Easy to walk. Plenty of space to be alone.

This is a nice park but the water features have been turned off for years. Nearly the entire park is made of water features, so when they aren't running, it defeats the purpose of even having them. Maybe they can give this park a complete makeover into something more useful.

Horrible !! There is no park visitors, fountains have no water, and only homeless people are present. I saw a homeless person throwing up in trash can. I came here because movie song shooting happened here but the place has not met the exceptions. Total trash. Paid $12 parking, what a waste of money

This year's Rodeo parade was a blast. Great music, horses, bands, and entertainment. The parking situation was much better than before too.

I come sit at this park durning lunch pretty regularly. The landscaping is usually pretty well maintained and it is clean but it isn’t anything to write home about. It is clearly underfunded or has been forgotten because the fountain areas are all empty and clearly not operational. There is always left over rain water that has started growing algae but that’s clearly not how it was intended. There are always a few sketchy homeless people talking to themselves and those who pass by but that’s pretty normal anywhere downtown. With discovery green only a few blocks away it’s no wonder this park is usually pretty empty.

It was beautiful downtown and very clean, but lots of homeless people which takes away from being excited for the holidays a lil. Lots of family down there but I saw no police which was strange with this being a major downtown city

Participated in the march today for little Maleah Davis. Mayor Turner declared June 9th Maleah Davis Day. It was a beautiful coming together by the citizens of Houston. We continue to pray for her family and justice for this precious little girl.

Had a quick walk across as the only people in the park were homeless (occupying the benches) and suspicious looking guys.. not coming back. Not a great look on the city to have so many people sleeping in cold at a park and no sense of safety.

it sure ain't what it used to be thats for sure. at least back when the fountains were operational it was a lot cleaner. Don't get me wrong there was always homeless people and that never bothered me to be honest. it's just all the trash that people leave everywhere. Smh it's sad

I need to establish a baseline: I built a wigwam in a field while battling way too many emotions — including the tearey-eyes emotion I am feeling at this moment. I walked away unscathed. I can only ASSUME why the fountains are shut off, and all the water drained. My assumption is that it has something to do with a collection of backpacks, against a far-wall; and a horribly misguided city-planner. This is abhorrent! We can do better.

How flawed is this ratting system when this run down broke down homeless infested park has 4.3 stars. This park is a embarrassment to the City of Houston!

This park is nice even though the water hasn't been turned on in years.

City can do better job on this park. It’s nasty, smelly, only folks there were homeless. And add something’s for kids

Tranquility park is a great place to go for any family activities or if you just want to grab a lunch to go and eat there.

I wish the water falls had been on but completely understand them not being on so that it doesn't become a homeless Greek bath. lol

Nice little park in the town. A lot of homeless people living around but they are harmless and not bothering anyone

It was nice and I got to take some nice pictures during the day and night of the buildings and the surrounding areas.

An Architecturally sound structure.. Commerce wise I can hardly see a building more fit for purpose. It’s an enduring testimony to the will and technical prowess of Gerald Hines… it bores me..

I really enjoy tranquillity park. I like the whole environment around here and along the Buffalo Bayou. This location is fantastic and suitable for everyone. Despite what Hurricane Harvey did, the city will do whatever it takes to care for it and keep it looking lovely and beautiful. Walking, jogging, and biking are all activities that both young and old can enjoy. Many people walk their dogs... As a temp worker from Pacesetter, I used to work with the Buffalo Bayou Partnership, and several of us went to help clean up after Harvey. Overall, I appreciated the task and the travelling around looking for locations to clean up.

Went to share in the excitement of the Astros winning the championship. There were tons of people, but it was amazing.

Was going to also say that without the water features being on it was not the same place. But it is good for dogs - I just was hoping that it would be a nice place to take my friends when they got into town.
