs found. Overall, have to give it a 2 star just because of the food poisoning. Quality is okay, nothing special.

First time visiting. Got the lunch portion of the ribeye, medium rare. Perfect. Waitress was even better. One of my pet peeves is when a server asks if you want more tea, water, soda, etc. Just bring another when you see the glass getting empty. The food was great and I didn't have to ask for anything from service. She just brought it. 👍

The sides were better then the main course. Pictures made me want to come here but it didn't live up to the hype. First, only order drinks from the bar that are bottled. My wine was good but others had martinis and it was a disaster. Most of the staff very friendly but our bartender and waiter disappeared for long periods of time, we saw no one but the hostes and even had to go over to the kitchen doir to ask for help. Chips were a disappointment 😞 burnt mostly or raw. Mac and cheese tasted like it came from the box brand, my salmon was over cooked and steaks over cooked because they are brought out on a hot iron plate. The best part of the meal was the corn, salad, soup, rolls, and sausage. The chilli with cheese is a big please no... it has a slice of American Cheese as the "filling"... 🤦‍♀️ smh. I will be back for a to go order of soup and corn.

Went for an early dinner. 5 min before 4pm. Manager honored their lunch special prices. Different special each day as per menu photo. Great price for great food.Catfish, fries, hush puppies, salad $10.00 special. 8 Oz ribeye with salad and baked potato 15.99. Worth the price. Steak a little thin but good flavor. Going back to try other specials.

Searched for a good place to eat while we were in fort worth on a trip and was not disappointed. We got there right when they opened at 11am. Our waiter was great, very personable. I got the smoked sirloin. Absolutely delicious and my husband and his friend got the chicken fried steak and subbed queso instead of gravy to go on top for an additional $2 and they say it was worth every penny. Will definitely go back if we find ourselves making the trip back up to Fort worth.

Food was ok borderline disappointing. Portion of the side dishes and appetizers were generous. The Mac and cheese was cheesy but lacking much taste. The Texas Pecos ie deep fried jalapeno pickles was very cheesy but not what I was expecting. The ribeye was too thin and though tender, it didn't have the deep flavor of thick ribeye steaks. The texture was slightly off and it looks like it was pounded from the surface condition. It didn't have coal or wood flavor, probably done over a gas grill. Steak wasn't cheap, 35$ for 16oz

Didn't have to wait to be seated. Sat in the bar area so I could watch the TCU game. Prompt, friendly service. Ordered Brau chips, rolls, salad, chop steak with Heinz 57 Sauce (love me some Heinz 57 Sauce!!!😍), and a side of mashed potatoes. Everything came out to my table without a hitch! Gabby and the staff were wonderful!!

The food we had wasn't exceptional... This is your basic steak chain. I'd give it a 2.5. Toni offered amazing service, though, and THAT was what earned the 5 stars. Attentive and cheerful, and also extremely knowledgeable. I tried to order a smoked steak, and she made sure to sample it for me so I'd be happy with my order. Thank you, Toni! You deserve a promotion!!

Enjoyed a very good steak salad with their house dressing. Though we were told about a 30 min wait, we were witted within ten minutes. Our waiter was attentive & did a great job! Love the dinner rolls & their candied bacon is a wonderful appetizer!

Not Terrible. Renae the server was aces. I had the pork chops. Nice jalapeno zing in the dip. Made me a sam'ich to take home with a leftover pork chop and roll.

First time dining here. It has a "Roadhouse" feel except with no peanuts. I would consider the food as a little more than good. I had the favorited Coffee Rubbed Ribeye with the Chile Relleno. My wife had the Jalapeno Chicken Fried Steak and mashed potatoes. My steak and Chile came out warm not hot. We didn't get any rolls until we asked for them. They were really good though. You can tell by the pictures, the food didn't really look that exciting. Maybe if they had different plates? They don't really make the food stand out. The steak was closer to the rare side than medium rare. Flavor was nothing to write home about. It was a ribeye, that's all. I guess I was expecting a bit more out of an almost $30, 10oz steak. There are 3 choices for dessert and we went with the brownie. We had 2 cocktails and they did not skimp on the alcohol. They are strong, but I enjoy them that way. If you like no frills, bring my food out now, places. Then this is your place. Not really for me. Especially when you can get a better tasting and better looking steak, for the same price, somewhere else.

1st time visiting. I joined a lunch network meeting hosted by the Northeast Tarrant Chamber. I had a nice sized hamburger with chips which tasted good. The service was friendly and the private room was just the right size to seat all attendants who came comfortably. Thank you for doing such a great job serving.

😠 So I got tacos and quesadillas. No flavor to the meat. They only had flour tortillas and the sauce was literally watered down. Looked and taste like they put water in the sauces to spread it out. They also tried to add extra stuff to my order until I read my receipt and the guy gave me a refund
