Me and my girlfriend stayed here for the night somewhere in the mid of November to recharge from our busy life. Let me try to answer the important question first...If you are into ghosts this might not be the place for you. During the entirety of the night we did not hear any rattling of chains or knocking on the walls. Although this could have been because we were fast asleep on the terrific beds. The castle itself was really something to behold. Especially from the driveway, when it is already dark outside. We tried to take a few pictures but the camera was not able to do justice to the sight. The rooms were a bit small, however one could argue that this only adds to the feeling of overall cosiness. The following day we took a hike in the neighboring forest, the route was provided by the staff. Overall a great getaway and great staff. 10/10 would stay again.

Surroundings were nice, Hotel rooms were cheap, no airco, cheap shower, double beds spread apart so you fall between them, nothing to protect from mosquitos.

Lovely, peaceful hidden treasure, a real treat when you are in the area...great menu, friendly staff, I had the fish salad for lunch, yummmm.. castle rooms are with original features. Clean, comfortable, modern but with old world charm. I highly recommend!

Castle Rooms are almost the same what u see in the pictures. Room and bedding is super clean. The showers and bathroom are outside. Showers are personal for each room but the toilet is common. But u get a personal Bathrobe and Pantofels to wear. The estate itself is big and picturesque. Staff very nice and friendly. Outside are is nice to sit and enjoy the scenery. In-house Restaurant is nice but a little on the higher side. Overall great value.

Beautiful castle and gardens. The hotel however is different. You have to be lucky with your room, there are not as shown as on site. Our room at the Hoeve was like normal hotelroom. We were unlucky and had no WiFi. In the rest of the hotel WiFi was quite bad.

We got because we received a voucher, it was by far the best choice they offered. Very nice staff, relaxing vibe, breakfast included. We had the choice to get a standard or a room in the castle, definitely worth it, dont be afraid of the bathroom outside your room you get your own one. Need to get there by car then you can also easily enjoy Amsterdam

One of the best hotels I've been to in a while. There rooms where great, the toilets where clean, the WiFi was good, the breakfast was amazing and there was a fan in the room in case it was hot at night.

Loved the setting, comfy rooms, coffee and tea facilities. Wifi only available in castle so not in the room in the annex, disappointing

Beautiful park around this hotel. Nice place to have walk and have a rest after working days. Historical place. Fine breakfast.

Beautiful venue, also great for a quick coffee and cake.

The inside is even more beautiful than the outside! We slept in the castle and not in the new building, shower and toilet were not in the room as it would destroy the originality of the castle (they were not allowed to do that) which wasn’t a problem at all for us. I rather sleep in a authentic room :-) You can hike outside and enjoy nature. For us the perfect spot and the price was low compared to everything else in the area, so we will be back!
