My favorite restaurant in Saigon! This place has a very welcoming atmosphere that I absolutely love. You will likely spend hours here downing delicious Sapporo draft or Sake and eating equally delicious yakitori. The service is absolutely outstanding. I can't say enough good things about this fantastic joint. Last visited 19-Feb-2021.

38k for Sapporo draft. Great atmosphere. Many Japanese salarymen. Many varieties of yakitoro. There is an upstairs but we sat at the counter. Very friendly staff. Less one star as I didn’t know smoking was allowed inside. Person next to me fired up 3 cigarettes before leaving. Overall, very nice place. Changed to 5 stars as I visited a second time and then another place around the corner. Definitely, a very nice place to dine.

The bbq is the best of all dishes 👍🏼 But the other are also tasty. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly, too.

Great Japanese food in HCMC at a good price. We had a few sushi rolls, the udon, some yakitori, and something else. Everything was great but we most enjoyed the fried eel and avocado roll then the udon. Would order everything again though. Great stuff and friendly service!

The place to go for YAKITORI. We bring our Japanese clients and friends here whenever they want the authentic Japanese vibe. Located in Japan-Town, make sure you reserve a table by calling ahead. Spots are hard to come by after 7pm. A great place for beers, sushi, yakitori and more. Guaranteed to please.

I went here with my friend and we ordered some skewers, sushi, udon, chicken... The food was so so bad. Everything is salty and terrible. Not recommend!

From the outside this place might not look delicious, but when you get inside and order some thing, it’s busy and noisy and popular all the food that we ordered here was really good even the garnishes and the side dishes that were offered for free we’re really great and don’t spend time too much in this area. It can be a bit shady, but this restaurant is top-notch and consistently good

A great Japanese food experience at Torisho inside Little Japan Town Saigon. The space quite small and crowded since opening hours. So you may book a table before arrive. About their culinary, we ordered 5-style sashimi, grilled eel, marinated jellyfish and salmon avocado rolls. All are delicious and the sashimi was so fresh. I could not pick out the best dish during my visit. But marinated jellyfish with cucumber for me is a must-call side dish. Staffs are super friendly and helpful. You can also sit at the bar to see the chefs cook your food eye-to-eye

A cozy Japanese restaurant in the centre of Saigon. The food is cooked before you and it is absolutely delicious! The staff are very attentive and very nice!

Not a nice place to eat. Okonomiyaki is soggy and not flavourful. The pork on top of it is so hard. The skewers are also not delicious.

Somewhat sleezy district but the food is good. The sashimi taste icy like frozen fish. Order the skewers is a safer bet.

I was lucky enough to stumble upon this place last Saturday. I tried quite a few dishes and all were delicious. The restaurant's design is expertly crafted and makes you feel like you're in Japan, from the seats at the counter, to the menus in Japanese hanging above the counter. I was lucky enough to meet the owner who has really worked hard to get this restaurant into the tastiest Japanese restaurant in HCMC. The fact it also has the cheapest draft Sapporo I've seen in HCMC, is another cause for celebration

Pretty good izakaya place, food is fairly good and price is ok too. One of the waitresses is quite unresponsive and quiet when I asked question. The menu is not as extensive as some other izakaya places nearby.

Yakitori place at a decent price. Also recommended by my Japanese friends. They too recommend it. So that's an endorsement from the Japanese themselves with regards to the quality of food. Taste good, nice ambience but super packed. It's advised to make reservations before you go. Else it's unlikely for you to get a place.

Easily my favourite izakaya in town, there is a reason why you need to book well in advance to eat here. Great selection of skewers, and drinks. Staff is attentive and you can easily split in a group the bill based on what you ate. Recommended on all fronts.

Authentic Japanese joint at the edge of Japantown. Lovely hot sake and wide selection of sharing plates. Good place to go with a group before heading out on a Friday.

The interior decor -images and TV ads- generated vintage feelings here, like the feeling of good old time in Japan during 1970s I guess. The food was delicious! I love the sake going with them, hot sake during the meals, and sake on the rock as final taste to end the whole course (since the waitress suggested this sake going with ice as its alcohol level is too high, like 45% or something, which is a perfect refreshing drink after lots of hot food with hot sake).
