Went there for a prebirthday dinner, and it was a fine experience. The restaurant wasn't that busy on a Saturday night, and I loved the illumination. The lights were a point of interest for a change, of course. The food was fine, but remarkable and worthy of noting were the sticky wings, the pork in sweet sauce, the french fries, and the meat balls - it was a divine experience. What was disappointing was the absence of hot beverages. Winter dining is always pleasant with hot beverages (my opinion). I hope they improve on that, but otherwise, a fine experience in my view. I'd love to call again!

Hometown is an upmarket restrobar in the affluent area of Borrowdale in Harare. Bare walls, traditional mats and plush leather furniture give it a dual personality that makes it perfect for a quick meal/coffee, or a night out in a lounge environment. The staff is attentive and helpful, giving menu suggestions and drink options. The bar is fully stocked from local beers and cordials, to high end wines, whiskeys and so forth. The manager/owner Dimitri is friendly and always on-hand to give his patrons that extra bit of attention. On this day, I had the Memphis Burger with a side of chips. The patty was juicy, thick and well-seasoned with flavour staying constant right down to the centre. The chips were crispy and fresh with a balanced seasoning and a dipping sauce too. Beers were ice cold and the pricing was fair given the current environment in Zim.

We popped in for post lunch drinks. The place was not busy at that time of day on a Saturday which was fine by us. I just had a solitary tequila sunrise. It was ok, but would have been better if they had used orange juice instead of Mazoe orange crush (cordial).

It's a good place to have a drink. The vibe is great, particularly on Friday nights when they have an awesome old-school music session. However, the place is on the small side, so seating can be a challenge to get.

The last time I was here was in 2018 and I feel it had a better vibe and aesthetic then than it does now. The burgers were decent and juicy but little else to speak of.

The food is hands down the best BBQ around! Every dish is meticulously made with fresh homegrown ingredients, and the portions are very generous. The cocktails are to die for, made with Italian syrups and fruit purées. Weekend evenings are just lit, with some of the best DJs rotating on the decks. A must visit every time I’m in town.

Yummy yummy yummy!!! Went out with my bestfriend and we had do much fun,there was an amazing vibe on a Thursday night...what they call thirsty Thursday. The DJ was great and I ordered Taco sliders (first pic) and my friend ordered a chicken quesadilla.

Terrible food, terrible service. The meat was frozen they attempted to reheat it but it was ice cold in the middle. Only go here if you feel like wasting your money!

Had mojitos earlier today. Possibly the worst mojito I’ve ever had. It tasted like lemon and mint water and on top of which it took 25mins to make it. Upon making a complaint, the waiter Ryan was not helpful at all and slyly rude. Looking at other past comments, the establishment has not improved on their cocktails and service over the years. Very sad.

For perfect dining options, this is one of the best places to be.

The staff is very friendly. Once you become a regular,they treat you like family. They have amazing burgers and wings (still yet to try their other food). The music is always a vibe as they have a rotation of djs from Wednesday to Sunday with the likes of Confie and MadeHerBelieve keeping the guests entertained..

Affordable drinks, good food, indoor and outdoor sitting areas, good DJ and always a great crowd. Great place to meet up for a night out in Harare. No cover charge at the door typically as well. VIP section quite small but also cut off from the party so not really worth it.

The service was ridiculously slow and they didn't have wine. The food and the vibe are more than amazing!

Pretty relaxed in the afternoon. Enjoyed that it wasn't crowded and the food was fine. Portions not as generous as I would've liked but that's a personal preference. (Pictured in the review is the Pulled Pork which comes with chips and a salad)
