Staying at the Grand Palladium Punta Cana currently….has been the worst ‘all inclusive’ experience. We have been here for 2 days and are on our 3rd room simply because basic needs have not been met. In the first room there was glass on the floor, the air conditioning buttons were literally gone as in the buttons were a hollow space, and the office outside of our room was extremely loud at 11:30 pm. We were transferred to a second room which was just as bad. The dead bolt lock fell off the door…the whole door handle mechanism was basically falling off. The water is scalding hot and taking a shower is impossible without inflicting pain. We have not been able to enjoy a single amenity because we have been in the lobby for hours on end. We told them we are switching to one of their different hotels and we are told we can be shown in 30 minutes. We come down and are now told we are not being moved to the different hotel, but instead they are putting us in their 3rd lousy villa. Now are going on two hours of waiting for this non existent new room. One top of all this we have been pestered by their activity consultants hounding us to do an excursion. It has been non stop the past two days and we are ready to pack up and go. No refund has been offered for their terrible service. Simply told to “sit down and wait” if you want true all inclusive go somewhere else and spend a few extra hundred. Save yourself the stress and sanity along.

Horrible check-in experience. No reservations were available for any of the restaurants. Run out of beach towels in the afternoon. Cleaning room service not too good, no full replacement of towels. Food very good and a lot of variety in all of the buffet restaurants. Night entertainment very good. Beach excellent. They need to fix that first impression when you first arrive. Staff in the check-in area not cooperative and with an attitude of not caring much.

Overall the staff was very pleasant and staff members such as Mario were very helpful. However, there were a few inconveniences we faced. For example, we were told we would be getting a tour of the hotel the day after our check in and it led to us being brought to someone to book an excursion followed by a 2+ hour meeting to try to get you to buy into their travel club-they are extremely persistent and did not want to take no for an answer! Also, constantly being asked to book an excursion or buy something while at the pool/beach was exhausting (I understand why they do it though). Lastly, on our last night we noticed the toilet stopped working. It took about 4 hours and multiple phone calls/ visits to the lobby to get somebody to try to fix it, maybe because it was a Sunday night I’m not sure! I’m grateful somebody showed up at least. During our stay the beach had a ton of seaweed, probably because we visited during hurricane season (October) but the pools were lovely with their swim up bars! The food was okay, nothing to rave about. I actually really enjoyed the buffets more than the restaurants. You can use their app to book restaurants and guest services can help too. Overall I enjoyed my stay, loved the pool, and had fun on the excursions however I wanted to let others know about the things we experienced while there.

I was gracious by giving the resort two stars when I checked out. I wonder if the resort paid or gave extra perks to guests for giving a 5 stars rating on their website. Because there is no way this resort should be receiving 5 stars from guests. However, the resort landscaping were beautiful. The room was just okay. The shower/tub were unsafe. The tub was too high to safely step in even with the provided step stool. The room smelled like mildew, the power went out on two of my days there, the cockroaches unacceptable. The food were DISGUSTINGLY!!!! It was the same food every day (COLD, UNDONE, and BLAND). The drinks at the bar, watered down. The chef/cook staff need to be retrained and take cooking classes. I saw one of the staff sneak eating the food while I was in line. At least his coworker told him don’t do that. The food was the worst food I tasted from an all inclusive restaurant I’ve been to. 🤮 The pools were nice, but they didn’t have music playing the whole time. The shuttle service to the different resorts should be more frequently. The nights I took them, I waited over twenty minutes trying to get one to take me to the other resorts and take me back to my resort. On one occasion, me and family had to walk. The people that gave five stars are telling a lie. The hotel need to be remodeled. If you want to lose weight, stay here. After reading some of the past reviews, I see the managements didn’t make any changes to the complaints that the guests were complaining about. Don’t stay here!

First of all, I don’t understand why so many people are posting 5 star reviews for this hotel. I believe people get something in return for a 5 star review because everyone we met at this hotel had complaints, where not happy and said they will never go back to this place. To be honest I don’t know where to start. Maybe the most important you guys should know before booking is the noise level inside the rooms. It’s loud, very loud, to loud to have a good sleep. You hear pretty much everything, from people walking by your room to doors opening a couple rooms further. It’s caused by the hotel structure so they cannot do anything about that. We moved 3 times due to noise complaints but didn’t helped. We never slept a whole night without being woken up. Another complaint was the amount of sales guys in the resort. You can’t enjoy the pool, every hour you will be approached to buy stuff, from excursions yo spa treatments. Even when you are swimming, really mind blowing. Also the rooms will have some defects, we moved 3 times and in every room was something. In our last room we had ants all over the place, even in the bed! At one night we came back from te pool and wanted to take a shower, no water in the room. We called the reception, they said they would sent someone to come and fixed it but he never came over. This was really a bridge to far for us. We booked another hotel via Booking.com and left. So my opinion for other Europeans and Americans is don’t book this hotel, you will regret it. There are far better hotels in this price range! To the hotel customer service that are reading and replying quickly to these reviews I would like to say the following: It’s funny to see that you guys can quickly reply on reviews but when customers are complaining during there stay you don’t act quickly at all. In most cases nothing will happen at all. What a nice efficient customer service you guys have!

