Unfortunately my car broke down as I was passing through. So being from out of town, I was exhausted, with 3 kids, ready for rest. I really enjoyed my stay! My room was clean. Staff was nice. They have a shuttle that took me to Walmart to get all we need for out unexpected stay. Nice continental breakfast, delicious waffles! There's a man, I hope I'm getting his name correct, Mr.G, I believe. He older, very kind. Oh my Gosh, I was so grateful for his kindness. Front desk man, I don't remember his name, I'm sorry. He had a beautiful chocolate complexion, tall. He too, was very kind to me and my children. Because of how pleasant and affordable my stay was, I would for sure come back!!!

I've only used the park and go option. The gentleman serving the front desk was very warm and helpful. He reassured my concerns for safety and informed me of pick-up instructions. He was a real gentleman. Thank you for being so sweet and helpful.

Pros: Friendly staff. Quiet. Clean. Free bfast. Airport shuttle convenient, and also offered transportation to local restaurants. Cons: While the hotel shuttle picked up at the airport, neither the van nor the driver had any identification. Naturally we were hesitant to enter an unmarked van. Breakfast adequate but twice the attendant had to be asked to quit playing on her phone to clean up the bfast area.

The airport shuttle was very convenient. Hotel is conveniently located near the airport. Property is a little worn could use some remodeling & updating. Room was clean. Free breakfast is always a plus.

The hotel is dated. The service is nice. Go somewhere else for breakfast. Their breakfast bar is pretty gross. Yes, it’s a hot breakfast but it’s very bland. I myself don’t drink milk or juice from open containers, I prefer the closed carton containers like the Holiday Inn express has. You can never be too careful.

I booked a room at the beginning and end of a week long trip. I paid a reasonable fee to leave my car. My return flight arrived after 11:00p.m. and I was concerned about the shuttle service that late so I called the desk three hours before arriving and was assured that I need only call the desk upon arrival and the shuttle would come. However,I called EIGHT times after claiming my baggage but nobody answered. I luckily had their business card so decided to call the manager on his New Jersey cell number and left a message expressing my concern being stranded at midnight at the airport. Shortly thereafter the shuttle driver called me to arrange pickup. It turns out the driver is also the night desk manager without a business cell phone so when he is in route the phone at the hotel goes unanswered. I called the manager the next day and suggested the nice man that runs the shuttle and desk should have a business cell phone to avoid this problem. He seemed to agree and when I asked to receive some compensation for being stranded at the airport he said he'd think about it. I'll post again to report what he does for me.

The front desk gentleman was a great help directing us where to park because we had a U-Haul towing behind. There were people hanging outside playing loud music, smoking, drinking but no fault of the hotel. Hotel room clean as well as bathroom spotless. I can't ask for more as the price was excellent

Hard bed. Super cheap box springs. No USB ports available, maybe that's good, maybe that doesn't matter to you, but it's a thing. Service was great. Breakfast was also great. Full buffet. Eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, fresh fruit. Cereal and milk. It was a really decent spread. I wasn't expecting it after the poor mattress, but I was surprised. Out front while waiting for my ride, I was disappointed they didn't have a bench to sit on. What's that all about?

The unfriendly welcome. The lady at the front desk is so rude. Won't make eye contact. Says "name", then she says "ID"! I couldn't believe her rudeness. Gave us the key without saying a word. I guess we disturbed her from her cell phone. The room felt dirty. The carpet had a huge patch completely soaked. I don't know if a dog peed there. It's disgusting. I can't believe they still have carpets in rooms! The hallway smells like weed it's starting to smell in my room. This is supposed to be a non smoking hotel. My phone didn't work so I went downstairs. She gave me her phone without saying a word again. I know that if I go complain downstairs about the smell to the useless front desk person, nothing will change. Very disappointed

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. Vijay K (General Manager) will be hearing from us regarding his overnight Front Desk lady (SARAH). Her discrimination, lack of hospitality and in appropriate procedures stealing guest money.

The Manager was running the desk and the shuttle. And he was very kind and helpful. Even though the Shuttle was stopped at midnight, he still came and got me at the airport as I had left my car there as was offered for a very low fee.

Before arriving here, my wife and I read several reviews about this hotel. I couldn't believe it could be as bad as reported. Well, here I am, after driving almost two hours from Virginia Beach. It's almost 8:00 p.m. and I have to take my daughter to the airport at 4:30 a.m. I'm sitting in a chair, by the desk in our room, writing this review. We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport. That's the good part about this place. We figured we would arrive, sleep an hour or two, take our daughter to the airport, come back, sleep a little longer, and then check out. We walked through the door of our room, and while I returned the luggage cart to the lobby, my wife started unpacking. I returned a few minutes later, only to find my wife in the hallway, in front of our door, holding a small trash bin. To my overall disbelief, there was a cockroach crawling on the outside of it! Well, that did it! Hear I am, sitting here in the corner, by the desk. I told my wife that I WILL NOT be sleeping tonight! As in other positive reviews, the checking in process was easy, and the woman at the front desk very friendly. My wife tells me that the beds are relatively comfortably and clean, in contrast to what we had read previously. We were hungry, so we left around 9:00 p.m. to find something to eat. I was pleased to find multiple restaurants close to the hotel. Upon returning to our room, we found our room situation much better than when we had arrived. If it had not been for the discovery of the roach earlier, I would have been pleased to stay here. But, here I am sitting here in the corner, by the desk, ending this review.

Nice two-night/3day-stay, complimentary delicious breakfast with lots to choose from. Room was immaculate, iron & ironing board included, mobile luggage 🧳 carriers. Following check-out realized I had forgotten my new expensive boots upon calling they promised a return call, but to no avail. So, I doubled back through Richmond’s traffic retrieving them myself from their front desk.

