    The aesthetics of the resort and Room are beautiful that’s pretty much the only good thing about this resort. Upon arriving the room smelled strongly of mold, requested a new room and that room smelled of mold as well. The bedding was damp. I paid US$175 for a full body massage at the spa and the employee had absolutely no idea what she was doing, it was not a proper massage at all a complete waste of my money!!. The beach is not a swimming beach, the water is very deep and has strong waves. to reserve a table for dinner you have to be up by 7 AM. Nobody goes on vacation to wake up at 7 AM. The reservation system is not explain to you and is outdated. Had no other options but to eat at the Buffet and the food is not that great. I got food poisoning for two days. One employee took my phone from my hand and made a fake review while I was at the buffet. room service takes forever. It took about 45 minutes to receive our luggage at our room the first day. The only good thing about this resort are the aesthetics, free drinks, and large pools. if you’re looking for a five-star resort I definitely would not recommend staying here.

    We attended a wedding during the rainiest weekend they've had in months. Although establishment is 5 years old several buildings were under water from major leaks. Venue was held while wait staff mopped floors to avoid a major catastrophe from happening. Wedding planner stood and watched and pretended all was well. Could use some schooling on how to be a planner and communicate with guests. (An agenda with times and schedule of festivities would have been great)! As for the hotel staff you can tell by just having a conversation with them who will be helpful and who will not. We did pay attention to some of the other reviews and things worked out for the best. We did take our bags to the room, ordered room service in advance did not attend the El Mercado if we could avoid it. Be aware if you pay with credit card you will have an 18% surcharge on top of the tab. We used cash and found no issue with wait staff. In conclusion the grounds are beautiful would I stay here again definitely not.

    Staff is super happy making the experience way better. A whole lot of fun stuff to do at night rather then just sitting in your room. Great experience and they even make it enjoyable for kids! The pool has a bunch of games and the shows at night are very fun to watch. The activities by the pool are a lot of fun with different games and volleyball. Luis, Ana, Danielle and Blue Team are very friendly and keep the party going all day long. They make the entire experience at the hotel one you won’t forget.

    Beautiful place to get away! Great restaurants, but most of all, great entertainment! Lots of activities, yoga, foam party, water aerobics... Everyone that works here is very attentive to all our needs and make sure that we are more than happy! We'll be back for sure! Luis "Banana" was the best!😃 Dancing, and great conversation! Always extremely helpful with everything at the pool! Special mention and thanks to Johan, and to Juan at the pool bar! Anna's entertainment was beyond excellent!

    My family and I came to this resort for 7 nights. It’s been very fun, everyday we did something different. They have incredible activities compared to other resorts that we have been too. Shout out to Daniel at the pool, he is full of life, extremely genuine and very fun to be around. Himself and his female entertainment partner were incredible. Overall, I would rate this resort a 8/10. Customer service was by far the best attribute at this resort. Nothing is perfect keep that in mind; especially when it comes to all-inclusive resorts. Last but not least, the entertainment for the kids and adults were AMAZING. Kudos to their entertainment team.

    All the food at the privilege restaurant was excellent! You really can tell that their whole crew, the cooks and the staff take time to make sure the food and the service are top notch! All of the food was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent and you don't have to wait long. It is a fantastic alternative to having to eat at the buffet. Horacio was an excellent person that helped for several breakfast meals.

    This resort is beautiful. You can do a little bit of everything they have many amazing restaurants and a beautiful beach you can walk to. The music is great food delicious and the staff are outstanding. Currently sitting at the pool bar and where Omar, Justina and John are giving excellent service, serving the best drinks and are very friendly! They deserve a raise because they are truly amazing! Can’t wait to come back!

    John, Omar, Justina provided excellent service at the privilege pool bar. Drink were well made, prompt, and they always had a smile. Very hospitable. Recommend the Italian and Hibachi for dinner. The privilege breakfast/lunch/dinner was also great anytime. Very much enjoyed our stay.

