This is affordable and therefore in great demand. Parking is secure. Once you are in your 'standard' room, which is a double bed 🛌 with toilet and shower 🚿 and fitted with a TV (there was no remote, but you get to watch the state run ZBC channel if you can navigate through the TV functions), a kettle to boil 💧 water for tea or coffee ☕ and a small fridge. It is not spacious so seems a bit cramped but it will do. It does seem to show signs of wear and tear but hospitality does a good cleaning job. An airport shuttle service is available.

You get what you pay for at Palace Guest Lodge, its not the best of the best but its good value for money. Its a very nice and well put together. There is a very beautiful garden as well. The staff are helpful and polite! And I enjoy the food here too. But it doesnt always feel very safe and secure if I'm being honest because there is no security on the premises and no burglar proofing on the windows. And it would also be good if they offered a paid laundry service.

I paid $60 for a room that had a broken toilet they had to cut the water supply to make it quiet.The bedding was not clean, the ceilings are mouldy and they look as if they will fall anytime.The place has potential but the owners need to start treating it like a business and take people seriously. The rooms need proper attention.

The beds could be improved to more comfortable beds and the tiles could be improved a little.

Your staff members stole my wallet. I forgot it on the 9th of August and came back on the 10th but they refused to have found it cleaning. There was money and my IDs inside.

The Palace guest is average. Standard rooms have no cupboards to hang clothes. The good thing is the palace is quiet and hot is available. It will be good if they fix their shower heads.

Easy booking but I didn’t enjoy the room i got this time -1 no bathing towels, tissues and TV wasn’t working in addition to their room phone ☎️. I ended going to the reception several times imagine with light showers on

The rooms are nice, but drying towels, fans or air conditioner and mops was missing and also the TV doesn't have a remote and it only shows two channels

Very disappointed with customer care experience. I phoned on the 27th March for airport pick up on the 29th as I was provisionally booked at their place for 7days, they said its absolutely fine and they even took my name so that I could identify them easy. Arriving at the airport there was no sign of them. Can't trust them again

The place was noise free with clean environment and good customer service. The WIFI service was excellent.

It's a good lodge, clean and tidy with friendly staff. The food is good. Close to the city centre.

Otherwise all good I am staying here from last one week And I am very happy here. I advised to my friends who are coming here in zim visit from my nation please come and stay here . Palace place is a whole experience. They try to ensure their guests are well taken care of. Receptionists are always very nice and accommodative. It has a nice homely feel for sure and quite affordable vs competitors.

Nice joint to crash especially for partners...also useful for a detour on a business trip. Conveniently located near a shopping center and the CBD of Harare and surrounded by restaurants and leisure joints in close proximity.

Was not impressed with their front office person. I enquired on phone and sent message so they could send me what they offer. They did not respond I had to drive there. Their rooms are decent and they offer meals at a reasonable prize. The garden could do with some work to improve views

I currently in the executive suite and my room isn’t well cleaned, the bedding is worn out, no tea facilities, I had to ask for a glass and there is no microwave, I would expect more from an Executive Suite. If this was another country I’d ask for a refund and go elsewhere.

The service can be greatly improved. I believe they can do better by training their staff in better customer care. The rooms were alright but bedding should be changed every time a guest leaves so that new guest has new bedding. Wi-Fi. The shared bathrooms could use a little more attention. Otherwise it's a nice place to get away.