The food was good , the resort I wouldn't say it's luxury but it's nice. But I had a terrible experience because I went to Guest Service Desk to make a reservation to decorate my room for Valentine's day as a surprise for my boyfriend. The representative said he made the request . On Valentine's day I go to the Guest Service Desk to see if the room was ready so I can head over with my bf , and they told me unfortunately they couldn't do it. I was so upset because they didn't advise me of anything , this was so unprofessional and unfair. In top of that when I went to check out they were trying to charge me for the decoration of the room . The representative there was very unprofessional and kept going back and forth to the guest service desk and walking around the resort without telling me anything about taking off the charge . Honestly I feel like he didn't make the request from the beginning he seemed so guilty and didn't care.

Modesto in guest services is hands down the best! Excellent service all around but specifically from him. Walter at the front desk is great, friendly, and courteous. Between both these amazing individuals my stay was beyond great. Definitely will come back. You feel more like family than a guest. It’s very highly recommend. If you book your stay please see both these individuals!

Overall our stay was great, there were just too many inconveniences to call this resort anything but okay. For the first 4 days of our 7 days staying the water in the shower was unpredictable. We reported to maintenance that the water was way too cold especially for our young children. When they "fixed" it, it would come out scalding. This went on for several days between cold and extremely hot water. I finally managed to fix it on my own. Much of the staff is extremely helpful and will happily cater to your needs. However, it is very evident the resort is understaffed. Many of inconveniences we faced were due to insufficient investment in the resort or at least in the staff. There were some rooms that were being remodeled adjacent to ours and for the most part they kept the noise to a minimum. Overall, my family and I had a great time but I don't believe we will be returning to this property. On a side note, they tried to pitch you on a "travel club" the first day that is extremely annoying and an absolute waste of time. Avoid it all cost.

While the pools and beaches at this resort are absolutely stunning, I cannot give it 4 or 5 stars because of the constant haggling. We couldn’t go 30 minutes without someone trying to sell us something, join a club; or book an excursion. They even went so far as to wake me up from a nap on the beach to try to sell me something. I probably said no thank you 50+ times over the course of our 5 day trip. The all inclusive nature was great, and the food was all right, but just be prepared to be constantly approached no matter where you are on the property. I’m not sure I would come back to this resort as we like to try new things, but I can’t say that we didn’t have a great time, met some great people, and enjoyed ourselves. Overall, a pretty good stay!

We just came back from a 10 day vacation and this was our 3rd time at this resort! It’s amazing! We went with our 3 kids and all the staff were so welcoming and accommodating! The kids club - These group of ladies were fantastic! My 3 year old wanted to stay there more than hang out with us! They always had something planned for them and kept them busy! They treated my son like he was their own and I couldn’t have ask for a better experience! Pool - we spend every day at the pool with the splash pad. The guys that plan all the activity were fantastic! They would come around asking if you wanted to participate but were not pushy if you didn’t want to. Dining - the food was great. When you arrive make sure you book into the specialty restaurant for your stay. They have a great selection to choose from and all were fantastic! Beach - personally I’m not a beach fan, I prefer the pool. It was nice and clean but can get pretty busy. 10/10 recommend!

When I arrived to this resort, I was welcomed with poor quality all around. When I arrived to my room around 10pm the safe was not working and the AC was not working well; it was very humid inside. I asked the bar staff and the main reception for water bottles and none were offered. Then we had no hot water in the room. I managed to switch room with hot water around 1 AM. The new room had functioning AC and hot water, but the toilet was leaking and was missing bathrobes and slippers despite multiple calls to guest services and maintenance. The next day, there was a low water pressure in the room. The following day, I got locked out of the room due to a low battery of the keycard reader. Overall, 0/10 recommend due to the absolutely horrible maintenance of this resort and the poor quality service. For the same price you should go to any other resort in the area.

The facilities and services were wonderful. The constant solicitation for services from employees was slightly annoying. However, the attempts to sell overpriced travel membership is nothing more than a scam. When you go to check in, you'll notice 1-2 individuals in aqua blue shirts with Travel Club logos waiting like vultures. They'll provide some sort of false claim to be your concierge or personal representative. This is not the case. They'll want to meet the next morning for what they'll label as an orientation or welcome. They'll meet you for breakfast (that you've already paid for as part of your package) and take two hours to give you a sales pitch to sell you a travel membership for $13k+ (payable over a 5yr period). As soon as it was clear that I wasn't going to purchase the package, we were literally cut off. If it wasn't for the fact that I routinely tipped the service staff and made a connection with a tour guide at the airport, the entire trip would have been a bust. The staff always did extra...a couple of bottles of wine for our anniversary and one waitress gave us commemorative DR mugs. Scheduling your excursions via trip advisor or a tour company is cheaper and I was able to get some complimentary trips by cutting out the middle men on the resort. Bottom line: 1. Avoid the Travel Club personnel (their business model is worse than timeshares...it's a modern day pyramid scheme.) Keep in mind that Palladium is part of this hustle and allow it to happen. Some folks had their entire visit ruined by this experience. 2. Accept the fact that everyone is trying to make money. Do your research early and find a tour company that will give you your money's worth. 3. Tip your service staff (bell hops, waiters, room attendants, etc.). If you do, they will take care of you.