    Our family of 4 just stayed a week here and it was wonderful. The staff were all very helpful and the service was top notch. The entertainment crew always kept things fresh and gave us lots to do all day and throughout the night. Thanks to all for helping to make our holiday so wonderful. Especially Luis Banana!! Ricardo and the staff at the pool bar were fantastic too. Quick service and entertaining.

    Amazing place to get away! Beautiful and high quality restaurants, but most of all, great and engaging entertainment! So many of the activities, yoga, foam party, water aerobics, volleyball, etc. Everyone that works here is very attentive, caring and throughout to all our needs and made sure that we are more than happy! We'll be back for sure! Luis "Banana" was AMAZING!😃 Dancing, and great conversation from the first day. Always extremely helpful with everything at the pool! Special mention and thanks to Edwin and Juan at the pool bar! 10/10 highly recommended!

    I had a great stay! There is constant entertainment and lots to do at all times! Staff is super friendly and helpful whenever needed. Luis banana has been so much help and very friendly! He is very funny and talented and was fun to watch at the shows! Really enjoyed our trip. Also the bartender at the sports bar Elisa Rijo was so kind and helped me by explaining the different drink options. She also was pretty quick with bringing them back.

    Good location, lovely beaches! Poor service, not enough staff, asking for anything is like pulling teeth. One night, I had to call room service 6 times because they weren’t picking up their phone, or would hang up on me. Finally I had to call the front desk, tell them that room service was not answering, and THEY called to help me order. Upon arrival, it took me 4 phone calls just to get my bags to my room. Laundry refused to was any clothes that were not in perfect condition. At the buffet, several meals I ate entirely without anything to drink as multiple waiters walked past me. Additionally, when leaving, despite my employer booking to room and paying for my incidentals and telling me to leave the key in the room and not check out, the manager stood in the door of my vehicle and refused to let me leave until I went to check out and pay for the incidentals. While I understand his position, he could have charged the card the room was booked with, and he did not need to be as aggressive or stand in the door of my vehicle and block me from leaving. I suggested multiple times he call my employer to verify my statements, and he also refused to do that. It finally fell to the travel coordinator who happened to be at the same hotel and saw this commotion to talk the manager out of my vehicle and to solve the problem. Understaffed, terrible service but beautiful place.

    First, I would like to state that the service staff are amazing. The place is massive, and every nook seems to have something happening. From mini. Concerts to entertainment/games with the guests. They’re accommodating to requests and very friendly. The food has been exceptional! Room service, overall cleanliness and the cleaning staff been very pleasant. Lastly, visually the grounds are beautiful. With gorgeous flourishing flowers , captivating greenery, and add in a lazy River into the mix if you get tired from the ocean/beach. Overall I would highly recommend this place to stay. = )

    This is by far the worst all inclusive resort I have been to, and I have been to a lot. This is at best a 3 star hotel. Yet it claims to be a 5 star. The service is really bad. The staff interacted with us with attitude at least 80% of the time, we felt as we were bothering them.. some of them mumbled some Spanish insults when we simply asked for ketchup or water At the buffet, the servers did not offer a good service. They never refilled our water nor replaced our dishes, nor payed attention to our needs. On the beach we were constantly harassed by vendors, and one of them insulted us in Spanish when we declined buying his products. The towel stand is closed 50% of the time.. so we had to keep using our wet towel all day. Food was BAD at the buffet, And acceptable at the restaurants. Not many vegetarian options. Our room was not at the level of 5 star hotel. The curtains , bed head and bedside lamps were full of stains and were not clean. We saw many cockroaches next to our room, we had to put towels underneath our door to make sure they didn’t get in. Although the cleaning lady was nice did a good job. The beach was ok. The activities could be better.. I can’t wait to leave this place.. what a ruined vacation.

