I took an appointment from Dr.Gould yesterday.I showed up half an hour before the appointment time since I was a new patient. I did the check-in and started to wait.I called couple minutes later and shared that Mr.Gould can see me for only annual check but not back pain issue which I scheduled the appointment due to his PERSONAL PREFERENCES! They also mentioned that they called me yesterday to let me know this CONFLICT! The registration offered me to take the pain pills and take another appointment possible 3-4 days late. Image that the patient shows up with the symptoms may lead the heart attack and you give the same advice. This is ridiculous! This approach is inhuman! Right after I left from this location, I called the Memorial City location and I took an appointment from another doctor and got seen in two hours for my back pain issue. I expressed my experience with the Dr.Nyugen and she was shocked too! I tired to call the practice manager and talk however I could not reach.I asked the email communication however the front office shared that she does not have.I asked them to transfer my call to her office phone so I can leave a voice mail, they mentioned that she does not have it. Here are the questions. Is Memorial Hermann an institute which does assign email address to their staff? Their staff` office phone does not have the voice mail built up? There are no words to express my frustration with this location.

I was sent here for a last minute appointment needed when my regular doctor was unavailable. I would not recommend seeing Dr. Lillian Howard; she is the most dismissive doctor that I have ever encountered. She would cut me off after asking for my symptoms while coming to her own conclusions before I could even finish telling her the issue. Just short tempered, rude and unwelcoming with no help to offer. I basically paid for a 5-7minute interrogation and no ideas for a solution. I want my money back, and I will not see her again.

RUDE STAFFING! The only reason I come here is due to it being close to home, it’s in my network with insurance, and it’s easy to make appointments. But I have had a couple disagreements with the nurse here... I dislike how I would voice a concern and she made me sound like I did not know what I'm talking about. It's happened a couple of time and it's the same nurse. I also question the accuracy on their height measurement. I'm normally 5'6 but they ALWAYS record on my charts I'm 5'4. NOT TRUE! I have not shrunk two inches in the past 10 years. I had to tell her that it's not accurate but she looked at me as if I'm crazy. Said ok and still records the wrong measurements. All in all I like Dr. Holzman and she's really nice and thorough. I hope to continue coming here as long as she's still in my network. I just wish for a nicer nurse who listens better rather than arguing with patients who are voicing their concerns.

If your insurance allows you to skip referral from your family doctor, then skip going to Dr Gould. My company changed insurance, so forced to find a new Dr. He wouldn’t even prescribed medicine from last dr. He will not write a script for anything. Seems overly cautious to a fault and a basic waste of time.

Came here to get antibiotics for strep throat because my PCP was already fully booked, it was a Friday, and I didn't want to go to an urgent care place. My normal doctor is also a Memorial Hermann group doctor at another office and they setup the appointment for me. I arrived 20 minutes early, was seen promptly, and was out the door less than 30 mins after my scheduled appointment time. I was very happy with the medical assistant, Dr. Howard, and the staff at the front desk. Provided my billing isn't a complete disaster this will be the best experience I've had with a doctor's office since the 90s.

Don't call unless you want to be accused of abusing prescriptions! I tried to call today to make an appointment. Unfortunately, all of the scheduling lines were busy, so another lady picked up the phone. She stated that she could take down my information and have someone call me back. After I explained to her that I had injured a muscle in my neck, had been taking pain relievers prescribed by another doctor, and was concerned that there was more wrong that what could be fixed by the medication, she informed me that this office doesn't prescribe pain killers. I told her I wasn't necessarily looking for more pain medication, I just wanted a second opinion on what could be wrong. She then informed me that I should call somewhere else because they would not be prescribing me any pain medication, but she would give my information to someone to call me back anyway. No surprise here, but no one ever called me back.

The doctor was great and had some tests run for me. However, it took over a week to receive the results, and when I did, I got two conflicting results from two conflicting doctors. The receptionist said she would confirm which was correct and get back to me, and two weeks later I have still not heard a thing. I don't see the point in giving my money to a clinic that can't even fulfill its purpose of actually diagnosing the patient and communicating this to them.

I’ve been going here for a couple of years now and I’m very impressed with Dr. Holzman as well as the front office staff. Never any issues.

I had an exam here to prepare for a colonoscopy in two weeks, they set up the procedure at a different hospital and refused to send me the preparation kit for the procedure no matter how many times I asked. They were never straight forward with answers and said the same thing over and over again. I really needed this procedure for a long time and they didn’t care to even send the preparation. My pharmacy told me I needed to call my doctor because it was not in my name or date of birth in the state of Texas while the receptionist told me the pharmacy needs to call my doctor. I was able to get ahold of my doctor for maybe 30 seconds in which she said she doesn’t remember me and everything I was saying couldn't have been right. She also cut me off quite a few time and ended the conversation by telling me she would call me back, and what a shocker, she proceeded to not call me back. I called the next day explaining my situation was dire as well as that my doctor didn’t not call me back and she just responded with a shrug And told me the office hours. I asked if I needed to then cancel my procedure because my doctor refused to send me the preparation kit for it and she told me, again, the office hours. They never sent me home with any paper work stating anything but the preparation instructions and the bill for my procedure, not even a paper with my doctor’s name or appointment time. They got upset with me that I didn’t receive any paperwork from them and I feel they gave me an extremely hard time . I hope I never come back.

Horrible front office staff, I left this office in tears last time because I scheduled an online appointment the night before and the front desk gave me an attitude and acted inconvenienced by my online appointment. I was turned away and unable to be seen. What is the point of an online appointment portal if the staff gives you an attitude for using it? I love doctor Holzman but I will be finding a new doctor because of the front staff. Very unprofessional, I would find a new office if I were you.

UPDATE: So this location continues its reputation as the worst. It just so happens that as soon as I wrote this review the doctor decided to drop me as a patient without telling me. I only found out when I tried to refill my medication. So now I have no primary care provider. This is unbelievable. I guess instead of trying to make it right with their “patients” they find it easier to just cut ties all together. The new slogan for Memorial Hermann should be “PROFITS FIRST, PATIENT CARE ONLY WHEN CONVENIENT FOR US” This is by far the worst medical facility I have ever had the misfortune of being associated with. Patient care falls far down the list of their priorities. Never respond to refill requests. Charge the wrong amount and then immediately send you to collections without even a phone call. Worst customer service ever. Never ask how you are feeling, only how will you be paying.

Patient of Dr. Holzman. Doctor and staff have always been responsive and professional. I have recommended this office to several friends.

I have been Dr. Howard's patient for over 10 years and have never been disappointed with her medical care and her staff. They are top professionals with a caring heart. The building is always kept well maintained and super clean. Thank you Memorial Hermann Medical Group Cypress.

Such a phenomenal office! Front desk staff is very friendly and professional. Medical assistants are always kind. Dr. Holzman is amazing and very attentive to your concerns. Phlebotomist at the labs are very friendly and patient. Love the customer service from when you walk in to when you leave!