This place is relaxing and loads of fun!!! I highly recommend this resort if you are looking to disconnect, but want to do it surrounded by one of the most beautiful settings the world has to offer. Beware: you may wind up having the time of your life. I traveled alone because I truly treasure time to be quiet and away from others, but the people here are so nice and engaging that I couldn’t help but want to be more social!! 😂 And when I wanted and needed quite, I easily found it on the beach or on my beautiful garden view balcony in my room!!! This place is for kids 1-100 because you can readily find something for everyone. One more warning: the people here will make it their personal mission to make sure you feel taken care of.

My husband booked this hotel in august and when we reached at the hotel they didn’t have the room. We were told to wait at the lobby and stayed there for an hour and a half with a toddler. We decided to go to another hotel since they later found a room on another side of the hotel which didn’t allowed children which was very strange to us since they saw we come with a toddler. The room was book two weeks before our arrival. I this these people who give five stars at this hotel get some reward because it doesn’t make sense

Staff was awesome. The activities Staff (Jorge, Jose, and Darwin) were great! Also the bartenders were very nice and attentive. Rooms were very nice. Only down fall was that the AC didn't work too great. Overall would definitely recommend and stay again.

The hotel is nice but had a big problem in the room with the AIR CONDITIONER. When we first checked in we noticed the AIR CONDITIONER NOT WORKING PROPERLY and it was reported it right of way. They sent somebody to fix but it was not fix. When it was time to sleep we called again and they sent somebody and still the AIR CONDITIONER was not fixed. End of the story no AIR CONDITIONER ALL NIGHT. Couldn’t sleep and just decided it to write this review before I forget and will not be back. It is very uncomfortable to be 🥵 hot after sunburn and not have AC

Had an excellent vacation at the palace! Wilson and Joelvis helped us to enjoy dancing, activities and helped to make our own karaoke night which was amazing (would totally do it again)! Always attend the foam and beach parties you won’t regret it! Stunning atmosphere and great rooms, service was excellent.

Me and my family came to visit mid feb and stayed for 11 nights. The resort is lovely with easy access to the beach which was only a one minute walk from our room. There’s lots on offer here so everyday is different whether you want to spend the day at the pool or in the spa. The staff here are amazing and the service all around from each employee is exceptional especially when your out for meals your glass is never empty. You can tell the staff care for you and want you to have a great stay. For us the entertainment was the best part of the stay there’s loads of activities to do throughout the day and night. Every night there’s a different show ranging from a circus filled with great acts to an 80s disco. During the day there’s staff around the pools getting everyone from all age groups involved in activities whether that be in or next to the pool. For us the staff that got us involved the most and made our stay very enjoyable we’re Luis G , Mr 911 and Cristofel a big thank you to them for making us feel welcome during our stay .

The hotel was excellent, and some of the staff were exceptional! Santa served our family at the pool during our stay and did a fantastic job. She was very helpful and really improved our trip. Also, Renxo (Champion) is a fantastic activities director. He’s very energetic, kind, and helpful. He made our family feel at home and excited to play games by the pool with him and the other travelers. Overall, our trip was great but these individuals on the staff really helped bring it to the next level.

Exactly what we needed! The staff was SO super friendly, compassionate and appreciative. The facility is immaculate. We booked a private catamaran with Adi directly with the hotel, he was amazing and our day at sea with Marcos, Johnny and Julius was nothing but FANTASTIC. The only reason for the "4" rating was the food, just not my favorite.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, the beach and the pool are lovely. However, my favorite part is the drinks, which are delicious from every bar, and the people!! Every employee we met was friendly, and more so, the bartenders and the pop people. They keep the party going and encourage you to join in the fun. I especially enjoyed Sopita down by the pool, and the bartenders in the lobby and the beach. Everyone here makes you feel like family!

The food was delicious always lots of variety to choose from. The servers the bartenders all the staff. I have been here 5 times. The only words I have to say to complete this review is WOW thank you all to the Palladium family you are all amazing. Love you all!!!! Great details!

1 star for the beautiful views and amazing landscaping. 1 star for the shows and entertainments. 1 star for amazing staffs at Kids camp and staffs at poolside. Hot Coffee was the best. My dad enjoyed the daily game and activities. Big No if you need any room service in time! I couldn't get blankets and sheets for my kids to sleep in the sofa bed. I called and called and called. You would be lucky if anyone answered. Then still No body showed up. I went to front desk twice a day. They had to follow up. I couldn't get any technician to come over to unlock the washroom door until next day in the afternoon, after I called like 20 times, went to front desk 5 times. Also, lot of staffs do not speak any English.

