Very fun and unique experience for both kids and adults! It was $10 per adult and $8 for child 3+, children 2 and under were free. The building was very clean;multiple places to sanitize your hands and a designated washroom area. They have a gift shop and a movie theater. The movie theater was open at the time and they had a cartoon segment playing. There are a lot of interactive activities you can do: giant walk wheel, see how high you can jump, how long you can hang, giant intestine for the kids to crawl through, mind games/puzzles, etc. If you really wanted to browse the place and do the activities, it’ll take about 1-2 hours of your time and with kids probably more. The possibilities of discovery was endless! They even have a real time lab you can look in one. So many activities for younger children and even adults. I even saw infants having a good time. You can go in a group or even solo, and still have an enjoyable experience. My family enjoyed the museum and all its contents. Definitely worth visiting and having fun.

3 generations went together and we all enjoyed it! A traveling exhibit about the war on drugs in America was very interesting and the brain teasers were neat. We loved the different sections of body parts and the neat ways to explain their functions.

It is not just a museum with past memories. Instead, it contains information of the present and the future tech and science. Anybody enters into the building will carry an abundance on knowledge. The latest addition to the museum has all about humans and artificial intelligence. Everyone living in this areas must visit this place. They also offer free entry on a specific day.

So many great fun things to do while learning. The older ones need to experience the DEA area. We had a private overnight Girl Scout event.

Very interesting museum. It has some interactive activities that will make you think and overthink in some of those. Great place to take kids so they can learn about the human body and an extra exhibit. In my case, they had one related to the affections of drugs. I missed the laboratory activity, but hopefully, next time I visit, I have the chance.

This museum is such a delight! My family had a great time. There was a big exhibition on hard drugs which I appreciate. I love to explain and expose my young kids to this topic so that they can be aware of the dangers, and to teach them to make right choices. I liked it that they provided vital information like the Houston community outreach for the masses because not everyone knew about it. There were interactive activities and brain teasers around for kids and adults to play with. There was a lab for kids to do hands-on activities which you had to purchase a ticket for it. Ticket for entry into the lab isn’t part of the general admission ticket. Today there was an event at the museum whereby the back of the museum and the theater were out of bounds. This was a bummer. There isn’t a proper cafeteria in the museum. There are only two vending machines and two tables with chairs outside the restrooms. It is best to pack snacks for kids. There is paid parking in front of the museum. However free parking is available at Hermann Park. It is only a 2mins walk from the Hermann Park parking lot to the museum.

This was a really fun and informative outing for the whole family! The kids raced in a bike with a skeleton displaying what they looked like from the inside, they popped out of a colon (a little gross on closer inspection, but they liked it) and there were many rain teaser kiosks ( most of which we 😞). The lab was closed, which was a bummer, and the nail biting hydro was a bit silly, but we all had a great time! We bought some terrific gifts at the shop, including a squishy brain, a skull and a brain stem key chain. I really wanted to buy the heart 💜 if hold, but it was a little pricey. The museum district is beautiful and pleasant. Easy to find parking

Love it! Plenty of games related to all their interesting exhibitions. You get to learn a lot while you're having fun. Great museum for the whole family.

We had such a successful, wonderful and educational field trip!! The students were able to learn so much about how their systems works and functions. The Museum is very clean and restrooms are close by. The Gift shop is great, full of fun things for parents to buy for kids and adults.

It was good but small, the ear area was closed. Finished within 2hrs or less. If you purchase the other activities available it could be longer. It's fun.

Its smaller than expected, lab section was closed so entry price is not justified for just half a section. Other than that it was fun experiment for kids to discover the internal mechanisms of human body.

A good place for kids to learn about their body as well as the germs. Young kids can feel the difference of each body part, older kids have puzzles and lots of games to play and have fun. That big heart is so cool! Thursday after 5pm is free.

This is a wonderful little museum! The DEA exhibit about the effect of drugs, and fentanyl in particular, on our society and region, is worth a visit. I highly recommend taking your teens and tweens and using the exhibit to start some deep conversations, as difficult as that can be, but there are many tools and resources here, and interactive pieces, that will help. We really enjoyed the over sized organs, the dissection lab and the Cell Lab activities. It doesn’t take a long time to go through, but can be tailored to your schedule easily, to take a little longer or be much shorter. All in all, a terrific morning spent with my kids.

This place is very cute, interactive, and informative. However, I probably would not visit again as the experience is more closely catered to children as opposed to all ages. The cost of admission was a bit high and the gift shop prices are not for the faint of heart. Finding free parking nearby is a bit of a challenge and it is not very clear at first that tickets to the museum are to be purchased at the gift shop. Overall it was a pleasant little excursion and I do not regret visiting.

For the first time, I explored the Health Museum on Saturday. I was given a Veterans Day discount of $5. It's not a large museum, but it does contain a fair amount of information relevant to general health knowledge. I think it would be a great resource for coming of age teenagers. The most prominent and provocative exhibit, in my opinion, was their displays about drugs and drug abuse. It included details about street drugs, prescription drugs, tragic stories of loss, and the institutional history of drug prevention programs. Along with vibrant interactive exhibits about the body, there are also dedicated displays about plagues like the Bubonic Plague, Covid-19, and the AIDS epidemic of the 80s. It's definitely worth a visit.