A nice hotel staff polite and friendly check in quick and easy. The location even though your near too Richmond airport it’s still a quieter location there are restaurants that are walkable etc. The room modern spacious wood floors and ceramic in the bathroom I do find in a hotel carpets seem to be overrated. You do have a outside pool which I got there late and didn’t use. Breakfast was great full service breakfast with hot food everything you needed they have. All in all a good all round service look forward on going back.

Wow! The customer service was amazing. Im a solo mom flying with an 18month old and A LOT of luggage. I flew in at 11pm and Edward met me at the curtosey shuttle and immediately improved my adventure x100. He was so helpful, above and beyond. I was so frazzled from the trip and missing my rental car, but thanks to him I did not need to worry about any hassle checking in. He also took all of my luggage up stairs and made sure we were set, and then met us in the am so I could pick up the rental car. Rooms were decent, Richmond is an old city so I didn’t expect some fancy renovation. We slept great and the breakfast was awesome! Would definitely stay again!

We were a very late check-in. The man at the front desk on the night shift was very helpful. He gave me a quick rundown and told me pretty much everything that I needed to know. On our 2nd night there my daughter dropped her toothbrush in the toilet. I asked him where the closest place to get one was. He gave me one from the hotel. I thought that was nice and I was very appreciative of that.

Stayed 3 nights and it was wonderful. Quiet, clean and super friendly staff. Breakfasts in the morning are terrific. Had 2 dogs with me and they had a nice potty area out back with a picnic table to relax and enjoy the weather. Reasonably priced. Definitely will stay there every time I’m in Richmond.

We drove 10 to Virginia and they had a room for us right away. Great breakfast, beds were hard, but they accommodated us with an extra blanket to sleep on. For the price we paid, it was a good deal

This was my first stay at this hotel, and I have to say I was quite pleasantly surprised. The staff we had the pleasure to interact with (shoutout to Emmanuel, Chris, and Edward) were engaging, kind, courteous, and attentive. The room was clean and, minus the microwave, had all the amenities of a higher-end (and waaaaay more expensive) hotel. There was a full breakfast bar that was hot and well stocked. The hotel is near the airport and very close to shopping and restaurants. Don't have anything bad to say here, so we'll definitely be back!

3pm Friday after Thanksgiving check in: the short Caucasian girl/clerk (No name nag) her tone of her voice was rude and nasty! The room 324 was okay but the beds were hard and you could feel the mattress springs in your back! Drapes had a cigarette burn and the heating unit had cigarette burn on it as well. The lamp shade had a hole in it by the window. The iron did not steam. The maid forgot to wipe the table by the window which had dark mold mold on front of it. Thank God I always bring my Lysol wipes with me!The ice machines on floors 2 and 3 don't work and I had to go back down to the first floor to get ice from the ice machine by the side door exist! Two positives things were the Bathroom was above broad of health clean. The hot water could have been a little hotter for my bath and secondly the 6am breakfast was awesome and filling. Would I stay again: No. Best Western Plus thats a Negative!!!

A wonderful experience from the start of checkin. Front desk most helpful, friendly, and showed desire to make our stay pleasant. Room was nice...bed, pillows, and shower were excellent. Had a solid night of rest. A good breakfast for the hurried travelers.

Wonderful hotel. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was very good. They provide coffee and juice 24 hours a day and the staff are super friendly.

For the price I was shocked at what all came with it. The staff is knowledgeable and polite, the rooms are clean and well kept, its quiet as a mouse inside and outside the place, the beds sleep comfortably, and the breakfast bar was amazing. I highly recommend!!

Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. It was a brief one night stay before early morning flight due to it's close proximity to airport. Room was decent. Walls and doors were thin, so not the quietest if you have noisy neighbors.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times. There is a courtesy, cleanliness, and consistency that is rare to find in hotel experiences these days. The management an staff are prompt in helping the customer whether it is parking, hotel stay, amenities, etc. The breakfast is more than just a bit of continental foods, eggs, potatoes, sausage, fresh fruit, yogurt and the list goes one. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that stays in the area.

The staff was very polite and helpful which normally would get four stars. The location to the venue we attended was great. Unfortunately there was no mention the pool would not be open (which was the main reason our family as well as two other families stayed at this hotel.) Having to explain to grand-children why they can't use the pool was not something we should have had to deal with. The breakfast was also a disappointment. The powdered eggs were terrible and the sausage was not too good either. The remaining choices were iffy at best. As for the room, it was nice and clean. The water pressure in the shower however was non existent. It took three times longer and a considerable amount more water to rinse off than any normal shower should.

This was my first time visiting this area in Virginia so I decided to get a hotel for me. I decided to come to this best western hotel. When I came in the worker told that one night price is 130$.I ask if I could get something cheaper way because it was a emergency but they said the only thing they can do is cut the price down 5$ less = 125$ ( Fact: I could had just went online and got it cheaper from there website but they never told me ) So when I got to my room I went to charge my phone up on the lamp outlet but….IT WAS NOT WORKING. AND ALSO THE PHONE DOES NOT WORK EITHER THATS INCLUDING WITH THE ROOM. The only thing was good was the shower. So next day when I decided to get breakfast from the hotel cafe I decided to bring my food up to my room but.. THE WORKER TOLD ME I CANT TAKE MY FOOD TO MY ROOM. This was very disrespectful because I paid all this money. To be honest I should’ve have got a refund. The only thing that good about it the outside and the shower and the price, that’s it. The worker service is kinda disappointing to be honest. If you who can afford 160$ for a better hotel please do not go to this one.
