Wow!!!! I would have loved to know this place existed a while ago! By far the best experience we've had in a long time. I have nothing negative to say because everything was 10x better than any other breakfast restaurant we have been to! The sticky bun was a cinnamon roll that is enough to feed 4 people. This item melts in your mouth. Oh my gosh, the biscuits are so ridiculously soft and dense. The tomatoes were super fresh, I'm telling you... go here asap!

If you like home cooked food, Bluebonnet has you covered. My coworkers rave about this place, and for good reason. It's been family owned for 30 years, and everything they make is from scratch. It's super cute inside, with themed rooms and gives you that All-American dining experience. The staff are so friendly and I just love how welcoming everyone is. Make sure you come hungry, because they have the biggest biscuits and cinnamon rolls I've ever seen! I highly recommend the Breakfast Trash. It has everything you'll ever need in hearty, stick to your ribs Breakfast.

Food was decent, the hamburger and chocolate shake were excellent but the hard shell tacos were chili with cheese on top. The pie was good but I have definitely had better… the slices seem smaller than I remember.

Had the most amazing mushroom & Swiss burger. With a grilled bun and handmade Patty. And the fries were amazing like old-school french fries you had as a kid. Our waitress Corbin was great. She had such a pleasant attitude. Would highly recommend breakfast or lunch here at Bluebonnet Café.

915 am was a good time to get in and beat the rush. The server was attentive and came back to refill coffee and water. Had the trash breakfast and migas. Food was excellent and came out fast

I try to avoid chain breakfast places whenever I can. Found this place on the way to DFW, looked for a good mom and pop diner with good reviews. The Bluebonnet had 4.6 with over a thousand reviews....had to give it a shot. Wasn't disappointed!! The very first thing that hits you is the incredible amount of decor and memorabilia on the walls. It's like a Cracker Barrel actually did crack. It's overwhelming, but I couldn't stop walking around to look at everything. Second thing was the service. Holy moly....ON POINT. From start to finish, incredibly attentive and sweet. Frequent stops by the table, great conversation. Felt right at home. Third was the food. Just like mom makes it....down to earth cooking. Had the Spanish omelette and biscuit/gravy. Everything was simple, no frills, and TASTY. So good. 27 years in business, can see why! Give them a try!

GIGANTIC STICKY BUNS!!!! It's why I go. The atmosphere is busy and retro so there is always something to make me feel nostalgic. It's full of I Love Lucy, Rod Stewart, Elvis, and other yesteryear memorabilia.

Boot Scootin' and Delicious! This diner is amazing. The biscuits and gravy, chefs kiss! I had the breakfast trash, let me tell you something....I cleaned that plate! We didn't make it in time for the sticky buns, cause they sold out but I'll tell you what buddy....we will definitely be back to enjoy this amazing Cafe! We loved the service and decor. Thank you to the management and staff at Bluebonnet Cafe! 👏

We go EVERY Sunday and since the first visit we've been treated like family. Judy, the owner came over and talked to us the first day we were there and treated us like she had known us forever. We look forward to going every Sudduth. Love, love, love me some Bluebonnet!!! Everything we've tried as been SOOOO good. Besides the people the food is GREAT and HOMEMADE DAILY.

I will start on a positive note. The food was very delicious, the atmosphere was very very cute, and the food came out incredibly fast and hot. Now the negative. We felt rushed. We sat down and our drink order was taken immediately (which we definitely do appreciate that’s not the negative) but then the waitress expected us to have our food order ready before we even opened the menu. It was our first time there so we didn’t have an idea of what we wanted. The waitress came back once to check on us after we got our food which again we appreciate. But we felt rushed to leave, we also noticed every other table but ours was offered drinks to go. We were handed the receipt and told where to pay. When we went to pay the cashier was talking to other employees while holding onto my card before running it. We also didn’t love that we were loudly asked if we wanted to leave a tip on the card and how much of a tip. I personally prefer to tip without being asked how much, I like to put that in quietly on my own and I usually tip more than 30% for good service, but I don’t want to be saying in front of several other people how much of a tip I want to leave. It made me feel very pressured and uncomfortable. As much as we loved the food and the atmosphere of the cafe we don’t see ourselves coming back because of the other issues.

The atmosphere was cute and unique, but our food was not good whatsoever. It came out very quickly and was really cold... The cup I was served water in had multiple cracks and chips on the rim and honestly we just weren't impressed. I think we enjoyed looking at the decor more than anything we ate

Love this place! I’ve been here many times over the years! Love the atmosphere with all the cool throwback items. The food is amazing (I highly recommend the Breakfast Trash) and everyone here is so friendly! As long as I live in the area I’ll continue to come back!

Very home-style cooking. Not overly fantastic, but a decent place to get breakfast and it was packed! So, obviously, they are doing something right. I felt portion sizes could have been a bit bigger for the price point, but probably will return on a future date. The restaurant decor is jam-packed with 'I Love Lucy' memorabilia. Additionally, they have TV screens throughout the restaurant playing old episodes of 'I Love Lucy'. A very niche restaurant with great character and food.

The restaurant is cute on the inside lots to see. I had lunch here today and I can highly recommend it. The food is excellent homemade food. The waitstaff and owner visited our table. They were very nice.

Brought my kids here Sunday morning. Place was absolutely packed, but was still greeted and seated very quickly. Food (ton of it) and service was great! Will definitely be back

The food is five stars in my book and no matter how much I look at the decor every time I come back I'm noticing something I did not see before I am beyond words in a good way.

Meh. We try a different cafe weekly. Ordered the Slim burger plate. Asked to substitute a fried egg for the boiled egg. NOPE. Extra charge. No Coke Zero. Dry hamburger patty. Skimpy salad with some brown leaf edges. Server was good though. Will not return.

😠 So I got tacos and quesadillas. No flavor to the meat. They only had flour tortillas and the sauce was literally watered down. Looked and taste like they put water in the sauces to spread it out. They also tried to add extra stuff to my order until I read my receipt and the guy gave me a refund

😠 ***CHECK YOUR BANK STATEMENTS** I went here it was 2 adults and a 6 yr old. The bill came out to about $63. When I checked the final charge on bank card they charged me about $126. That is not cool I had a waitress she came to check on us a handful of times. I left like a $7-$8 tip not $60+!!!! Mayb...