    Some of the staff is outstanding. So outgoing that we are now friends. Always going out of their way to help in areas that they don’t even work in. Of special note are: Jhon- pool bartender. He always has a big smile and greeting even we are just crossing paths. The nicest person you will ever met anywhere. Always hard working and keeping the guests happy. We would spend most of the afternoons chatting with him and having his special drink cocktails made just for us. Krill- restaurant hostess. We met her on the first day and she helped us get dinners every night even at restaurants she wasn’t managing that restaurant. Great person. Perfect person to be in charge of organizing and managing. Omar- another great bartender at the pool. Made friends so easily on day one. We missed him when he was off. Special people like this are what makes a resort special. We will definitely be coming back to see our friends and enjoying the resort with all the amenities.

    The staff and customer service here are awful. I get that covid has effected it, but the staff don't seem to want to be here at all, at times ignoring us or just walking away completely. Totally agree about the lack of restaurants open. And you have to line up at 6pm and hope to get in, awful system. Check in took an hour, there were only 3 people in line ahead of us. Awful. The room was really nice though, the buffet had a big selection, but the bad service and lack of communication ruined the whole experience. And although this is advertised as a 24hr resort it is not at all. Not sure how late the bar is open but you cannot get any drink at all until 10am in the mornings. Good luck eating anywhere other than the buffet. Definitely won't be back. Oh and if you think you can tip for better service, there's no currency exchange on site and after asking 10 staff including the front desk no one could make change for us, so we couldn't tip.

    I’m beyond happy with this hotel! This is my first time and I’ll definitely be back again! The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable and everything we needed for our room was provided. The entertainment team around the pool was amazing! I’m so happy that they had activities planned everyday. The best part is that they always make sure you’re having a great time! 😊 Luis from entertainment team always asked if we were ok and if we were having fun!

    Everything was better an I ever imagined. It’s honestly like a dream. The lobby looks straight out of a movie. It’s a luxurious hotel that is very family friendly. The hotel had a beautiful clean private beach. They have dancing shows, beach activities, amazing food, and so much more. Staff is so friendly, helpful, and very hardworking. I will be coming back!

    The customer service at this resort was absolutely terrible. The staff members were incredibly rude and unhelpful, which made our stay extremely frustrating. Additionally, room service was a nightmare. It took them forever to bring us our food, leaving us starving and disappointed. The worst part was the buffet. It had the exact same food every single day with no variation whatsoever. It felt like we were eating the same bland meals on repeat, which quickly became monotonous and unappetizing. making reservations at restaurants was quite difficult. The resort had limited dining options, and it seemed like everyone wanted to eat at the same few restaurants. As a result, it was challenging to secure a reservation, especially during peak dining hours. It would have been much more convenient if the resort had a better system in place for making reservations or if they had more dining options available. Overall, I would not recommend this resort to anyone looking for a pleasant and enjoyable vacation.

    Stayed at Ocean El Fara in Punta Cana. My experience was amazing. The hotel is well maintained, rooms are beautiful and most importantly the staff were amazing and accommodating in every way. I enjoyed the man meal options, poolside activities for families, day and night time entertainment. I recommend this hotel resort to families and couples who just want yo experience luxury and peace. Luis banana entertainment was excellent. High energy, different types of festivities

    Excellent resort. Staff is very friendly; easy to communicate with, helpful and knowledgeable in questions about the history and geography of the country. Rooms are spacious and clean, home away from home truly applies to this resort. The pools and their surroundings are very well kept. The restaurants and dining rooms are clean and inviting. Entertainment on this resort is superb. Erick.greily.Wilkins.esteban.the best dancer Day or night you can find something interesting to do or see, and guest participation is always encouraged. Bars are well stocked and service is good.

    We had a great stay at Ocean El Faro! The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. There was also a lot of entertainment and activities throughout the day. Loved the selection of fresh fruit juices at the buffet, the lazy river, and Mike’s coffee. It was very easy to book dinner reservations through the app. The only downside is that the food quality could be better, but for the price we paid we have no complaints!