The resort itself was nice. The waitresses and bar tenders are very nice. Food was nothing special but comparable to other all inclusive resorts we've stayed at. My main issue was with the administration, check-in staff and maintenance. Our stay started poorly when we were delayed by weather and one person was unable to come on the trip. We had 3 rooms reserved. My wife called ahead to let them know that we would be a day late and to reassign the other two rooms to our two adult children, they said there would be no issue with that on our call. Our kids arrived and requested to the 2 room that we had reserved for them. The hotel refused to give them two rooms and put them both into one room with a king bed. When we arrived the next day we asked why they weren't given the two rooms . They basically said my wife and children were lying and that my adult children (23 and 26) requested one room with a king bed. We requested a refund for the one room night we paid for and were not given but that was denied. It went down hill from there. At that point we were told that we could no longer get rooms by our kids despite making reservations months ago. They put us into two other rooms. Those rooms turned out to have a broken door knob so we couldn't even get in. The next room had a broken toilet. It wouldn't flush. After more complaining suddenly 2 rooms were available down the hall from the other room they gave us. The new room we were given didn't have hot water in the shower for 2 days despite repeated calls to maintenance and messages give to the maid and front desk staff. It was only fixed when we happened to run into a maintenance person. Our fridge never worked. We made calls and let the maid know but those were never responded too. The resort itself is similar to any other resort we've stayed at in the Caribbean. I'd highly recommend you stay at some other resort, knowing that this resort won't fix anything that goes wrong and won't correct any mistakes they make. I did talk to other guests during my stay with similar issues.

A big thank you for Helen from the reception who took very good care of me during my stay, tried really hard to make things better. Also her trainee, so sorry I forgot her name but it sounded like Naroska. Dolores at the reception was also so sweet and very competent. Shout out to Luis (Jean Carlos) for making me the best drinks with the nicest smile. Thank you Rodolfo for giving me dance lesson and to keep me up to date with the activities. For the resort, not as nice as I expected. I did not enjoy the food at all except for the Argentinian Restaurant, not really a fun resort to be at if you’re alone since the nightlife is very boring. Wouldn’t go back unfortunately.

I recommend that you think about it before booking this hotel. I have been here for 4 days and I have nothing positive to say first they are promoted as a 5-star hotel and they are not, the air conditioning is adjusted that you can't lower it by 22 degrees and the fan at the third speed so the room stays warm. When I complained at the reception they sent a technician who checked the temperature and said that everything was fine only that I came from outside and had to wait 30 to 40 minutes for it to cool down, which never happened, for short I have been 4 days in this with an asthmatic 6-old boy getting hot every night, in the morning I go and ask to talk to the manager and It's been this experience, the mini fridge doesn't cool, one of the bathrooms sinks was clogged. The hotel need to be remodel totally before get a five start

I would not recommend. We had a swim out room. Rooms are not updated, mold around the vent which caused me to be sick. Air condition is poor, our room was always warm and damp from humidity. One of our bathroom sinks wouldn’t drain. I ate very little the 5 days I stayed here - the food wasn’t very appetizing. The buffet served the same food every single day. The sports bar you couldn’t order food half the time, only buffet food. The restaurants were difficult to get into due to needing a reservation - make sure you book your reservation a day in advance at least. Room service food options/drinks are limited. Overall, I would never stay here again.

After checking into this amazing resort we went down to book our dinner reservations. I had the privilege of speaking with Santiago at the guest service desk. He was able to get us into a new restaurant every night while we are here!! After he was finished I realized I gave him my wrong room number. So he quickly canceled those reservations and asked another gentleman to help him get the reservation for us right away. He was so amazing and if you are able to enjoy this fantastic place, I hope you get the chance to meet him. Again thank you Santiago!!

The pools are beautiful and the restaurants are amazing!! Service is great and the staff is very friendly. The resort is huge and you have access to everything. The butler services are very helpful with booking reservations or getting anything you need for the room. If you’re hungry at night, the 24 hr room service is great to have! Maycol and Luis (entertainment staff) were great at making us feel right at home. They are always keeping the energy high! Even if you’re a little hungover, they’ll make sure you’re still smiling and laughing all day!

Beautifully landscaped, large property that is well kept, although the infrastructure of the rooms and bathroom could benefit from a re-vamp. Service was excellent! The entertainment team was amazing, in particular Maicol. He had so much energy and is the best dancer and really made our stay eventful. Domingo the waiter provided amazing service and was extremely attentive to any requests. He was always a friendly face and made an effort to get to know us! Drinks were really good. The waiters who take your orders by the pool side or in the lounge are really quick and attentive. I never felt I was waiting a long time for a drink. Overall, great hotel.

My family and I was able to get the best possible service by a group of professionals who took all efforts and considerations to make this vacation special and memorable to all of my guests and family. I would especially like tot than staff manager Brigida Mendoza who was able to remedy any issues that may have arisen due to unexpected storm (Grace) that led to some inconvenience. She was able to mobilize her staff to assist my family in relocating to a more suitable rooms and even went above and beyond to make sure all our clothes and services stayed in optimal condition. I would greatly recommend this hotel as it is more of a life changing experience rather than a place to stay.

The hotel is nice, people here are very friendly and inclusive. If you are part of the travel club you can go to a members only private beach and it feels like your own beach because barely anyone is there. At the pool, Willy, the bartender would save our seats for us so no matter what time of day we arrived we would have seats right by the pool in the shade. He also made sure to always have a drink in hand as well. Edde Murphy and Carolina always made sure to ask you to join the games and the dancing. Their attitudes were always have friendly and inclusive towards everyone.

