The worst site to buy groceries for your family in Zimbabwe from overseas, I bought groceries for my family worth $95 through their online platform, imagine my family was supposed to get 30 various grocery items but unfortunately they only got 10 items out of 30. I don't know if it's corruption within their operations or what but whatever it is don't ever buy groceries online for your loved ones using Pick and Pay. I used sites like Ok mart what you buy is what they get.

Great shopping experience and till service is quite fast … I guess that is because it is often crowded so they have no real choice lol. I like going there to use the bank - Banc ABC and the queue there is often shorter than most ATMs and bank queues in town so that's great

Got there needing to by a pack of smokes, teller says he has no change for a Five. He advises me to put my money in the Ecocash wallet at the service counter there. I get to their service counter and wait a good twenty minutes or so while they serve ONE customer... Finally my turn... Teller says He doesn't have money to put in my wallet... Wasted my time!

Incredibly slow moving queues! The shop and everything is just perfect, spacious and well lit, with plenty variety of products to pick from. However the till operators/process is very very slow, despite having many operators. I don't recommend if you are in a rush and looking for something to grab and go. Rather go when you have lots of time to spare. Overall, I recommend shopping here.

Great wide range of products, friendly staff, clean environment

This place offers an incredibly simple shopping experience. To summarize the customer care there, I say that it is splendid. It is quite busy on Saturday afternoons but it is nothing that would bother a general shopper that much. I would recommend that they widen their isles a bit for more room for passing by other customers and trolleys. Aside frome that, their chilled drinks go perfectly with their bakery section.

I enjoyed my early Christmas shopping. There was no congestion within the shop and the parking area. The shopping experience was calm. The shop is well stocked with a range and variety of goods and products to choose from. The wide aisles in between shelves complimented by the favourable temperatures from the well tuned air conditioning system motivates any shopper to freely move around the shop and stay longer to double check the shopping list.

Quite terrific, a bit seperated from the rest of Avondale but the service is okay. A wide variety of goods, just like a supermarket should have. I haven't had much luck with cooked stuff there though. I've bought stuff that had gone bad and sometimes I see bad fruit among the stalls. I really wish they could improve this and do better there.

Clean. Plenty parking. Good for basics. Off peak hours are best for stress free shopping. Peak hours can be rather cramped 🙈. Their aisles are rather narrow. Otherwise. Its good.

The shop is neat. Items neatly packed. Prices are fair. Packing is available though getting to the shop is a nightmare as there are potholes from main road.

One of the few supermarkets still requiring a face mask at the door, so if you don't have one, go elsewhere so you won't waste your time. Bon Marche is a few hundred yards away

I was disappointed with the food I was served at Pick n Pay Avondale's deli during lunch hour. I ordered rice and mince, but halfway through eating, I realized that the rice was stale. Despite only being 'resteammed,' it gave me diarrhoea. The mince meat was also insipid. When I tried to call the store to let them know about the issue, nobody answered. I was left wondering whether the management checks what the chefs are making. This experience was a letdown since Pick n Pay used to sell good food at the deli. However, based on this experience, it seems like it's all garbage now. Perhaps they need to hire new chefs.
