Beautiful restaurant in the Mount Pleasant area. Excellent food and beverage with fantastic service. A bit on the pricey side but well worth every cent. Giving this a five out of five. Strongly recommend it.

The decor here is absolutely stunning! So much thought has gone into the details and it shows, a fun vintage for an artistic person particularly. The food is equally good definitely worth the price. I highly recommend their bacon and mushroom pasta, just so so good. Pork schnitzel however is at your own risk😅, it was a little too dry for my liking.

If perfection was a place, Alo Alo would be it. I have absolutely no complaints. The service was top notch from the welcome to the moment we left and our waiter Kumbirayi was especially friendly and very helpful. We visited this place on the 23rd of July for a birthday lunch as a party of ten and what a wonderful way to spend the day. The food was in very generous portions, fast prepared and very very very delicious. For the birthday girl, they even had a complimentary dessert and not just a lame looking last minute thing but I'm talking several layers of icecream presented neatly and beautifully. Now to the atmosphere. Their instagram page does not do the place justice. You want a quiet, unique out of this world place. Alo alo is just the place to visit. It is clearly a cat loving restaurant and I just loved what they did with all the decorations, makes you regard that cat association with old single bored ladies as utter nonsense! At this point there isn't more I could say that would do the place justice. A must visit. And a 5 star in all departments.

Amazing place absolutely love it. The greenery around makes everything hit different. For me that glass of house wine for $3 hit different after a long day at work. It's such a fresh breath of air. I loved the chicken salad, bowl was huge enough I was so full couldn't order anything else. The chicken salad is also very unique to them, never had such a salad anywhere else Recently had their steak it was amazing

Well deserved 5 stars!! It’s really worth the money. It’s great for couples and small groups for very special occasions. The menu is great and very accommodating. I recommend you come after dark because it really looks beautiful then. Tons of parking and great service. It’s also a bit pricey but worth it.

My wife and friend raved about the pork chops, while my pasta with mushroom cream sauce was both tasty and piping hot! Nice wine selection and shandies. A very special evening.

I couldn't believe I was in Zimbabwe. This restaurant could easily be ranked highly in any country. Not only was the food delicious but beautifully presented too. Considering what we ate and drank, we were pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived. A lovely place to spend an evening with family and friends.

Delicious lunch, had the lamb curry which melted in the mouth. Waiters are on point, friendly fast and knowledgeable. Pleasant spot for Lunch. Extensive menu and good selection of wines on offer. Bit noisy sitting inside if the Restaurant is full, makes it difficult to have a conversation.

Alo Alo is always a treat for us and only second to one other restaurant in my books. We were greeted by friendly staff ans ushered to a child-friendly section of the restaurant as we had our toddler. However, that's about as child-friendly as it got for our night out with them. The food was well prepared and served in a timely fashion, (hot, well plated & garnished and generous portions). Expect to spend nearer to/ North of USD100.00 for 2 (excl wine)

This was a lovely introduction to Zimbabwe. Everyone was happy with their meals. The service was exceptional and the restaurant itself is lovely. You should reserve a spot in the garden. You will not regret it

Been here three times and I’d say all experiences have been average. Service is good but food is average. Lamp shack could use slightly more seasoning for me but that gem-squash is sensational! Very tasty

Excellent atmosphere but I would not call it a fine dining experience, portions were huge and food was okay. Their speciality dish, the lamb shank, was extremely chewy and could have been down to that particular piece. Mains were brought out before the starter plates were removed, had to move them from the place setting myself. The ambience is probably what keeps people going back

Lots of menu choices...very good ambience...I wish they'd give more than one piece of bread and then give you like 6 pieces of butter...my suggestion would be to leave a small basket of bread per table....I had the prawn curry which was pretty good....I really suggest the Hake Florentine....staff is friendly....fish fingers were enjoyed by my young son

Dropped by for a quick to-go lunch. Had a triple decker sandwich which was perfectly toasted. Simple, great go to sandwich. Was packed really well and looked very fresh. Was kind of disappointed that their sandwich selection doesn’t come with fries. Great fine dining location will be back for a sit in encounter.

Their portions are big, whatever you get you'll leave here full and satisfied. The menu has a wide range I've been here a number of times and I've never had the same thing twice. One of the best lunch and dinner spots in town. Ideal for families, birthdays and even romantic dinners. I can't really fault though I think they can improve a bit and be an even greater place.
