I rarely drink and even rarer do I go to bars. That said I came in alone 30 min before closing and tried to order a drink. I let the blonde woman who was tending what I wanted and she mumbled something and walked away. I waited because I thought there may have been a misunderstanding. When she came back I once again expressed interest in a drink. I was told “I can tell you’re gonna cause trouble and you need to leave”. I was completely dumbfounded and started to question what the issue was and was immediately dismissed. This was my closest pub and it seemed cool but there is no way I’ll be coming back.

I love Wednesday night steak night. The steak they have can vary but all I've ever had are t-bones and ribeyes. You pay $14 and you get a steak cooked the way you like it on the grill, baked potato, salad, and a desert. I love steak sauce but never put it on their steaks. They are so flavorful that steak sauce would ruin it. The only thing they need to work on is remembering that I put in a steak order. That has happened twice, now. However, the service is friendly, restrooms are clean, good mixed drinks, and different activities to do daily with drink specials.

A place I can think and relax with people closer to my age. I'm the quiet loner type, but I ntroverted and extroverted. When I visit this place I am in my introverted mood. I don't like to talk just watch the sports on the big screen. Where I live is so noisy and disturbing, l either go to the gym or here to bye some time to when the nuisance is over where I live, then go home.

This is one of the best bars in town. If you want good quality drinks at a good price with good conversation this is YOUR SPOT! Plus their karaoke nights are LIT!!

Fun place, bright, cheerful. 2 pool tables, shuffleboard. Karaoke night is the best, lots of great talent! People of all ages, races, ethnicities, all mingling. Lots of fun!!

Awesome Awesome pub. I came for the first time and enjoyed the hell out myself. It was a slow night and was still fun. I love it here and will definitely be here next weekend again. Visit with your in the Houston westheimer area or in Houston period!

Stopped by a few days ago, met new bartender Michelle, very friendly and upbeat! Had a rough day and I can honestly say she brightened my afternoon. This pub reminds me of Cheers. Owners and staff are caring and fun to be around. Each time I came, I was made to feel welcome and part of the family. Thanks Ashford.

Ample space indoors and outdoors, very clean, acceptable beer selection (not huge though), and generally very friendly and helpful bartenders. Mostly regulars come here but I really like the atmosphere since it is very nice and casual.

It was a cool little bar that seemed to have many locals in it. It felt comfortable to stop and have a couple drinks.

This is the "local" for me and many others. That means a great neighborhood feel but still friendly to visitors. Popular for pool, darts and shuffleboard including league play.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was outstanding

I have to rate this place based on what I think others would likely rate it. That is that, it's ok. Others will rate it higher and others, lower. This is a neighborhood bar with mostly regulars. It's actually a very nice bar inside but the crowd wildly varies. Some days it's packed and others nobody is here. Prices are moderate to low compared to other bars. Beer selection is small but they have a few craft beers with full bar. They have pool tables and shuffle board. Live music weekends. Bar is somewhat small compared to how big the place is.

Great prices! super cool bar to come and just chill alone, or chat (everyone’s so nice☺️). Definitely gives a neighborhood vibe, I noticed many people know each other. There’s bingo, & lots of different fun events. & great drink specials! They’re prices are super fair & bar tender is cool & attentive.(I forgot his name.. maybe Cody? Caucasian male, glasses & hat).

Have visited the Pub many times over a period of year's and have always enjoyed myself.

Love this place. Wednesday nights is steak night but you need to get there early cuz it sells out quickly. They also do a lightsaber appreciation night on the same night as steak night. There are darts and sometimes a salad bar too. Great place to hang out with a small group of friends.
