Hintaan nähden karsea pettymys. Käytiin pikkujouluissa syömässä illallinen 23.11 2023. Otettiin listalta Waguen marmoripihvi 60 €/pihvi + lisukkeet. Saatiin cittarin pihvit jänteillä. Kypsyysasteet vähän sinne päin. Osan joutui palauttamaan lautaselle suun kautta ja vahingossa nielasin yhden jänneklöntin. Yök! En suosittele. Jos haluat hyvän pihvin, about samalla rahalla mene Stefanille. Palvelu pelasi ihan ok. Viinit loppu alkupalojen jälkeen ja kerran kysyttiin menun aikana perään.

Pienoinen pettymys. Odotin pihveihin erikoistuneelta paikalta enemmän. Pihvi oli kookas ja oikealla tavalla paistettu. Se vielä tarkistettiin yhdessä tarjoilijan kanssa ennen syömisen aloittamista. Lisukkeet (perunamuussi tms.) maksoivat ekstraa. Haluttu kastike kuului hintaan, samoin kuin muutama leivän palanen levitteen kera. Kastike ja pihvi olivat mitään sanomattomia, muussi kokonaisuuden parasta antia. Pystyn kotona pihvien kanssa samaan. Tosi hintava paikka! Vähemmälläkin euromäärällä olen saanut muualla maukkaampaa lihaa. Tarjoilu nopeaa ja asiallista. Plussana miellyttävä musiikkimaailma, joka näkyi myös telkkareissa mustavalkoisina filminpätkinä. Ketjuravintola on ketjuravintola, hyvässä ja pahassa.

We went with a friend. My hubby and the friend ordered steaks while I got a tuna. My tuna was good. And so was my hubby's NY Striploin (medium rare). Our friend's steak was unfortunately poorly cooked. It was raw in some places, despite him requesting for medium doneness. It was also sinewy in some areas. He refused to pay for the steak which the restaurant graciously acceded to. We also ordered the buffalo wings and garlic bread as starters. Garlic bread was very good. Buffalo wings were so-so.

First off The waiter did not offer me a lunch menu but I had read reviews so I asked for it, he responded with reciting the menu and saying €32. I requested to actually take a look at the menu and saw it was €29.50 which I thought was strange. My advice would be to check the bill as The waiter did not seem honest. Anyway, after this incident the waiter was polite and efficient. I ate from the lunch menu which was good value for money and the food was good. It was not an amazing steak but it was not expected as it was not the best cut of meat on the full menu. Salad bread and wine better than anticipated.

Isot odotukset! Ruoka hyvän makuista mutta jotain jäi puuttumaan. Alkupalana carpaccio osin hieman liian jäässä muuten hyvä, tartarpihvi erilainen mutta ok. Valkosipulileivät hyvät. Wagyu New York-pihvi oli hyvää mutta ei minun mielestä hintansa arvoista. Paistinperut sienillä oli jees! Kastiketta pihville/perunoille saisi olla enempi. Toki kastiketta sai ostaa lisää mutta..

Great aged steaks, with superb service, and great side dishes. The ages rib eye is really good and it comes with side sauce. We tried 3 of the side dishes and 3 sauces. Go for the spicy herbs and the pepper one. The apple pie desert is amazing. On weekends - book a table or you will find out you don't have where to eat ;)

The place has a good vibe of something american 50s or 60s. The staff is really friendly and the burger I ordered was surprisingly big than I expected and I stil manage to devour it. Good burger and I would be definitely be back to try some ribeye stake.

A good Steak House at a nice Helsinki location, with a lot of genuine interest in making a good steak. Menu is quite impressive with a lot of options between mid priced and some really premium options. Overall both steaks we ordered were good and well prepared. Service is overall good, like it should be at this price range. Maybe a few more beers from micro breweries would be welcome on the menu, as the wine list is very ambitious but I really like a beer for steak as well sometimes.

I got a salmon (I know Im in a steakhouse and I did not get steak!) But it was wonderful, cooked to the right point, with a great sauce. I paired it with fries obviously and grilled vegetables. There are a lot of sides to choose from as well, the corn on the cobs and the potatoes with mushroom looked interesting as well. They brought in a bread basket and butter at the beginning which were also wonderful. The menu has lots of options, there's also a vegetarian steak and there's a mini menu with photos of everything as well which was cool to check. The music was nice and the service was okay, just rushing us to order, rushing us to pay and to wrap up and leave around 10 pm while it's actually open till 11. They open on Sundays which is wonderful because most close in Helsinki. It is on the higher edge, quite pricey because the salmon comes alone and you'd have to pair it with sides so it adds up quite well as a price.

Great place for a group dinner we were 12 people. The staff gave a good service, it was nice we were not disappointed. As a starter delicious food beefsteak tartar I recommend. For the main course I ordered a steak and here a huge surprise such tasty meat I have never eaten, it was sensational. For dessert was a local Kraft beer tasty and worth recommending. A little expensive

Lovely steak house. We took children (4 & 6) . They had a good variety of children's meals. They had grilled chicken and chips which they loved. We were pleased to see tomato and cucumbers on their plate as well. I had a steak bourgeoisie and my husband had the steak. Both delicious! Service was very quick and attentive would recommend thank you

The restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere, the waiters are kind and attentive, and the food is very tasty. The steaks and the chicken fillet were so tender they melted in our mouth.