Absolutely amazing, we had a blast. The entertainment was fun an lively.... Give us more Karaoke time with the hosts (lol). Amazing staff, great food, clean, and relaxing. My husband and I had the best experience at The Grand Palladium in Punta Cana! Julio Magdiel at the Reception Desk was SUPER amazing he was so friendly and very attentive to our needs. Juan Pablo at the breakfast buffet was also friendly and did a great job serving. Our room was beautiful with a swim up with a jacuzzi which we enjoyed after our day out around the resort and Beach this was a great amenity to have to cap off our night. We also had went to their spa which was also relaxing and beautiful along with a couples massage. Our Villa was a walk away from the Beach that was also a plus. We can't wait go back! And we recommend our friends and family to experience to stay at The Grand Palladium in Punta Cana!

The people are amazing! The food is so/so but definitely enjoyed the shows and people that surround you. Like Jorge, Felix, yeieny aka Mr.911 and etc hard to remember all the names but all seem to make u motivated to be active and have a great time.

Very excellent staff. Wonderful entertainment. Stayed in loft suite if you are Coming with the family get that suite very spacious. Drinks were amazing too you will love the bar by the pool. Any excursions see Wellington in the palace hotel! He recommends the best excursions and you get a good price. Will definitely come back

The service was great!! We loved that they were able to accommodate us. The food and the rooms were so nicee and beautiful views. If you a more night life person this resort doesn’t have too many nightly events but it is located near downtown with lots of clubs and lounges if you want to get a more authentic experience. Not everyone speaks English very well, which is fine I’m bilingual but if you are not I recommend brushing up on your basic skills or having a translator app to avoid frustration from the language barrier. Jose, Ramon, y Juan were perfect!! They made this feel like home and family for our stay. I can’t wait to come back!!

Service is excellent, Jose guest services, Juan room service, Juan, Ramon & Eduardo servers, Anthony front desk. These staff members really stood out but over all, all of the other staff members were friendly, courteous & professional.

This resort is beautiful, clean and safe! Lots to do, lots of pools, and all the staff are super helpful and friendly! Alfredo mucho Pelo is the best, super friendly and does the best entertainment and activities by the pool!! The drinks are amazing and so are the bartenders!

I just got back from staying here and overall my experience was very subpar to say the least. The only reason why this gets 2 stars is because of the lady at concierge who was very patient with all my questions. Firstly, when I arrived, I wasn't greeted with a beverage as I saw other guests were. Also had to stand in line for about 30 minutes as people in front of me were checked in. I tried not to think too much of this so I can have a good time because stuff happens and maybe they forgot or didn't see us to ask if we wanted a drink. I basically got NO information on what was available to me on the property during check-in, what restaurants, activities etc. So I went to concierge and peppered her with a ton of questions on restaurants and making reservations. She was super kind and patient with me! Also, be mindful that the resort sells day passes to locals - and the locals come on the weekend, some to relax with family, some to look for potential mates/partners if you know what I mean. I was walking to my room and was followed by a man, I had to make a u-turn back to the lobby because I was so scared. Okay, my next complaint is the wait staff in the breakfast and lunch areas. EVERY SINGLE DAY when I walked in and sat down, I had several wait staff walk right by me, and didn't ask if I wanted something to drink. They would walk right to the table next to me and ask them, look me in the eye, and walk right by me. At first I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they were busy and distracted but then it became very obvious that they did not want to serve me - one of the very few black people there. There was definitely a racist/colorist undertone at this resort that made my experience horrible. I stayed at the Level at Melia Caribe before and it was not like that - so I plan not to EVER stay at Grand Palladium again. My money is just as good as someone of a different color! TV wouldn't turn off in my room, drinking water wasn't restocked daily, issues with the toilet running water in the room, UGH just horrible.

Would give this place 0 stars if I could. First it looked promising, beautiful lobby and the welcome drink is beautiful if nothing else. We had to sign up for a welcome gift and ‘tour’ but it was really a timeshare presentation. Paying 18k to be in a club where you still have to pay for the reservations when you book. The audacity. Got escorted to our room, and the it went down from there. Had the best room you could get here (panoramic ocean view loft) and the water pressure was non-existent, the tvs in the room turned on but one tv didn’t display an image and the other couldn’t change the channel even after changing batteries in the remote. The worst thing about the room was that the A/C did not work! Woke up everyday dripping in sweat and that was with not having sheets on us. Had to fight and call between the front desk and the concierge to get us moved to another room. The last night we got assigned to a new room. A/C worked but tv not having an image was still an issue. The icing on the cake was the last night I ordered a romantic beach dinner and a ‘Gold’ package that included rose petals everywhere, a fresh ran bath, and strawberries and champagne. They overbooked on the beach dinner so we did not get to do that. That night, only thing that came was the knock from a bellboy who had the strawberries and champagne. Called concierge to see where the rest of the items were that desk was closed. First thing before I checked out I went to the concierge desk to ask what happened and was told housekeeping knocked on my door repeatedly but no one came. That was NOT TRUE, both of us said the only knock we heard was the bellboy with the strawberries and champagne and we answered as soon as he came in. Even after pictures proving what we got versus what we were supposed to get, I still had to pay for a 100 service I didn’t receive with the reasoning of they source from a third party vendor. I am an avid traveler taking vacations 2-3 times a year. Palladium group will never get my money ever again.