    We are really enjoying our crew of entertainers, Tripley, Franco, Wanda, Juan, and the DJ. They are out there everyday giving it their all. From teaching dance lessons, pool side, to swim aerobics, to fun contests. They are making our stay here very enjoyable!! Elizabeth took care of us every evening, delivering delicious drinks with a smile. She is a fabulous waitress, who contributed to our wonderful experience! Alexander, our butler, was amazing! He tended to our every need, from booking reservations, to picking us up and driving us to dinner! The resort is walkable, but he offered to take us to our dinners. We are 6 adults all around 60 years of age. We love to have a good time, and we did! We like to be active, dance, drink, eat, play games, and we especially enjoyed the lazy River! If you don’t have a good time here, there’s something wrong with you.

    Had an excellent stay here! Staff were wonderful, lots of food selection, loved the lazy river. Entertainment is great, always something to do, foam party was a lot of fun.     The only thing I could fault was key card not working once we had checked in !! 6 times my husband went back to reception and not fun when all u want to do is go a bed after 12 hours travelling.. Marlene on guest services finally found the fault as reception kept telling him card had been near mobile . Excellent service from Marlene, but from then on holiday was excellent. Eric from bowling alley was brilliant Anna , &Wanda was absolutely brilliant at their jobs . Elizabeth &Betsy and referee in sports bar were very attentive and always served us with the drinks . Lobby bar staff were excellent also and Benito who done the fried eggs in morning was always cheerful and had a little dance in the morning very friendly person . Last was the cleaning staff room was always clean and fresh just cant fault them they were brilliant

    Franco always kept the party going at the pool. Such a nice man and so lovely to speak to. Amazing dancer too. Dauris, always made sure we had a fresh drink, so polite and well mannered. Every morning he would say hello and give us a smile without doubt. They’re such hard working people, never a dull moment around them. Such a lovely hotel, I would recommend to everyone.

    The resort itself is very clean and looks new, but it's not a 5 star resort as it's advertised. It's not a huge place; you can walk from the lobby to the end of the beach in around 10 minutes. The staff we met was nice, but communication was a bit difficult with some of them. Most of the food from the restaurants was warm, not hot at all. There are not many vegetarian options, but the buffet was nice. The resort has not updated the website as we paid for privilege, but the privilege lounge wasn't open, and it's still under construction. The privilege room service also has no vegetarian options, and it still took 45 minutes to arrive, and all the food was cold. Certain restaurants close on random days, and there is no way of knowing before. The timings are off and really odd; there isn't any food or cafe place open late at night, and everything closes early and at the same time. The menus are really small for each restaurant; they could have a better variety and some more selection. Otherwise, the bowling alley and tennis court was fun to play in, and the beach and pools are nice. The website stated and the resort has a teen club sign, but there was nothing when we got to the resort. We also had some complaints that we brought to attention, but no one cared or followed up on it. Overall, I didn't have a bad time here, but I wouldn't come here again or recommend anyone to come here. All the other families we met said they were first time visitors and were disappointed with the place. They have a lot of things they need to fix.

    Great place. Beautiful. Awesome gyms and restaurants. I wish the pools when stay open later into the night along with the pool bars. Some workers are very helpful and very nice like Omar(pool bar tender) and Juan(waiter) Some not so much. Overall would definitely recommend.

    my experience at this resort was not the best. There is no variety of food, the hotel staff need training and teach them how to treat people, the only person in the entire resort that I highly recommend is Luis Francisco is a great guy very professional and he knows how to treat people well. Maybe in the future when everything returns to normal it may be a good place to vacation but otherwise I do not recommend it..

    Beautiful resort and excellent staff. Buffet food was ok wasn’t expecting high end but had a lot of variety. Room was nicer than I expected but with a few quirks like the doors not closing properly and bad paint jobs. Overall though that is cosmetic. Room service was nice and employees were phenomenal. Sad about the actual beach since it was covered in algae but was told it is normal for this time of year and the hotel hires a crew to clear the beach which they were. Great for the price the and drinks to me were not weak at all. Not a lot of people at this time which I love. Would come again and I recommend to others.

