This is one of the best Lodges my wife and l stayed at in the whole of Harare. The owners are very warm and welcoming. The establishment has very friendly staff that are always available to assist if need be. The cooking is by far the best in town with fresh produce and an excellent chef in the kitchen. The Lodge is child friendly too. I would highly recommend this gem of a place. It was so good l stayed at this establishment twice and most definitely would be coming back again on my next visit to Harare.

This upmarket boutique hotel in Zimbabwe is an absolute gem! I have stayed here many times and will not stay anywhere else in Zim. The place is stunning, clean and well maintained. Great food too, but most importantly, the hosts make it the best hotel by giving you the warmest welcome and are always friendly and helpful! Book early as this place is almost always fully booked!

Ballantine Lodges is a warm and wonderful respite in the city. Shirley and her family make you feel at home in this beautifully decorated place that overlooks a gorgeous garden and pool. All the staff is amazing - friendly, caring and professional. We had dinner on the premises every night and they serve some of the best food (if not the best food) we had in Harare. We had such a wonderful time that we returned 3 times in a month! Thank you Shirley and family!

Fantastic reception , conveniently located , great environment which caters for both leisure and business . Food is amazing , chef’s on top of their game with those hot meals .

Was really not great, the fact that we had no choice of supper and definitely was not my best plate of food I was not impressed. Also not having a small fridge in the room is a problem. Where does one keep their stuff? Honestly its not worth the price that is charged!

All the staff went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. Excellent menu.