The resort itself was very pretty (lobby, pool area, landscape etc). We got a loft room and it was clear they had tried to fix it up in the cheapest way possible. Shotty paint jobs, cracks painted over etc. Not to mention the walls are paper thin and you can hear pipes making noise in the hallways all day and night, doors slamming and echoing. My kids were in the loft area Above us and every step sounded like a stomp. Don’t recommend if you are a light sleeper. There is a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and the faucet doesn’t reach the tub so if you try to fill it, water hits the side and goes all over the place. You have to be in the shower to turn on the faucet and shower too which was inconvenient. It was just clear they cut corners in updating these rooms. Also the shower Door is pretty see through so we had to make sure the kids were upstairs when showering because the shower door is in the middle of the room. Staff were friendly for the most part. Food was good. Excursions were fun. Not sure I would choose this resort again.

We are having a great vacation in animation George of the jungle and Indiana. The shows are great too! Michael Jackson and there 80’s rock show were very entertaining. The activities during the day are so fun! The good is so amazing. My favorite was the Italian restaurant! Our group of 13 will be back!

This is not one Hotel this is 4 hotels in one where you have access to all the buffet bars, Restaurants (Chinese, Mexican, Italian, Steak house etc) different pools, basketball, Soccer and Tennis courts. Night Clubs, Casino, Hotel lobbies with great live music and bars that actually serve drinks in glass. I'm telling I had been in many all-inclusive hotels in DR and this one is in Top #1

  • 5/5 eli b. 2 years ago on Google
This was my first resort experience & I had an amazing time. The entire staff here are friendly and extremely accommodating. They have an array of delicious restaurants & buffets to choose from daily, a 24 hour sports bar, volleyball and tennis courts, several pools & entertainment to keep you entertained day & night. If you're looking to explore outside the resort, there are also great restaurants and nightclubs within walking distance. This will be the first of hopefully many trips to come to the Palladium resorts.

We had a great stay at the hotel and everything was very good. The different restaurants provide a wide variety of choices, the options of food are many and very tasty and the proximity to the beach is awesome. The swimming pools are also not crowded and the train takes you everywhere inside the hotel park. We had an issue with our luggage that didn’t arrive with the airplane and Jose from the Guest Service did a great job pressuring the airport to get it back as soon as possible. We recommend the hotel especially to families.

Had an amazing week at the GP Palace. Wilson and Joelvis made the trip SO much fun with activities by the pool and dancing in the evening at the Palace bar. The food, the staff, the beach and the rooms were excellent. We had a loft room for our family of 3 and it gave us so much space - highly recommend!!! We will definitely come back again for March break!!! Paul

We stayed for 9 nights as a group of 5.. we had the best time mainly due to the Pop team Luis and Nayi around the Pool.. our son Louie had such fun and was so well looked after doing activities and the special attention they gave us. The resort was huge and there was so much to do, we loved the little trains that went around the resort but we mainly stayed near our pool as we loved the Pop team so much

Very nice all inclusive with many dining options. All of the buffets had vegetarian options, and we were usually asked if we had any food allergies. All of the staff was friendly and helpful, and everyone greeted me as I walked by with an “Hola” which I loved. I recommend this place for families or couples as there are some places that are adults only on the resort. The Spa was beautiful and the massage I had with Angelita was amazing and perfect.

This place was amazing! We came here on a family Christmas vacation, and it was exactly what we needed. The Japanese restaurant was our favorite place to eat. Willian at the poolside bar was the most amazing person! He had us a pool chair ready for our family every morning. Everyone here was so friendly, and they became family.

Lovely establishment. All staff was friendly. Good food. Rooms were clean, looked nice, and were spacious. The people that want you to attend the timeshare presentation were annoying. One man approached us daily. The pool area was nice with a swim up bar. Met some nice people there. Would stay here again.

Entertainment was awesome!! Especially Alexander and Rodolfo at the lobby bar and beach party! We had a lot of fun with them!! Otherwise, service at the reception was pretty good and efficient. Restaurants "à la carte" really worth it, especially the japanese and the steakhouse. The buffet was okay but not fantastic. Beach was great but not as wide as expected. Overall, it worth it if you are looking for vacation that doesn't cost too much where you can enjoy many activities and meet amazing staff!!

  • 3/5 Brianna R. 2 years ago on Google
The resort and staff were great. Room set up was a litte difficult for a family of 5. The kids camp was awesome and staff were very attentive. The shower was a horrible design and would get water everywhere. Looks cool, but bad design. Pools were clean and very nice. Scheduling restaurants was nearly impossible. We were able to book one night in a restaurant and we did that on our first day. We had to do buffets for every meal after that. Overall it was a great experience. Good family friendly resort. Easy to find things. The rooms were just ok. We've stayed in some fantastic rooms at adult-only in the DR.

