The only thing good about this hotel is the location. If you want a good night's rest don't stay here. The shower drain was full of hair and water wouldn't go down. If you come on the weekend there is no parking at their underground garage. Other garages in the area are also full. So good luck with that. They will promise you a free upgrade to a suite, and it's a complete lie. Seriously, think twice about booking here.

Perfectly located within walking distance to many local spots. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Enjoy your apple a day 🍎

The location is great! The hotel has a unique charm to it. I will say the rooms are a bit old and dated but clean. We had two children with us and I was very impressed with the goodies they left. A little craft packet and a little packet with kids soap. Overall good.

We stayed in the modern part of the hotel, when we thought we were staying in the classic one. That really bummed us out. We were expecting the old, cozy, and bigger rooms for the price we paid. Our room was so small that if we had taken luggage we wouldn't have fitted. However, the hotel is well equipped, the rooms are clean and warm, the showers are great, the service in the bar and restaurant are excellent, and the location is unbeatable. We spent New Year's Eve party at the Tower Bar, and the view of the Port and the fireworks were amazing. We had a great time!

We had an event in the roof top area "Ellipse room". The area was well-designed, awesome close-to-panorama view in the outer part and a high class service from the very friendly staff. Thanks for everything! :)

Fantastically located right inbetween the port and the Reeperbahn. Fine service. Rooms somewhat small, but fully equipped and very comfortable. Great kingsize+ bed! Extra star for the exquisite couleur locale both in the hotel lobby and bar!

This is not a 4 star hotel. Rooms are very small and very warm if you happen to have warmer weather like we did. It is quite noisy because of the close by tram and metro. What should have ring an alarm bell is that you get earplugs in the hotel !! Breakfast was charged extra and costs 27euro per person that is way not a fair price. Location is fine (except) for the noise!

The rooms in the tower are average, and to stay a night is sufficient. Some noise from the train in the morning, the towerbar is very good, breakfast as well, a little bit expensive for my taste.

Nice hotel, very convenient located. Four stars only because they change towels every day. Could'n imagine the´re still hotels without sustainability policy.

Wonderful location overlooking the harbours and the Elbphilharmonie, the atmosphere is amazing, a great reference to the long naval history of the hotel and the city. Room was small but well equipped, and friendly front desk staff. Highly recommend for a stay in Hamburg!

Excellent hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff, nice location. Make sure to ask for a room where you won't be kept awake by the ventilation system located at the inner court which in turn acts as a loudspeaker box unfortunately... The system operates until midnight approximately and only then calm returns.

Nice hotel, a little disjointed as the newer buildings and old don’t really complement each other. Tower bar is nice, great cocktails and views Ask for a room that is not near the fire doors. Breakfast was nice but really busy and restock/refresh was slow. Would stay again

Great hotel, but they charged me for two nights instead of one (some extra “deposit”), without sending me a refund till this very moment. When I asked a “Carina”, she answered in a very rude manner and said: “I have a lot of important things to do”. Classy lady. Anyway, next stop: “bund de Verwaltung”. Peace.

Location is great. Rooms are not exactly what you pay. House keeping is knocking door every 10 minutes after 9 am even you put "do not disturb"

My hotel of choice in Hamburg. I love the Nautic rooms and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The only slight downside on my recent stay is that Willi’s Bar has very restricted opening times and didn’t open until 6pm on the Friday we arrived.

A great affordable spot right on the harbour. The staff were kind enough to humour my terrible attempts at German. Rooms are smart and comfortable. The restaurant and bar were excellent.

Amazing meal. Limited menu, but based what we had (mixed starter & pork cutlet) I'd try any dish.

Staff was very nice. Breakfast was €20 per person! No kettle and air condition in the room. Deposit was more then half price of amount we paid(240 from 430)And time to get it back might take even up to 2weeks! Nice location, but def not 5star hotel standards!

Nice hotel, at a great place - the view is fantastic, the hotel is close to the harbor and where tourists want to be. Also public transport is not far. The rooms are neat, clean and quite. Everything one wants to have on a business trip, but also great for leisure travelling. Highly recommended!

This review is for the restaurant/bar not the hotel itself. The interior of this restaurant is nicely done with a nice view over the St.Pauli Piers. Prices are higher then the places near the hotel, but I guess that’s the price you need to pay to enjoy the views 😁 Service needs improvement!! It wasn’t the worst but definitely wasn’t the best one!

Hotel itself was nice and well located at the city center. It is a big hotel and the layout a bit confusing. Our room was quite small. The pillow was dreadful - way too thin. We chose not to have breakfast there, because 24 Euros per person is just too much.

The hotel lives from the charm of the past and the attractive location. The hotel is currently in poor condition, the rooms are unclean. In our case, the shower head in the bathroom was broken and the water drain didn't work. There are not enough parking spaces available, and the search for parking spaces in the adjacent residential area is very time-consuming. The hotel does not have air conditioning. In the rooms facing the inner courtyard, you are disturbed by technical, loud noises (air conditioning in the main building or compressors) all night.

A very good hotel, right by the port of Hamburg and only five minutes from the Reeperbahn. The food is just as good as the staff is friendly. I will stay here again on my next visit to Hamburg or in the partner hotel "Empire Riverside".

Not worth for the oster brunch!!! Coffee was as good as at the gas station. No choice for drinks. Meat was good. Veggies too but cooked with too much fat. Fish was blaaa. dessert just gross tasteless and too sweet. Just get a drink on the terrace instead!

Top address in Hamburg for your business trip or a city break. What you will enjoy is the maritime flair with some amazing exhibits in the showcases spread throughout the hotel. Breakfast is bombastic - everything you can imagine wanting to eat in the morning with very attentive staff. Light and airy rooms with amazing views of the waterfront. Easy access to trams and subway for your cross-city excursions. Tip: Get a day ticket for HVV (local transport organisation), hop on a ferry and enjoy a harbour cruise for a quarter of the price the commercial tour companies ask you for. Make sure you visit the Tower Bar for a knock-out view over Hamburg harbour. Eat in, or visit the dozens of local restaurants in the Portuguese Quarter.

Nice hotel. It's divided on two parts. Rooftop bar has magnificent views. Breakfast is good, but not amazing.

As the other made comments, it is better to check well when you book. There is a new building and the room has no free tea or coffee service. The original building is nice. The location is very convenient.

Excellent location, great breakfast and the rooms have lovely little details. I was tempted to nick the towels. Depending on the location the view is either breathtaking or the parking lot.

Good place overall but the room was fairly warm and the single beds moved quite a bit. Not the best nights I had.

I was in the Elbkuppel room for a team event. This is an amazing place to be for the views of the river and ferry terminals and to see all other boats. Food was ok. The coffee was infact very good 😊👍. The small balcony made it even more special for the timeless views of the Kohlbrandbrücke, Hafen, Elbphilharmonie and all other amazing things near by. The location is connected to rest of the city with the Ferry terminal and the metro station in the neighborhood.

Excellent location overseeing the Harbour, close proximity to the train station, and in the city centre. Perfect for tourists and visitors.. definitely coming back!
