We had a great little trip here today. Took the kids & had lunch at The Rose restaurant (nice setting though a little pricey). Then with some time to kill we had a wander around the nursery, taking in the pet store & bought a few groceries at Eskbank Farm Shop. A pretty good selection of plants with fruit trees & herbs. Don't let kids play on the neglected slide & jungle gym...a little investment from the owners in that regard wouldn't go amiss & would increase the attraction to an otherwise lovely set up.

This nursery used to be a playground for me, filled with beautiful rose gardens, interesting stores like pet shops, stationery shops and the sort... it was saddening to see how time had affected it. Many of the stores, including the cafe I used to frequent had been shut down.

Their vegetables are always fresh and well priced. Vegetable seedlings always grown well. Offered good advice on flowers too

My spouse and recently visited this nursery to get a few more creepers for our driveway fence. What should have been a quick stop ended up being a much longer visit as I got distracted by the variety of plants available as well as the impressive amount of pots and vases they had in stock. Checkout was digital (barcode scanner) so was extremely fast and they accepted swipe! 10/10 will go again very soon.

Use the Eskbank fruit and veg section. Prices -as in most places selling these commodities- continue to increase but at a lower rate than supermarkets. Staff helpful and friendly.

Lovely place. I often find good quality seedlings for vegetables in season, some herbs, flowers and fruit trees. There's also a fruit and veg shop which I always find pleasant and reasonably priced, a restaurant, hair salon, small play area for kids, an aquarium, bird sanctuary and a book&gift shop. Enjoy visiting or buying from this serene place:)

One of the quitest and most serene places around Mount Pleasant where greens are sold. Nested within its environs is a coffee shop, vegetable market, all types of indoor and outdoor plants are sold.