We just stayed at Grand Palladium Palace from 3/10 - 3/20. I didn't want to leave!! The grounds are absolutely beautiful, beaches breathtaking, every staff member so helpful and friendly, multiple pools to choose from that are kept very clean and our room was beautiful with wonderful views! It really doesn't matter which of the 4 resorts that you stay at since you can enjoy all the amenities that they all have to offer. The resort also offers the "train" that runs all day to take you to the different locations. Not all resorts offer this and is very helpful. Many restaurants to choose from with wonderful selections and I highly recommend doing the Chic cabaret dinner show. We cannot wait to come back! We made some amazing memories

We had the BEST holiday. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, especially the pool side staff. Coca Cola and Chocolate made everything so much fun and really created a fun-friendly atmosphere by including everyone in water sports, aerobics and dancing at the different parties. Jose Luis at the pool bar was also very friendly and always checking in on us throughout the day with drinks. These staff really went above and beyond to make an effort to speak with us daily with friendly, open conversation. Would definitely come back to this hotel and recommend to anyone! Gona miss the Grand Palladium Palace family! <3

We've had the best stay at The Grand Palladium! The food, drinks and staff are amazing! Everyone is very helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Would 100% recommend. Look out for the entertainment staff around the pool, Chocolate & his team are fantastic entertainers. Lots of options to join in different activities all day and lots of fun! Jose Luis is one of the waiting staff around the pool, very friendly and helpful! Thank you for making our stay the best! 5 stars!! :)

Hotel is very good. Beach is wonderful and there are many swimming pools we could use. There are many restaurants and bars all around the hotel and every night we could enjoy good food and drinks. We enjoyed the most the service in the Lobby Bar & swimming pool one. The service there was very good in general and Jose Luis as waiter and Rodolfo from animation team were very friendly The service in the other areas was not so good and there is place for improvements.

My husband and I stayed here for 6 days and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our room was clean and fresh, housekeeping came daily to replenish the bar and the linens and clean the room. Everyone of the staff members were extremely friendly and accommodating from the time we walked in until the time we left the resort. Dolores & Yomira were awesome receptionists! They made sure we had what we needed during our stay and they were always welcoming and friendly! Awesome resort to stay in!

The service here is absolutely fantastic, any issue that came up the team at Grand Palladium Palace would be able to solve it. Specifically, Helen, Jose, and Louisa from concierge, these three individuals are hands down the best employees that the resort has!! The first day I realized I forgot my laptop charge and they called so many people to find a charger for me so I was able to do all the work I had. We also had issues with our room and they were on top of it to get the issue fixed. Would definitely recommend coming here!

This is one of the best vacations of my life. I have a great time with my wife.I want to think Sopita and the ET team including Coca Cola and Barbie. The staff has done their best to offer the best accommodations available to everyone. Raul is a great bartender, ask him for his special. Mario and two young men named Jean Carlo know to do their job. In the Japanese restaurant Basilio is the man. Contact Antonio for your excursion, he is a good man. By the way, I am making this comment while I am having a good time.

You can’t beat the palace pool where William, Luis, Jose and the rest of the team are looking after you at the pool bar, making amazing drinks and such a fantastic welcome every day you wouldn’t want to be anywhere else! The entertainment team are also great fun and we enjoyed playing games every day with Coca Cola, Mirna, Joelvi and Chocolate. We have such a good laugh and the exercise classes are really good too especially after eating all the buffet food! Thanks again palace pool team for making our stay so memorable.

We had a great time at Grand Palladium Puntacana Resort. The room was above expectations and presented very well. The pools were varied and kept clean, the bar service by the pools was very efficient. There are lots of variety for food with lots of different cuisines to choose from. We stayed for 10 nights and ate at a different restaurant each night. Luis was very good around the pool, getting people involved in games and keeping us entertained.

The beaches are gorgeous, the food (and drinks) were delicious and the people are AMAZING. Everyone was so kind and accommodating during our entire stay whether it be giving us directions to find a new place to eat or getting to know us. Joel, Golden Boy and Luis in the entertainment group got to know us pretty well and encouraged us to take part in the various activities offered around the resort. We’ve never been to Punta Cana or this resort before, but after this experience we would definitely consider coming back here.

My family and I cannot say enough amazing things about this resort! The pool side entertainment is top notch, especially Sopeta. He has been so attentive to us to make sure we have the best experience possible and keeps us up to date on all the fun activities every night. The swim up bartender, Jose Luis, makes sure we have a drink in our hand as soon as we arrive. The lobby martini bartender again makes sure we are taken care of and remembers our favorite drink! The entire resort is very clean and sanitary. The only negative thing I would say is the buffet food I would rate 1/10, however, the restaurants you have to make reservations for is fantastic. If I could give this resort 6 starts, I absolutely would.

Ramon Leonardo was our waiter from day one. He took care of us while having morning coffee, during breakfast, and in the main dining room during dinner. He is an excellent server and pays attention to the fine detail during your dining experience. He made our trip extra special with his personality. Mildred at breakfast always made sure our coffee was hot and our water was filled. She was excellent as well. Bartenders Andres and Ruth at the main pool bar were excellent and took care of us while lounging at the pool. Janny, was an excellent yoga and stretching instructor. The Hemingway bar staff made awesome drinks and took care of us each night we stopped before dinner. Each server in the bar was phenomenal and added their special touch to the drinks and service. Overall our stay at the Grand Palladium Punta Cana was excellent and everyone took great care of us. The entertainment at the main pool could be a little bit better with more activities and contests throughout the day.

The spa was amazing, however I would say it was the best part of my entire week stay. The employees at the front desk are very rude and will ignore you to assist other people if they don't know how to help you. The people at the bar are nice. The person who restocks the mini bar in the room is a little creepy with how he stares at you and doesn't want to leave your room when he is done doing his job. He also lingers outside your door. They offer trolleys/trains to take you around the resort but they act like they don't want to pick you up, we had to wait an hour for one to stop and pick us up or just chose to walk to where we were trying to go.