    Franyely, the best bar tender from the bowling alley. She made our trip memorable and was very attentive to all of our needs and wants. Very friendly and always remembered our drinks and our names. Always friendly and welcoming and we had a great time every night with her!! Can't wait to come back and see her!!

    T he very best about this hotel is the stunning beach views, the beach itself is rather rocky. but simply the most stunning location none the less. The hotel is understaffed so I understand, but based on this trip it will likely be my last time to the Dominican. Let me advise I am a platinum member, the service level at this hotel is not even one, the worst, hard to pick, not correct room assigned despite booking 6 months ahead of time ,non working rooms keys, broken safe, two hours for room service on multiple occasions, the Butlers were very mediocre, but likely the Privilege Restaurant wins, nothing privilege about it, maybe the view, multiple inquiries to multiple staff and not even water after 45 minutes, when I reported it to the Privilege Manager, it was evident that it fell on deaf ears. The buffet is good, hit the back of the buffet for the fresh omelets, the best was our dinner at the Italian Restaurant one of our last nights, the food was amazing and Ramon the server was EXCELLENT and the best service we received all week. If you are going to sell privilege service, it would be ideal to provide same.

    Overall the hotel is clean and beautiful. The food is delicious although there is a wait for some of the restaurants. The entertainment staff are amazing!!! Especially Ana, Wander and Wilkins. So friendly and they really went out of their way to make sure we had the best time. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to travel to Punta Cana.

    My housekeeper was amazing, I hope the staff read this and see that the woman cleaning room 10111 deserves a BIG shout out. She let me practice my Spanish with her and we had great conversations, she treated me like her own family. I actually miss her. The resort was incredibly beautiful and the people working there were friendly and accommodating. There were some minor inefficiencies, like being told my luggage would be in my room in 10 minutes when it took over an hour. By the way, they NEED to put up warning signs on the beach about the rip current. It wasn't a fun start to my trip almost drowning... But everything else was amazing... The food was really good and everything was just beautiful. I highly recommend this resort and I will definitely be back. Edited: I forgot to add that the room service is terribly lacking as mentioned in other reviews. If you call at 9am and ask for water, they might bring it by 7pm... And then they expect a tip for that kind of service... No. Bring your own big water bottles and fill them up at the bars or you're gonna be waiting a LONG time for water. This is pretty much my only complaint about this resort.

    Absolutely stunning resort! Highly recommend for families! Lots of space that you don't feel crowded. Even when the resort is at 100% capacity. Only con - bring your own tubes for the lazy river. Or you can purchase them at the resort for 3 times the price. The food was great, service was great. Overall amazing experience. The beach is amazing, no resorts beside you to share with. Will definitely return!

    Everything was amazing, the only problem was that they never filled up the mini bar in our room! Other than that, if you want fast and good service, go to the bowling. Erick and Esfreydy are the best! They made sure we had a good time, a good drink and bonus; they have beautiful smiles! Thanks guys, our trip will always be very memorable!! 💕

    Lovely holiday. The hotel is amazing and staff can’t do enough for you! Lots of food places to choose from, we stayed for two weeks and didn’t get bored of what was on offer. Plenty of space for all guests so never felt over crowded. The entertainment team, especially Johan & Erick were amazing and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend coming to any couple looking to come here.

