Search for grocery store near me and found the food pantry. We’re staying at the Hilton Village resort nearby. Just arrived tonight June 24, 2022. We have a full kitchen in our beautiful two bedroom suite. Rather than paying exorbitant prices to eat out for the five nights we’re going to be here we decided to go get some groceries, bread, eggs, chips, water, etc. The Food Pantry came through! Yes a little bit on the expensive side but convenient. It was within walking distance from our hotel. Very clean, very friendly and attentive staff. If you don’t want to drive to a Costco, Target or Walmart this is a good option.

The Pantry is a small grocery store very near the Hilton Hawaiian Village in the Waikiki area of Oahu. It is a nice store that is well stocked with mostly all the items you'll need for making meals or just snacking. It has a deli and lots of freshly made items if you want to put together a meal but don't want to cook it. Plenty of fruits and produce and meats. The only drawback is the same one for every store in Hawaii.......the prices are pretty expensive, compared to the mainland. So, expect sticker shock, but the Pantry is pretty much in line with other store prices, so welcome to Hawaii. The best part for us is that it's close to our timeshare at Hilton Hawaiian Village, easy walking distance. Overall, I think it's a good store and would recommend it when you're in Oahu and on that end of Waikiki.

I went shopping here recently and the manager? starts following me around the store muttering things. I don't buy anything and she follows me out the door, still muttering to herself. I come back another day and this time the security guard starts following me all around. Eventually he stops and says, "Oh, you're not him. You look like someone who shoplifted from here before. I am sorry for making you uncomfortable." The security guard was very nice but the store manager was not. I know all haole people look alike to you people, but you have to be more careful. How would you like it if you came to my work place one day, and because in the past a short old Filipino lady commited some crime, so I start following you around and hassling and harassing you just becaue I am too dumb to tell you apart from someone else. I don't think you would like this very much.

Many selections of food. Closest place from Hilton Hawaiian also that is regular grocery store, 5 minute walk. Would recommend and go back. Everyone also was super nice and friendly there.

Awesome location, ALWAYS friendly staff, great selection for a small store - what's NOT to love? Ok - it's more expensive than larger stores (to be expected) - but I can walk here from our condo. Hard to put a price tag on superb customer service - I'm willing to pay extra for that!

The staff here is very friendly, mostly. Convenient location, pretty good selection. If you go after 3 in the afternoon a lot of stuff in the deli is dried out and they still overcharge. Very pricey, everything is definitely better and cheaper at food land. Sushi is usually good, I really don't know what people are talking about saying they have really good fresh poke, I've never seen it. Hope this helps.

So, have been here over 16 years going here, since I live a couple blocks away. Never any issues, me and my ESA dog pal Kyno. All the sudden, yesterday, I get harassed by a smelly security guard at the door asking if my dog was an ADA dog… I said “ no he is my ESA dog and I have been shopping here for years. He SAID they changed their policy, and don’t allow any dogs that aren’t ADA dogs. ESA dogs prescribed by a doctor ARE ADA!! I will contacting an attorney to see what my options are. Pathetic.

Absolutely love this little neighborhood market with fresh bakery goods, fresh produce and a full service deli. You need to shop here if you are staying at any of the west Waikiki condos/hotels.

Actually I just went there to transmit by Western if you log online to Western Union you can pre-print your send information this is just a matter of showing up pending them the cash and moving on. They are certainly willing to assist you with that kind of situation instead of ignoring you like a bill collector. They do a good job there.

Won’t be going back again . I live close by and have shopped there for two months , but last night was the second time they did not honor the price marked in the shelf . I bought an item for $33 and was charged $45 . When I queried this with the manager (a very rude young man ) he replied that the item shouldn’t even be on the shelf and that it is their mistake . However , he refused to charge me the advertised price . Disappointing . They need to treat their permanent customers better .

Nice local market with most of the things we need. They also have some good already prepared food that you can grab for a quick meal when you don't feel like cooking. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

Today I bought Korean chicken ($7) from the deli. I got back home about five minutes later and could not bite into the chicken because the skin on the meat was so hard. So I decided to call the store and ask to make a return. The manager told me i could not because i did not have a receipt. Even though I just purchased the Food about 10 minutes prior. Be careful if you decide to buy food from the deli and if you do make sure to grab a receipt. As you can see from the photo I attached… i shop at food pantry very frequently. I am a loyal customer. Great market with a great selection. The employees are helpful and always smiling. It is cheaper than ABC but pricey than Walmart.

This is such a handy location for me being that it is a short walk from where I live. Yes prices are a bit higher but it is very worth the convenience of not having to drive. I always compliment the manager when I see her. She does a phenomenal job of keeping the store looking amazing. Tight aisles but they try to get as much variety in here as possible. Wonderful wine selection. Love the deli. I usually pop in once a week to buy a bouquet of fresh roses. They normally have an assortment of bouquets and leis. All the employees are always friendly and helpful. Such a blessing for this location to be open and available. It has all the basics you will need.

This Food Pantry has been around since my college days in the 80's. Neighborhood people depend on this store. It's clean, fresh and the workers are so friendly.

Great little grocery store, one of the last in Waikiki. They have everything you need, and they have a deli and bakery that are outstanding. They really have everything you need.

Very close to Hilton Hawaiian village time share. Could get everything we needed for breakfasts, sushi, beer and wine. I actually found prices reasonable. Even could ride my scooter into the store. Take your reusable bags.

This grocery store has everything and is right in the heart of Waikiki! We shopped here for most of our meals while in Hawaii, saved 100's of dollars! We ate and drink sooo well!
