Best option in Harare right now. Great food

The environment literally feels like Mozambique, really appreciated the wall art. The service was really efficient, food came in good time. The food was rich in flavors, HOWEVER the quarter chicken was ridiculously small and I was surprised that they didn't serve with a side salad, disappointing. The plate was just bare. For the rump we requested for medium rare but it came well done...it's the little things. The prawns were the hit of the night, highly recommended as well as the coconut rice.

Best restaurant in Harare! Service is fast and reliable. Food are next level and plenty options to choose from. Atmosphere is nice and it’s full most of days. Call before going to book a table. I’ll come back here again next time. Top mark!

It's a nice place Children friendly. Had the sea food platter and my friend had the spare ribs. The spare ribs were mouth watering. The sea food platter not so much. Prawns were not that fresh. Price not matching the platter

It’s a chilled environment with tasty food.

The genuine taste of Mozambique. Dined there for the first time and have no regrets at all. Wide menu to choose from, wonderful atmosphere and excellent service from Lolo. Thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and prawn combo. The place is very popular and you need to book ahead.

Further to my first review for those who may have read it before updating here and following contact made by the team from Mozambik after some minor setbacks, Mozambik gave my family and I a second chance and the opportunity to redeem themselves and to be honest, wow!!! Mozambik really went over an above the call of duty delivering an all round Mozambique experience with the taste of Mozambique in a tranquil surrounding near the pool which gives you that feeling of being on holiday in a resort near the ocean. Our meal last night was to die for, bursting with flavours while the service was once again really good, if not a 100 times better, lead by Manager Bryn. As a whole, every plate was top notch and everyone involved in delivering such an outstanding meal deserves a round of PumPums. With a safe and exciting play areas for the kids and lots of activities for them to choose from, Mozambik Honeybear becomes our top highly recommended family restaurant to visit. Well done Guys, I cannot fault the food and service from last night which makes my family and I want to return as soon as possible.

Honestly my top 5 favorite restaurants in Harare. I have visited multiple times and have never been disappointed. Prices are fair and quality is guaranteed. I love the ‘Smokey’ notes in their mashed potatoes it’s my favorite side, their coconut rice is a fan favorite too. As for which protein to choose? You can choose any they are all really tasty from the prawns to the beef trichado. I would recommend going through the whole menu 3)

Lively and chatty vibe, with friendly and high energy staff that give the place a feel-good vibe. The pricing is great with a fair selection of well prepared cocktails. Definitely a place to lookout for as it give you this sense of continued improvement.

The food was a bit too exotic for me. The guy who served us was super helpful, we literally had to ask what was in each and every one of the dishes and he took us through everything until we made our decision. But turns out, I am too African for some of these foods... Lol The Atmosphere was great until someone started smoking

It's not a clean place. The female waiting staff is rude . They shout unnecessarily. I made reservations via dineplan and confirmed using the app a day before our scheduled time. When we got there we were told we had no reservation. I showed them the email correspondence and they insisted we were meant to call and not make reservations via dineplan. The waiting staff was not very attentive. . The food was OK.

Great place and good in Harare. Mozambique inspired food which was plenty and scrumptious! Great service by Mayi! The artist and best waiter at the place. Look after him! A+

Great food. Good service from friendly and efficient staff. Reasonably priced...expecially the wine. Unfortunately the pool which is right by your tables is a disaster. On Sunday lunch it was full of screaming kids .... Will not go back for lunch unless that changes.

We were there on Monday and had our dinner with my husband. We liked our dishes (fish and calamari) but not chips. In both dishes they were not cooked, potato was raw. The staff is very friendly and polite. And the place is very nice and beautiful and is suitable for visiting with kids.

Been here twice and their food is sooo delicious 😋 and service is very good. One family member has a seafood allergy but he loved the steak and chicken and he didn’t have a reaction so the chefs are obviously very careful in food preparation.

Great ambience! Food is really scrumptious, reasonable and great portion sizes Presentation of the food lacked a bit. Slightly boring... Our waiter Andy was fantastic!! Manager Solly, great people skills!! Not many menu items cater for special dietary requirements, sadly

Great place with fun staff and amazing food. Shame they don’t have mocktails. Also they’re still trying to sort things out. Just make sure you reserve by phone since it gets very busy.

Atmosphere is vibrant and alive, service was friendly with great humour, food order took slightly longer than most establishments but the quality of food made it worth the wait.

Food was just delicious enjoyed every bite service is a bit slow as it's a new restaurant no network so make sure you're carrying cash as card machine didn't work

Excellent food and amazing service. Solly was amazing the 2 times we dined at Mozambik! Definitely recommend highly for great food and service!

Ordered a hake and chips, came with a tiny portion of chips.. chips were okay, fish was bland and portion sizes completely unsatisfactory for the price, no condiments/no lemon for the fish. Very disappointed. Also ordered piri piri giblets, came cooked to hell and gone so had very little flavour beyond crisp - not in piri piri but some mild flavoured curry sauce. Girls ordered some strawberry daiquiris, seems they use the typical box stuff but tasted very watered down. Chicken kebabs were fantastic but overall a disappointing experience. Expect slow service and lost orders - we had to re order drinks multiple times throughout the evening. On the positive the kid space is really good. Converted tennis court makes for a nice big secure play area.