Ordered the waqyu steak cooked medium rare. Sadly it was left raw. After sending it back to the kitchen it came back as a medium, didn't have the nerve to complain any further. Service is best described as efficient. Not rude but pretty emotionless to be truthful. The restaurant itself was quite nice. Well decorated with a chill atmosphere. The variety of different meat options is most probably best in town. Would probably give them another shot even when considering my latest experience.

If I can give more stars l, I will. The Steaks served are some of the BEST I have tried till now in my life. Even the free bread that they served before course are tasty. The fried chicken, woo.. Amazing Definitely worth to give a try if you ever visit Helsinki

As an Australian who loves a good steak I highly recommend Goodwin. Both of our steaks were cooked perfectly to order, the sides were delicious and the trio of different flavoured creme brulees was a delicious finish to an awesome meal. They also do great coffee. It was so good we came back for a 2nd meal and it was just as good!

It was perfect meal. Services, menu, atmosphere, etc everything was perfect. And especially lunch set was offered with very affordable price and high quality. I really eager to go here again.

Ravintolaan tullessa otettiin takki naulakkoon,sekä reppu. Ohjattiin pöytään. Pöytä valmiiksi katettu. Tarjoilija tuli lähes heti tuomaan vettä ja kysymään juoma tilausta. Kaikin puolin erittäin hyvä ravintola kokemus. Pihvi ja lisukkeet tilataan erikseen. Pihvin kuuluu kastike,jonka saa valita eri vaihtoehdoista ja kastike tulee pienessä kannussa pöytään.

Meat’s good quality, but presentation wise poorly. Sides poorly made. Sauces lacked taste. Service lacked soul. Review is in comparison to the price level. Overall everything pretty average but at premium price. … We also got one side order after we finished our steaks which lowered the scoring. Did not intend to leave a tip due to the service. But had to anyway since they kept the euro that was over in charge. They never brought it back. And this was on a calm Monday..

Goodwin The Steak House is a great place to go for a delicious steak dinner in Helsinki. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. I ordered the filet, and it was cooked to perfection. The steak was juicy and flavorful, all it needed was a little salt. I also ordered a side of mashed potatoes and they were delicious as well. The prices are a bit high, but the food is definitely worth it. If you're looking for a special occasion restaurant in Helsinki this is a good option. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Goodwin, the food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. It’s in a good location to go for an evening walk along the water afterwards.

Niin huippu hyvä palvelu ja ruoka täydellistä. Varsinkin Kobe liha oli niin suussa sulavaa! Ehdottomasti jatkoon.

Steak was adequate but not worth going out of your way for. Staff was mostly pleasant barring the grumpy older waiter who was mildly combative with other customers. For the price Goodwin has gotten lazy and is coasting on name recognition alone. The quality of service and steak needs to rise sharply to stay competitive post-pandemic.

Nice steak, their complimentary bread is soft too. The customer service was also good. They helped me pick my food with good wine.

In my opinion, the Marbled T-bone steak was very mediocre and not worth the cost. The vibe and the service at the restaurant are good though.

I had planned to dine in this restaurant for a long time. Today I finally realised my dreams. The rib-eye steak was a killer and the grilled vegetables a perfect side kick. Kids loved their burgers too. The restaurant is number one choice for anyone thirsty for a bloody steak.

I have dined in this restaurant several times, both in Helsinki and Tallinn. The food here never disappoints and this time was no exception. The waiters are very kind and welcoming. The tuna steak and tuna carpaccio are super delicious!! The creme brule is also really nice with three different flavors - it’s just too small🙈

First day in Helsinki with my wife and two boys. we were all craving a good steak. I googled the nearest Steakhouse and we were so lucky to be nearby the Goodwin. Ribeye Steaks were amazing and we didn't even order the dry aged one. Side dishes of grilled vegetables and creamy spinach were perfect. Highly recommended and we will pay them another visit before leaving Helsinki next week.

Not cheap but very good steak house. Iced the Goodwin Souce. And they have an amazing vegan steak as well, good if you are accompanied with a vegan friend.

Very good steak restaurant. Food has always been excellent, but little expensive. Still, I will recommend this restaurant for all who likes meat 🥩. Service quality depends how full the place is. The food was great and the service was really good as well. The vibe the place has is so cool and something I would recommend for sure. It’s bit pricey but 100% worth it.

Good steaks also expensive but quality is really good. I have been there 3 times over the last 2 years and the quality is really stable. Medium rare is medium rare 👍

Food was delicious, only minus from if you order your steak medium rare, you don't want to get it almost well done. With this price you suppose to get what you want... said it to weiter after he was collecting plates but not sure if he noticed it.