    I have mixed feelings after staying here last week. My boyfriend and I booked here because it looked affordable for what you seemed to be getting. First off, the room was gorgeous. It was as promised minus some lights not working. Very spacious and looked newly renovated. The aesthetic of most of the resort was great. The weather was perfect and sunny each day. We also appreciated the entertainment provided each night either in the theatre or outside in the common area. Here are some things that we took off points for. My biggest issue was that people were trying to sell me things at every corner of the resort. I knew this was probably going to be a thing at the airport but did not expect to have to deal with this at the resort. People were not standing by waiting for me to approach them, they were actively harassing us to come see what they were selling. This happened on the walks to our room, at the beach, on the way to the lobby, and at the pool - everywhere. The food was overall pretty underwhelming. The display in the food hall was grand but the quality was sub-par. We did book reservations at three of the restaurants and the Japanese cuisine was by far the best. We gave that a 10/10. The Italian restaurant was bland and the Mexican restaurant took and hour to serve us then the food was cold when it came out. The drinks across the resort were very weak. That was a big bummer as this was a huge selling point for us when we booked. I'm unsure if this is standard at all-inclusives, but when you pay the price, you expect a good drink. The service was at a glacial and rude pace if you did not have a tip in your hand, this includes getting non-alcoholic drinks at the food hall. I like to tip here and there but tipping for every interaction seems a bit much when again, you paid in advance. I hope this information helps.

    Our stay review yielded an average rating of 3 stars. The primary factor influencing this rating was the quality of the food at the resort. Additionally, I found the dinner service, which began at 18:30 for the buffet, to be quite late in my opinion. It's advisable to wake up early and queue for a reservation at one of the "fine dining" establishments. However, the food at these upscale options received a rating of 1.5. On a positive note, the kiddie pool was enjoyable and suitable for our little one. It was peculiar that guests had to bring their own float for the lazy river.

    The entertainment team never fail to amaze. Every morning, afternoon and evening they are putting on shows and activities along with games and foam parties in the pool. I would 100% recommend all staff are lovely and make an effort. Johan and Rodrigo from the entertainment team are so welcoming and really put in the effort to make sure you are having a good time. There are many things to do at this resort me and my partner came for 2 weeks and did not get bored once.

    Rooms are beautiful and spotless clean. Bar fridge has stocked some beer and pops in it. Very large washroom with plenty of towels. Service is amazing, always someone asking if you need anything and lots of staff. Prompt service if you tell them you need something. You are initially attacked upon arrival by the valet bell hops and vendors at the front area but you can be firm and say no thank you and they will leave you alone. Location is a bit of a drive from the airport but probably one of the closest locations so overall very good. Overall resort is very clean and lots of amenities. Staff is amazing.

    I feel totally disappointed, I don't want to visit this hotel ever again. A few months ago I visited the hotel with my wife and my son, our experience was excellent in every way. For this reason, for a trip with some friends we decided to recommend this hotel but the experience was far from the initial one. The service in every way leaves a lot to be desired, the staff constantly responds or treats with a bad attitude as if something is affecting them and they want to make the guests pay. It's very unfortunate that these things overshadow other aspects of the overall experience. Pros: The room was again really nice and cozy. Everything was very clean and organized. The buffet even though doesn't have an immense variety of options, most of the ones that are offered are actually really good. The drinks are also well prepared. Cons: The service was awful. The burger snack personal was really impolite, one of the bartenders from the sport bar was not very kind until you tip him. The personal in general was not positive nor kind when we asked for any information. I don't like to recommend things to friends that turnouts to be bad so this was not a good experience for me or my friends.

    Esfreydy is the best bartender in the resort. We also met Erick in the bowling alley. Both of them were very big parts of our good time every night. They helped provide a good time before going to the Disco Bar, and I would definitely come back for them.

    Justina, Jhon and Fernando were the most friendliest and lovable staff we encountered at this resort!!! They are so friendly and were always willing to go the extra mile for me and my best friend!!! We were there in May and had an amazing time! The only disappointment here I found was the lack of entertainment compared to the other resort we had gone to in march and the one we just went to now in July!!! The club was great but not a lot of people there!!! The food was good and there was a lot of variety but unfortunately the staff isn’t well aware of the ingredients as I have a cilantro allergy and was told that one dish didn’t have it and as soon as I ate it I had to take allergy meds as my mouth started to tingle and tongue started to swell!!!

