Not sure where people are getting "clean" from? And not to be that person, but walking in the room it smelled bad which is typical for a hotel room. But the sheets had stains on them. and within 5 minutes of sitting in the bed, I had a roach crawling on me🤢

I am extremely disappointed in the customer service I received from the night staff working the front desk on June 21. There was an issue regarding a reservation made, an issue created from the misinformation given by a daytime staff. I called 7 times to the front desk and the call was never answered. I was only able to talk with the front desk after joining a 3 way call with the national office and the local hotel. The call ended without resolution to my situation that was created by the hotel. ?Sly? the hotel front desk ultimately continued to talk over me and ultimately hung up. The entire call was recorded by the national office and I was even thanked for not raising my voice or being disrespectful to the hotel staff. The fact that the hotel worker hung up was documented. I will be calling the general manager tomorrow.

I have NO IDEA how people can say this place is clean. It’s a filthy mess! Dirty! And they have bedbugs. I found one when were packing up to check out. Took it to the front deck and they would do nothing! I have travel my entire life and have never stayed in such a dump. We were traveling with a team. I would have never chose to stay here. Even the exterior is dirty. Old gross camper in the parking lot! Do not stay here.

The room was nice. Not overly lavish, but the king bed was so comfy. The check in staff, Megan, was kind and efficient at her job. The pool is small, but my kids still had a blast. The check out staff, Noel, was incredibly sweet. We rolled out of the hotel around 4 a.m. and he made sure that we had coffee and some breakfast for the road. The staff is what makes a place really nice to me and the staff here were great. Keep up the good work.

Very impressed with our stay in Quality Inn in Hays. Came in late, with no reservations, on a busy Saturday night but was greeted at the front desk with a pleasant smile and cordial greeting. Desk attendant set us up with the very last available room which turned out to be much more than we could have expected at such a late hour. Room was very clean, up to date and most importantly - quiet for the amount of people that were checked in that night. Morning breakfast was very well stocked, fresh and delicious and staff did a great job of keeping things clean for a large morning crowd. All in all we had a very pleasing experience and there is no question where we will prefer to stay when we pass though Hays again.

First off, I'd like to say the cost was what drew us to the place. It was inexpensive, and thankfully they had rooms available the same day. My main concern is that I expect a safe and welcoming hotel/motel, and I believe a main priority should be to create an ambience that feels like home or visiting a friend. With that said, here's my review: The locale wasn't my preference. They made it feel like we were going to steal something, which is probably a problem they've run into a lot. So, right away, it felt unwelcoming and unsafe. As a smoker, the outdoor area was definitely unwelcoming and definitely not very safe for a single woman standing outside late in the evening. They need to put a few benches or chairs out for a place to sit, since they expect people to smoke in designated areas. The rooms were fairly nice, definitely clean, and they had a few extras that I was pleased to see (makeup remover wipes, table for 2, nice fluffy pillows and comforter, etc). Though, the rooms need bigger coffee makers, for big coffee drinkers. Oh, and I believe it claimed an indoor pool and ice machine. I didn't check them out, so I can't comment on either (but both would be a bonus for anyone traveling in the summer). I doubt we'll stay there again, because we prefer places that we feel a twinge of regret to leave. But maybe if your out on business, and just need to sleep, this would be a good place to stop.

Positives include price, easy to find off i70, clean room with comfy beds and plenty of towels. In the negative category: the exterior and interior of building are in dire need of upgrades. It lacked an elevator, which is an accessibility issue. I did not feel all that safe and worried about the possibility of fire.

Hated every second of it. My bedding and pillows were full of stains and little black hairs everywhere. The smell Throughout the hotel was awful. They reuse the key card paper holders, which is very concerning. I book this hotel cause my kids wanted to swim in a pool on are stop for the night. They don't heat it, it was ice cold and the color of the water was off, Murky greenish color.

It’s fantastic. I was just here! I’ve been awake for 24 hours, on the end of a tour. Just tried checking in, and they “lost” our reservation. A trope as old as time. I would say more, but knowing that the MOD’s current life situation is the best it will ever get brings me an unrequited solace. I mean seriously. What a tragedy, spending the remaining waking moments of your life on earth, behind a desk, completing the menial tasks of losing reservations and turning away tired people crossing the country, just trying to sleep so that they can travel safely. This is it for you. You’ve reached the top of your arc. You had hope at one point in your life. What do you do now? Just wait to die? Yeah, honestly. Seems like the best bet.

I wanted a clean, easy, comfortable, quick stay for the night on my road trip and that's exactly what I got! I'm glad I had cash because their credit card reader was down, and the breakfast was pretty lackluster, but overall extremely happy with the staff and the room and the price!

The room was pretty disgusting. There was mold growing on the shower head and sink it didn't look like the bathroom was cleaned after the last guest checked out. The phone had no buttons on it and didn't work. We were given the wrong wifi password. The staff were nice.

Very nice. Clean, convenient. Breakfast was as good as any other hotel. The staff person was very accommodating and friendly. Not sure what others expect from an interstate highway hotel, but we found it excellent. It’s not right at the highway intersection, but very close. The only thing….they had recently had the carpets cleaned and the styrofoam spacers were still under the furniture legs….bit whatever! The carpet was clean!

The rooms are very clean, the pillows are fluffy and the staff is wonderful. That being said, I was disappointed in the pool! It was freezing and the heaters did not even turn on around the pool for lounging. It was miserable and half the reason why we chose the hotel in the first place. Minus the pool experience, everything else was great, even the hot breakfast.

Quality Inn is a great value for your money. The front desk staff, Nancy, was professional, kind, and courteous. She was happy to make accommodations when requested. Maria from the Housekeeping staff was equally kind and professional. The rooms were well kept and the hotel is nice.

We reserved a king and got a full, the main door is hanging on by one hinge, the parking lot is tiny (Def my fault for not looking into it more tho) and all the keys must be the same because we had another guest unlock the door and thankfully we had the door hook thing on but it scared us to death!! I'd pay $20 more for a better hotel next time.

The management of this property, is extremely kind and keeps this property clean and safe. I travel alone with just my dog, and even the parking lot and smoking area are well lit. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The rooms smell fresh and and you can tell they truly care for their property. I will be suggesting this place to my family as we have to travel back and forth alot for my terminal brother. It's nice to come here and just relax and get a good night's rest. Did I mention VERY QUIET. I do appreciate these folks, will be using this property from now on, as I have not found the other properties in Hays to be quite as accommodating no matter the pricetag.

If the goal is sleep I do not recommend. The comforter were thin and had the sheet like thing around them. The air-conditioning didn't get cold. Their toilet paper was so thin it felt like they might have invented half ply.

. When driving through Kansas, you will be short on options and long on miles. This place, while not new, was affordable, clean and convenient.

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Outdated but good for the money. Hot food choices for breakfast. A few restaurants in walking distance. Heated indoor pool. Friendly staff!!

Upon check in the room had food and trash on the floor from the previous guest and no toiletries. The only positive to this hotel was the girl that checked us in. She was VERY helpful and polite.