This is a beautiful resort with excellent staff. We stayed here for over a week and loved our time. Our 2 year old son enjoyed the pools and the ocean. The daycare is also helpful so we could relax a few hours as well. Rooms are nice and very clean. All the staff is very friendly, drinks are excellent and the food is good. There is a huge selection at the buffets and different restaurants to choose from. My only remark would be the restaurant reservations. These need some work as we often had to wait 30minutes before being seated. A suggestion: a Dominican restaurant would be nice for visitors like myself.

The resort is absolutely beautiful. Our swim up room is amazing and clean! The people are soooo sweet. But, I’m very disappointed in the food and entertainment. They closed their club due to covid and never opened it back up.. the buffet food is nasty and cold:( I was expecting some Spanish food but there was none. We will see how the restaurant food is but we’re very disappointed in the breakfast & dinner buffet! Please do better with your food Grand Palladium!!!

My god, this place was beautiful, but it was also an internal dumpster fire! So, to begin, the service is not nominal. We had made several calls for carts with none showing up despite over-the-promises. We had massive issues just getting in as the service at the check-in was bad too. The rooms are flawed and have poor maintenance. The stairs are broken and flimsy and the balcony door wouldn't lock. The food is fine if you go to the right place, although at times it can taste horrible. The Black and White Junior Club is shabby but nice for playing with the family. They have a pool table, ping pong, and an assortment of video games. They also have air hockey, although the air does not come out. The location itself is undeniably beautiful though, with nice beaches. The pool is a nice experience with free drinks.

I had the best service at the pool bar. The best bartenders and the service at the pool bar was amazing. The resort definitely wasn’t 5 stars. There was some mildew in the bathtub. Someone stole $50 from my room. The food was horrible, it was the same thing for every meal every night. The beach was so tiny, you had to climb sand dunes to get a chair and it was very tight. I will honestly never go back again.

We just came back from our stay at Grand Palladium. We had a great time. The place was beautiful and well maintained. The food was very good . The only thing I would say is the service . Unfortunately, I had consistently bad experiences since the moment I arrived. Customer service is not great. Three of my friends had roaches in their rooms. I had dirty towels. Food is bad even the restaurants that required reservation at night. Rooms are old and outdated and need a revamp. Beach is beautiful though. But overall, this was not a pleasant stay so unfortunately, we won’t be coming back.

Wonderful experience from beginning to end! Welcoming and friendly staff. Everyone was super helpful in giving us directions on how to get around. The servers were great and funny! The rooms are high-tech and luxury style and offer privacy for couples. The the night time shows are so much fun. The beach was only a short walk away and was not crowded. Our room had a nice pool view. My daughter loved the pool, a very family friendly environment but also great for just couples to venture. Great variety of food and the room service is very timely! 10/10 I would definitely recommend.

The resort as such was a great place and had a great experience. The rooms and the place was well maintained and enjoyed our stay there. The restaurants offered a great variety of food items and was of good quality. Though the stay part was good, I had an issue with my booking at their website. Whenever you search for 4 adults, the results gets displayed and you are allowed to book any of the rooms listed under it. And each of them show maximum occupancy of 5 which really is confusing. When I search for 4 adults then you should have displayed 2 rooms and should have asked me to book 2 rooms. Instead it just allows me to proceed with the booking and completes booking for 2 adults (instead of 4 adults). In any other website, if I search for 4 adults or 2 adults & 2 kids, the entire process remembers my search and provides accommodation for what I search. But only in your website, it shows rooms for 2 adults, when I search for 4 adults. This is definitely deceiving and finally made me pay $2800 extra for just my kids. I ended up paying more than double the fare for my kids alone. Their website has a serious lapse.

We had a great time overall!! We booked a pool view room but we're given a garden view. Fridge was not cold, room smelled very musty and did not get very cool. Staff weren't all that pleasant unless you were handing them money. In the last day, staff were very friendly and forcing you to give positive reviews. Some who we had never seen in our stay. Very poor taste. Food was ok. You won't go hungry.

Everyone has been very kind and welcoming! We had quite a few issues with our room and keys not working but it seemed they were eager to help us. All the staff were fun and always had high energy. Julio, William, Michael, Ramón, and Domingo were all AMAZING!!!

Great vacation, very happy with my choice this year. We are at Grand Palladium Palace, the staff is very helpful and friendly. Food is very good. We never had an issue to find a lounger at pool or beach, always enough for everyone. Our server at the pool Jose Luis was exceptional always checking on us even brought us water to keep hydrated when we didn't even ask, excellent service. I would return to this hotel again and would recommend it.

I went to this hotel in September to celebrate my wedding I took guests with me everything was fine until there were leaks in almost all of our rooms the leak came from the air conditioner above the wardrobe. I had my wedding dress hanging on the wardrobe door and all the rusty water from the air conditioning got on the dress, the hotel tried to wash it but they didn't have the facilities to do it they did it by hand and of course the stain didn't come out. The dress cost me £3000 and the best solution the hotel could find was to refund me £240 for the inconvenience of the leak and the damage to my dress as if it was my fault. I am currently in the process of taking them to court on a matter of principle. Stay away from this hotel
