Great Thai restaurant. It tasted rich and flavourful, and not the kind of Vietnamese-style Thai cuisine. The space is nice and not crowded when I visited, really comfortable to dine in. There is a cinema right across the street which makes it suitable for a dating dinner.

If you're looking for a Thai food fix in Saigon, Somtam ZAAP is a great option. It's conveniently located near the bustling Nguyễn Huệ street, and there's another branch nearby as well. When we arrived, we were impressed by the cozy and comfortable atmosphere of the two-story restaurant. We ordered two classic Thai dishes - stir-fried flat noodles and tom yum soup with rice. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. It felt like comfort food to us. We highly recommend these dishes to anyone looking for some tasty Thai food in Saigon. Good service. Thai food is just ok. I used to go there 2 years ago and the food was much more better: The grilled pork neck was too tried and not juicy. The crunchiness of fried chicken wings has also changed and doesn’t taste good.

Food was fine. The fried minced catfish was interesting; probably quite unhealthy but well worth a try. Parking is 10k.

Not impressive at all. Was not lived up to the hype. The pad thai was okay but shrimps kind of dried. Looks like shrimps were frozen shrimps not fresh. The papaya salted egg salad was really salty but not as flavorful like a typical salted egg. Tom yum soup was alright. Grilled beef was well seasoned but dried. If you cannot eat spicy then ask them for dipping sauce no chillies because it was very spicy. Services was good.

Food is pretty good here but portions are on the small size for the price. Service is pretty fast here. One thing that annoys me is that they bring out each dish individually which doesn't work for family style meals. All entrees should be brought out at the same time. If you know what family style meals are then you'll know how annoying this can be.

Visited this place for lunch. Ordered Som Tum with shrimps and grilled pork neck. Besides the fact that it was the tiniest portion of grilled pork ever (which tasted good though), I enjoyed my food. It tasted balanced and authentic. Service was good as well.

Very good experience. The taste is very close to Thai. It could be a bit more spicy, but it was nice to switch a bit from the vietnameze food.

Overall good, friendly staff. Mango sticky rice is very good. Green thai curry was well cooked. Fried catfish was brilliant. Somtam was nice and fresh ingredients. Padthai was a bit sticky,less wok smell. Tomyam is too sour.

Brought my cousins here for late dinner (09:00 PM) and they really enjoyed it. All the dishes were still fresh and yummy. Its not easy to keep the consistency up! Must try: trứng lòng đào!

The food was great. If you want to dine in during 6-8pm, you'd better book a table in advance. And you better go in a group of four or more so that the price would be more affordable.

Was excited to try the place out however had a pretty disappointing experience while there for dinner. The crispy fish with mango salad was decent. The pad thai was average. The grilled pork looked and tasted like it was deep fried, was quite dry and the sauce was a bit too sour for my taste.

Very tasting food without being overly salty/ sweet/ etc. Quite balanced flavors. Recommded for food. What makes me uncomfortable was that they requested the payment to be made to a personal account or in cash (no cards accepted). I am guessing they want to evade paying taxes. I hoped a well-known franchised restaurant in a central biz district shouldnt have had such an obvious tax evasion practice as this.

Their food was cooked by Thai chef so its taste was kept 100% original, very impressive n yummy. Highly recommend: Somtum, Pork BBQ, Fried Frog, Tom yum, Violet glutinous rice (xôi nếp than) and Lemon tea. The location is very cozy in the center. Their space n decor are small and simple. Their staff sometime liked to talk together and could not hear us or the next table's order, we had to try to call them many time.

Ordered coconut chicken soup, Thai beef steak, and fried flat noodles with chicken. The steak was horrible, noodles were okay, and the soup was good. Also, the sticky rice and milk tea were barely edible. Limited menu of Southern Thai food. Won’t go back.

As someone who has lived in Thailand for 5 years now, I can say I was very impressed by the quality. Finding real Thai food outside of Thailand can be a struggle but this place does it right, and it's just spicy enough to be authentic although it's probably a lot for the typical Vietnamese. Ordered five different dishes and all were very well done. Good and quick service too and the price is reasonable.

Food was amazing! Service was friendly and helpful. Perfect for lunch, portions a little small for dinner.

Food itself was rather unimpressive. Not much of a flavour profile and portions are very small. If you’re hungry avoid this place, as the prices are not worth what you get and no singular mains is sufficient to fill your appetite. Staff are nice, but missed items from our order meaning people were left waiting with no food. Would not recommend this place, not worth the price, poor service and below average food!

Great Location, not bad Thai food, wouldn't say this is the best Thai restaurant in town but if you are nearby it will be good a choice

one of the best thai food i had here!!! pad thai was my favourite so flavourful, sticky but yet not too dry 🤤🤤 need to make a reservation especially on weekends as it gets realllllyyyy crowded 👍

Lovely food, lovely service. Only problem was the portion size. Got a meal with rice and an egg and was still hungry afterwards. The place would be a perfect lunch spot.

Great food- we were missing some different taste of asian food after a couple of days in Vietnam. Friendly staff, very authentic. Highly recommend

Having previously lived in Thailand for several years I can safely say that the food here is very good, though of course at D1 prices. The pork was especially good. I would definitely recommend the restaurant to anyone with the hankering for Thai food.
