There are cafés and then there is Café Pistachio. My go to place for phenomenal and fresh cake (go with carrot you can't go wrong). Their meals use the freshest ingredients and the plating is world class. Whether it's a breakfast, brunch, lunch or a grab and go; do yourself a favour and pop in. You won't be disappointed

The food is great & specially love the freshly squeezed fruit juices they have. The breakfast is absolutely excellent and the service that the staff gives is top notch. It tends to get a little crowded as it is a very popular spot to dine in Harare ,so if you want to have a nice spot to sit in for breakfast you're better off reserving a table. The location is great as well, for after a nice breakfast tea or lunch, you are spoiled for choice in the number of clothing stores, nail bars and spas situated in close proximity to the cafés #HarareCafes #FoodieDairies

The food is really great but the waiter I've had is condescending and will leave you midway to go serve a white person. This has happened twice. I dont know how I've gotten that man twice in a row. Just last Friday we asked for the bill but whilst waiting for the bill he served some white guests, they ate, he gave them their bill and they paid before we got our bill! We asked for it 3 times! The 4 stars are solely for the food

The food here is fantastic, the presentation of the food even more amazing!! I had breakfast with my friends and sister. It has outdoor sitting also. The staff were nice and polite. I had a great time.

Had the charcoal activated charcoal cappuccino and the bran muffin. The cappuccino tasted like any other regular cappuccino. The only problem was that it was warm. The muffin was great.

It’s a warm cafe tucked in Sam Levi’s village as you walk through it. The ambience is really inviting. We had coffee,snicker bar and croissant. Coffee was good though not the right temperature. Snicker bar I won’t recommend and croissant was very good. Customer service was very good. I would definitely visit again.

Everything here is SO DELICIOUS! I especially appreciate the attention to detail and presentation. It is probably one of the more expensive dining experiences in Harare, but it's definitely a place to try out.

Really loved this place. I had the avocado, chicken and feta toastie. It was delicious! Everyone in our table enjoyed their food. The presentation definitely stood out for us.. The food just looked beautiful. The staff was very friendly and the ambience in general is in the middle of a mall courtyard. Great for a solo meal or with friends.

I’d like to preface this review by saying that this may not have been the best choice for me to order because I have enjoyed lunch here multiple times but this was my first time getting breakfast and unfortunately the eggs Benedict with the spinach and tomatoe steak was very underwhelming. I ordered added avocado and it was slightly underripe which didn’t make it pleasant to eat so I left it but still had to pay for it. No complaints on the iced chai though :) I would go back again and order something different

Amazing service ,and delectable food

A Harare favourite. Delicious food with amazing flavours and a unique touch to almost every single dish. Lovely ambience too. The perfect prawn pasta with pesto sauce is my absolute fav here.

Very poor service. The owner literally yelled at us when we requested for our change. She seemed racially discriminatory. we thought she'd run aroundlike she did for the other patrons who wanted change. She made such a scene. I was humiliated and left. I've never get so belittled for just requesting for change.

Amazing food presentation

A very pleasant and popular Restaurant in Sam Levy’s Village. Food is elegantly presented, the staff are very attentive and the food is divine, well worth a visit.

I had their vietnamese wraps which comes with a really flavourful sauce - pleasant enough. However, they are inconsistent with their service and food. Cheesy beef Burgers are supposed to come with onion rings on top and with carmelized onion inside (as per menu), however, the burger we ordered did not come with these. When we asked this to be changed we were given weary looking onion rings on top and carmelized onions tossed on the side, did not look fresh at all. We sent the burger back a second time and only then did we get carmelized onions INSIDE the burger and fresh onion rings on top of the burger, as per the menu - which means they were not prioritizing customer service and were not apologetic about it. Otherwise, a pleasant and well decorated place.

I was charged $17 for their posh petite breakfast which consisted of a sliver of smoked salmon, one poached egg and one avocado. Grilled asparagus was also supposed to be included, but they subbed it for soggy, cold button mushrooms without notice. So disappointed and will not be visiting again.

Loved that they have millionaire shortbread and it's made well too. The cafe is quite on the pricey side, 8 USD for a slice of cake compared to 4 USD at other really good cafés with great cakes.

We had breakfast and coffee catch up. Delicious breakfast, attentive waiter as we changed a few things on our plate and they were very accommodating.

Went for drinks. Had a Freezo for the first time it was refreshing after experiencing the hot weather outside. Excellent service very convenient. You can use your international visa card for transactions. I will definitely recommend others and I will be back.

Hands down the best meals in Harare! Great location in Borrowdale Village. It can get really busy here over lunch time so if you're going with a group I suggest booking ahead. The meals are always delicious and although not standardised (some days you might get eggplant, some days cauliflower etc) they always strive to use the freshest and best ingredients and the result is a wonderful, even better than home cooked meal! The coffee is also great. :) Service is the only thing that can sometimes be slow from the waiters side.

The food here is good and so is the coffee. The service is okay, although some staff were a bit rude as we had sat down for 10 minutes during a non- busy period and were not served. The cleanliness of the cafe could be a lot better. There were pieces of bread lying around and the tables could use a wipe down. The owner, could use a bit more discretion in her approach. She was quite loud in scolding her staff in front of us and also spoke very loudly about her child having diarrhea as she handled food. This was not very pleasant to listen to as we were eating our meal. I'd come back as the food and portions were good but unfortunately it wasn't the most welcoming environment.

So I was in Harare for a few days, and as a breakfast person I was determined to go to the best place in Harare. And so on Saturday morning I came here for breakfast, and let me tell you - I didn't want to leave. We had: 1.Tantalising Filter Coffee 2. A French croissant 3. A soulful Paw Paw and muesli Bowl 4. A scrumptious bran muffin 5. A chocolate cake for takeaway. All I can say is that I will be back for more. This breakfast for the 2 of us costed us USD10. Which is next to nothing, for all that amazingness.