    Fabulous hotel, we spent the majority of our time around the pool and John and Justina are fabulous bar tenders, very attentive, very friendly, make great cocktails and make the whole experience great. Rosely was our guest services host, she was very efficient very friendly. Would highly recommend.

    Overall this is a good hotel for a one-week vacation with great service, view and variety of activities. The pools and lazy river are my favorite places. However, I take one star off for the difficulty of booking a seat in some of the restaurants within the hotel. The booking system opens at 8am daily and the seats will soon be booked up within only a few minutes. Saying that, you literally need to set an alarm for 8am and have to be very quick when clicking on the buttons in the system. Who wants this type of rush for vacation? Also, the beach is narrow and sometimes full of seaweeds but I’m not taking a start off for this reason since it’s not a big deal to me plus not the hotel’s issue. Generally, it’s a good hotel and resort. BTW, there are many bars around within the resort but personally the bar in the lobby is the best! The cafeteria is also wonderful but it seems to be understaffed.

    My lady and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary at this place. Overall the experience was pleasant and enjoyable and I’m kind of grasping at straws trying to find anything wrong with it. The room was beautiful, ice cold adjustable A/C, stocked mini fridge, comfy bed, clean bathroom and bolted down safe. The amenities were pretty much endless, beautiful pools, tons of bars serving pretty decent liquor and TONS of quite high end restaurants. Anything I didn’t particularly enjoy came down to taste so I won’t knock marks off for it as everybody is different and it was evident the resort is sparing no expenses to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. The beach is beautiful, the drinks are well made, the staff is friendly and there’s an endless amount of activities to do. I will say, however, although delicious, the food lacks variety. Not too much to choose from for breakfast/lunch. Dinner I’d say you’re set as there’s like 10 restaurants and you only need a reservation for 2 or 3. The temperature is quite humid and HOT, I love that personally, but if you don’t I’d avoid this place (again, preference not a problem). The shows are pretty wild in that they’re above your average resort show room experience. A good amount of the staff don’t speak much English, a little bit frustrating but if you show just a bit of patience you’ll see it’s really not that big of a deal. Overall, Ocean El Faro left a very pleasant taste in my mouth, I’m currently writing on my way home from this place and I haven’t been this relaxed and ready to get back to work in YEARS. This trip was excellent for my lady and I and we will be recommending it to everyone we know!

    Hector, Jhon, and Justina were great bartenders at the pool bar. Great drinks, awesome service, and super friendly. Would come back just to see this crew. Room service on the other hand was not so good, but we Spent lots of time at the pool which made up for it. All of the restaurants were amazing as well!

    So much fun and the show set up was done fantastic!!! Good job staff Drinks are fantastic, decorations were done perfect. Entertainment staff are very interactive with the guests. Will definitely come back again and recommend this resort to friends and family.

    Wonderful!!! The place is so beautiful, and the service is fantastic. One particular waiter, Emmanuel (waiter number 1), made our trip even that much better. We asked for his waiter number too, just because we wanted him to get the recognition he deserved! My mother and I loved it here and would recommend it to anyone.

    I am giving 5 stars for the Staff. Jhon at the bar by building 4 was amazing! He made sure we never wanted for anything , and even though he was busy, he came over to our swim up suite and got our drinks so we never even had to leave the pool!!! He was the best part of our stay. Very friendly and conscientious!!!

    Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your room. This web site will compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the best in this area. I have been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you won't regret it. I loved this resort and I'm planning to go back. Great facilities, rooms, great food, friendly and helpful staff. My experience was 1A in all senses.