Fabulous place to get hands-on experience about the human body and what smoking and environmental factors play a role in your health. Has a laboratory and hugh heart that shows what a heart attack does. My wife, 2yo, and I enjoyed it immensely.

So much to learn! Fun mind games and realistic labs. The drug information is good but could be more informative about the agenda of drugs, but we all know how that goes

This museum is underrated in my opinion, but also its adventurous since it’s not as busy as other places. Amazing birthday party on Sunday with kids who tried every single exposition. Kudos for our animators for making this event special. Very convenient facilities for a private party. Everything is kids friendly. We will be back for sure.

Fun experience to do. Museum was small, lots of interactive activities for kids. Make sure to check out the lab. The only thing I can complain was that the AC was too cold. It was 100 degree outside and I was freezing inside.

It's not so attractive and doesn't have specific things. Only has 3 part: health body, cell lab which was closed and small par for agriculture. Not waste your money

My son, granddaughter, and I had the most amazing experience and so much fun. From learning about our bodies, the interactive games, to the awesome Cell Lab. This museum is very family friendly, well organized, and very clean, with an engaging and friendly staff.

I have not been here since the that middle school field trip. Coming back to the museum as an adult brings out a different perspective. It was a fun experience. So many interactive areas which my fiancé and I enjoyed. The heart pulse was nice to see as well. Friendly staff and very helpful. Only suggestion is having a lot of these interaction areas working. There were maybe about 8 stations where the tv screen was not working or frozen.

First time attending and we ended up going on museum day, which admission was free. The museum was small but amazing. My 11 year old daughter had so much fun and even my 11 month old got to crawl in the intestine. Loved it!

Such an awesome museum for curious kids. Especially when they're learning about their bodies. My 3 year old loved the big visuals, while I enjoyed the plagues exhibit. Only missed out on the labs portion due to children's age restrictions so keep that in mind, when planning your trip.

Very basic and rather simplistic exhibits, and too few. AI exhibit showed technology that we all have on our phones and use daily. We expected better specially because the museum is right next to the medical district. Overall not a good experience, and not worth it for the 40 min drive we made to it. The brain teasers in the central hall were pretty good

Very entertaining and informative, but rather small. One can see everything in a couple of hours and the movie is a series of ~5min episodes that teach about the human body. The Cell lab seems like it would be the best part. I think it's only for children at least 7yo and costs extra $10. We went during the free Thursday hours (2-7pm) Dec. 30th and of course there were many people.

Nice interactive museum for kids and adults. They have lots of activities for kids to learn about their health and how the body works. In our visit we try to watch the presentation in the big screen but after been there for 15 min the show never started. I approached the info desk and they guy was not helpful at all. Despite of that issue we enjoyed our visit.

Really enjoyed this museum with the family. Didn't know anything about it and drove by looking for parking for the Zoo. Family enjoyed across multiple ages 16-4. There were a couple parts of the exibit that were closed on the day we visited but still worth a visit.

First time visiting. Went to see Joni Zatvitsanos’ Living Icons exhibit. I lost my father two months ago to Covid. It was an emotional experience for me. To keep from breaking down in public, I tried to act normal and browsed some of the other installations. I ended my 45 minute tour in somber reflection among the ivy in the Doctors Garden. Prior to entering the museum, accessing the parking lot wasn’t possible as the automatic gate wouldn’t open requiring me to back into oncoming traffic to find parking on the street where I was fined $30. Beware metered parking 7 days per week.

Go on a Thursday. It's free that day Or call before you go and ask if all their exhibits are open. We drove a hour and a half .. to stay for 20 minutes. It's a nice place. But not alor of the exhibits where open. The workers are really friendly.

This was an excellent experience. Currently there is a full body exhibit, including a large kinetic model of the human heart. There are also many interactive aspects that I am a huge fan of, and so I would think any children 4 and up would likely find a lot to learn. I believe there are free visiting hours on Thursdays in the afternoon, so if you are in the area, I would highly recommend a visit.

Nice place, but was very small. Many exhibits were closed due to COVID and you had to pay extra for the lab. Had many interactive activities, which is not good in COVID.

It's a cool museum for kids, every single kid in there seemed to love it. I even found some exhibits interesting, it's a small museum but it's fun. I wish it had more COVID regulations honestly

My visit to the Health Museum was an engaging and educational experience that's particularly well-suited for families with young children. I came on a Thursday when admission is entirely free from 2 pm to 7 pm. The museum stands out for its interactive approach to learning. It's a place where you don't just view exhibits but actively participate in them. This hands-on aspect is especially appealing for young visitors and families. I recommend the Health Museum to families with children aged 12 and under. Come and check it out for yourself and bring your young ones along for an unforgettable experience. My 1-year-old had a blast!

This was my first time at the Health Museum and it was the best. The gentleman who assisted me was very polite and friendly. They have a great gift shop and I wanted to get one of everything! The exhibitions are great for adults and kids. My son asked me 100 questions about every exhibition we walked through. It’s a great place for children to experience interactive areas. I would definitely return. I went on a Friday morning and it was not packed and I was able to walk through without crowds, take my time viewing everything without having to rush through.
