Excellent service, great athmosphere and most importantly, delicious food! Especially the dumplings are top notch, we had two sets of dumplings (try the New School!) and two bun burgers, plus yummy crispy lotus roots. Cocktails and IPA were good too, portions are generous and we liked the idea to share the dishes (they’re designed to be shared). Both myself and my wife left satisfied and happy, will for sure return! :)

Place is awesome. A darkish themed calm environment with relaxed attitude with nice terrace outside. Service is awesome and a nice touch is a dinosaur queue numbering which is so brilliant. The food tastes also great. Best dumpling so far in Helsinki. They are not oily or too crisp, perfectly seasoned and looks as good as they look. Many options, even vegan ones, even for lunch.

Haven't yet managed to try many different things here, but I certainly will! Went here for lunch and enjoyed two different varieties of dumplings (chicken,pork and vegan options available), and both of them were great with non boring flavour palette. Very exciting and cool stuff, and a huge plus is that there was no heavy feeling after the lunch, so it is a good option for a hot summer day. The place has a terrace and a lot of space inside, fast service, friendly staff and great location.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food and cocktails. I was positively surprised by the many vegan options available. Loved the dumplings, but also the vegan bao burger.

I ordered Satay Pork Dumplings. They were everything you want in a dumpling: light and fluffy, plump and perfectly chewy, filled with tender pork, flavored with peanut sauce. Wonderful! My friends were equally happy with the Panfried Chicken, Pork Bao Bun and Pork Wonton Chilli. We decided Hills is great for small groups and we all look forward to returning.

This place was phenomenal! The food was so tasty, quick service and the staff were incredibly helpful, offering recommendations and helping me navigate my way through the menu. I had Lotus Root for starters and Chicken Dumplings as my main. Bonus points for serving Sapporo beer as well!

What a hidden gem! You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The dumplings are extremely flavorful, a mix of Chinese & Indian flavors - very unique. Don’t pass up the bao. Highly suggest making a reservation, especially on the weekend.

Great atmosphere and amazing food! I also recommend trying the drinks and the nutella dumplings!

The service was outstanding, and the dishes were prepared with evident care, resulting in delicious flavors. Our table was positioned near the entrance and staircase, where I experienced a recurring draft of cold air each time the door opened, given the chilly -10°C temperature outside. This issue appeared to stem from the hot air curtain, which doubles as a ceiling fan near the double doors, being turned off. Interestingly, this draft only seemed to affect me and not my dining companion seated across the table. Although this was a slight inconvenience, it did not detract from our overall positive experience. A possible improvement for the future would be to ensure the hot air curtain is operational.

Tasty dumplings! Took the all-in menu with a cocktail deink and the fried chicken and dumplings were definitely the winners. Good lunch or casual dinner place!

Very pleased with this restaurant. The dumplings, bao buns and bao burger were delicious. We grabbed the pan-fried chicken dumplings and pork chilli wontons, alongside with pork wonton buns and a chicken bao burger. Everything was superb and tasty. I tried not to lick the plates after. They also make a nice house-made lemonade available at the lunch buffet for customers. If you struggle to finish your food, they offer takeout boxes for customers which are great for tackling food waste. I enjoyed the leftover cabbage salad later in the evening at home. Atmosphere is also nice and modern, nothing crazy fancy, just lagom enough for a good dining experience. Staff is also friendly. Worth a try!

Henkilökunta oli mukavaa ja erittäin palvelualtista ❤️ Ruoka oli todella hyvää ja platterissa oli monia eri makuja. Suolaa olisin kaivannut dumplingseihin enemmän mutta toki sitä saa platterin mukana tulleella soijakastikkeella lisättyä. Miljöö oli rento. Wallbanger-drinkki oli todella hyvä 😋👌🏻

Ordered pan fried chicken dumplings and vegan dumplings curry, rice & salad. mama lemonade. Food is tasty as well the drink. It was first visit. Staffs are friendly. Good service 👍 recommended. It's a busy place better reserve table before you go. If table available you don't need reservations.

I visited this place one time with friends. We had chicken dumblings and fried chicken. The dumbing were very nice, but the chicken lacked herbs and flavours. The water served on the table was quite warm which i found a bit odd. The staff were friendly though. Prices are average i would say.

Great ambience, great food. The dumplings were freshly made and fried wontons were perfectly crispy. The chicken bao bun burger had the right amount of seasoning. Highly recommended.

A great place for casual dinner in central Helsinki! The sets are a very good value for money as I usually can’t even finish it all 😮‍💨 Nice selection of dumplings that you can basically combine/mix and match. You might need to book a table or wait a bit as they’re often full.

What an amazing place! There are so many options of dumplings to choose from and to suit different taste palettes. We had the pan fried Chijeu dumplings, chicken bao bun and a side of rice with cucumber slaw. Everything was so fresh and yum. The staff is very friendly and the place has overall calm vibes 🎶 lovely dinner!

Delicious dumplings and bao buns! We had the fish dumplings with curry sauce, chicken dumplings and also tofu portobello with rice and salad. All of them very tasty and very nicely served. Very fast actually. The staff is super friendly, helpful and we were happy :)

Absolutely perfect place for a lunch break and light snack, just beware - there are plenty other people knowing about this and booking seats ahead! I strongly recommend the 8 golden chicken wonton dumplings - such a good combination of a fresh meaty filling in a very crispy fried dumpling, and runny egg in the middle, just pure brilliance. As well the staff is extremely helpful, that the whole visit, nevertheless quick, was a blast. Well deserved 5 stars and another pin for favourite culinary place in Helsinki.

Delicious dumplings and buns. The fried chicken is also a must have. Came here for both lunch and dinner and was impressed both times.

I’m sorry for dropping this but I took my husband here for the first time after getting convinced by many five-star reviews. We ordered fried chicken. The chicken was a disaster. The crust is just so thick, full of breadcrums and dry like sand. Many pieces have still cartilage in them. One piece you can clearly see that it was cut through during the deep-frying process to check if the meat is done, and seemed like it was not done, they drop it down to oil again. That piece was heavily exposed to oil so it was like rubber. The taste of the chicken meat was bland. We also ordered chicken dumplings Kalevalan original style. It was very nicely presented, but also quite bland. The only thing I enjoyed was the side dish Bo la lot. The service was nice, no complaints about that.

We tried 3 times to get a table at this place, so highly recommend to book for a table in advance especially during weekends. The atmosphere was great, very well decorated with good vibes. The staffs were super friendly and welcoming. Good choices of different dumplings and cocktails to try. The food itself was good. Not exceptional but interesting. Good presentation. I would say it's a perfect place to hang out with some friends.

Delicious dumplings and great service from the Argentinean waiter. Price is fair for what's delivered. Interestingly, the house speciality was the only one I was underwhelmed by, while other options in the menu were awesome

The food is really tasty! You have lemonade, water and tea in free service. They don’t have formula including dumpling and sides, maybe the dumplings could be a little light if you are really hungry, so you have to order sides. Bonus : they give you a dinosaur for the table number