    First time traveler. Wow. Excellent resort. It was through the lens of COVID protocols. So less staff, no swim up bar. On the plus side, less people/tourist, staff very friendly, lots of quiet and shady spaces. Typical sales pitch, day one, and aggressive beach sales guys. Couldn't help but think of Vin Diesel, family memes. Would go back again

    Amazing stay, first time here would definitely be back. The service, food and entertainment was truly amazing! Different entertainment each night!! We looked forward each night to the entertainment and shows. Dancing, music, Michael Jackson etc. Love Ocean El Faro, Hache from the entertainment team is awesome!!

    Omar and naiomi the bartenders was the best. They serve great drinks, always filling my drinks up and I came by myself. They made me feel like they was on vacation with me. The pool bar area I can sit all day. I love the service and everything they do. Make sure you tip them you come. They are worth it. ❤️.

    The pool at the hotel has a swim up bar with seat and I like that it’s waste deep and has a shallow bit to sit on so great for the children. The entertainment round the pool has been great! I love the Aqua aerobics: yoga and my husband has loved playing the fun games - volley ball etc with Erick Bowling & Daniel.. even the kids joined in! (Age 5 & 8) . All the staff are very friendly and welcoming and great with kids.

    We came for our honeymoon and enjoyed ourselves. This is the second time we have been to the resort and we did notice a few changes both good and poor. First thing we noticed is that they added a new restaurant (privilege) and changed the fish to a Brazilian (good switch in our opinion). They are really good with allergies at the resort. As my husband is allergic to anything out of the water lol. We did notice that the food quality has dropped a bit from the last time we were here but not drastically. Route 66 bring back the chicken wings they were so good last time. They were constantly keeping up on the resort by fixing paint chips and etc. They were adding more umbrellas for shade but definitely need to add more. But like I said were consistently adding more. Consistency between bars lack as the drink is not always the same. We did privilege and absolutely loved our butler Alexander. He was incredible! Keeping him is a must. Overall we were happy once again. Nice and clean resort.

    The resort and staff were nice for the most part. However we had several issues from the air conditioning not working in our room to not being able to get into restaurants for dinner. We would not consider this resort to be more than a 3 star at best and unfortunately we will not be returning. The restaurants did not accept reservations (although had wait lists) and we were turned away twice (almost 3 times) at the Steakhouse and once finally able to get a table, there was no steak available to order (only on Fridays apparently). The beach had a lot of seaweed so we spent much of our time in the pool and the bartenders were great! All In all it was finally nice to get away on a vacation.

    Family of 22 has spent the last week at the resort and it’s been amazing. We have 12 kids between 10 adults and the services has been exceptional! Omar, Fernando, and Justina kept us coming back to the same bar. They were amazing and their drinks were even better!! Definitely recommend for all ages, there’s something to do for everyone in the family!!

    Beautiful resort. The staff are wonderful. At check in our room wasn't clean. The patio looked like drinks were spilled and left to dry. The patio door looked like it was wiped with a wet rag and left to dry. The shower floor tiles had black on the grout. Definitely didn't expect this with a 5star resort. I went to the front desk with my concerns. They very quickly resolved the issue. By the time I got back to the room they had a maid cleaning that room and moved us to another room. We were happy with the great service. We didn't upgrade to privilege so maybe the rooms are better if you do. The beach was great. The weather as usual in Punta Cana was wonderful. The buffet had so many choices. The food was good. The restaurants were a bit disappointing. No reservations required as stated on website. There's a bit of waiting around to get in, if you can get in. We went to Route66 the menu was underwhelming. Only a few choices. The Mexican restaurant was the same. The buffet was always good so we ate their. The resort grounds are absolutely stunning. Great place for kids. So much for them to enjoy. Although we had a little problem at check in, I would definitely recommend this resort. Lots of entertainment at night as well. Again, the staff are very accommodating.

    First time in Dominican Republic and having the best time ever. The pool bar is the best. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Juan, Domingo, Alberto, Maria, and Leidy, thank you for the great drinks and service provided to help us cool down from the heat. From pool activities to yoga to music, everything has been amazing. Johan and Erick are awesome with the fitness activities and entertainment. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
