Nice park to play basketball /volleyball. It is also much larger than it looks, so your dog will have plenty of room to play around. Has very nice views of Downtown as well

Great park,, something for everyone. Playgrounds, trail's, green everywhere, close by restaurants. I'm not sure about public restrooms, I've never needed one. Parking is a challenge, but if you know your way around you get a spot somewhere. Usually free on the street.

Love this park. Have been here on numerous occasions including 4th of July. It isn’t the best spot for 4th of July but you can still see the firework. I lice to come here when I need to lay a blanket on the grass, lay on the blankets facing the ground to soak the heat from the sun or to rest under the shade and feel the cool breeze with casual heat from the sun and enjoy the blue sky and greenery around. Pretty accessible and street parking available.

I really enjoy Spotts Park! The court is huge, I enjoy the tracks, the people, and the area is just beautiful. I also love that it's in a very convenient location, only 3-4 minutes from me, and it's near HEB. I love that it's taken care of well, however; sometimes they wait a bit too late to mow the grass. The city should do a little better with that, and picking up the trash. I would give it 5 stars if they add restroom facility somewhere. Overall, this is my favorite place to play basketball with my bf, workout, picnic and walk/jog the trails in the downtown area. I wouldn't go anywhere else on this side of town.

I used play ball here back in 2004-2005 with my classmates from Scarborough we used to run down the hill to see who was faster. Now I take my kids here to play basketball and football, it’s a great park I love the covered basketball court and how much space there is to play different sports.

Nice little park, clean and cozy, however very little parking and a long walk for parking. No restrooms here either, long walk to HEB to use restrooms.

Fantastic park to grill, play basketball or volleyball. There's a nice hill with a great view of the park that's perfect to picnic on, and wine and catch the sunset! 🌄

Beautiful open green space. Great for kids, also for outdoor working out. A lots of people play basket ball, yoga, job, hill sprint or work out here, good energy. Great for kids too with playground and sand play at the volleyball court.

Lovely park. Definitely big and gorgeous. Tennis Courts need to be repainted so we can see the lines. Please and thank you. Also signs to the restroom or nearest public restroom would be greatly appreciated

Threw a small birthday party here and set up some tents. It was a fun time and the park looked nice. I did see some broken window glass from a car in the parking lot and there was also a sign warning about break ins. So just be aware of that. We didn't experience any issues though. I also loved that the basketball court was under a large awning.

Great little park, parking isn't great, but it's nice and spacious, has great sitting areas, basketball court, and the trail is in good shape.

Multiple car break ins. There is always glass all over the parking lot. My friends car got broke in 3/13/23. The cops did nothing. Then my car got broken into today and they did nothing. The community has been asking for lights in the parking lot but nothing has happened. It’s not safe at all. Everyday a car is broken into.

This park is a go-to for friends and I when it’s time to play volleyball. There is a small calisthenics circuit as well if you’re trying to get your fit on. Take a few laps up and down the hill (and backwards) if you want to get your legs going!

Nice little park! Good field to run around in and a basketball court. I appreciate that there’s a shelter over the basketball courts. I docked it 1 star because there wasn’t enough space under the shelter to keep my bag dry unless I put it actually on the basketball court itself, and people were playing on it. Not ideal. I wish the roof was wider, or there was a small separate shelter for if you weren’t playing bball.

Park is nice... Lot of snobby people in the area... I guess it's part of Buffalo Buyou Park, which is basically the "Central Park" of Houston... Would be 5 stars, but the snobby, antisocial people ain't a vibe... (I like parks...)

Great park for kids. Easy access to trails at buffalo bayou, hills(in Houston!) to play on, plus basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts. There's even a little kids playground.

No real playground area. One slide only. Not good for toddlers unless you just want to take a stroll. But my little guy likes to climb so this isn't a play park.

Volleyball courts, basketball court, and lots of green open space with trees. Great place to work out or bring your dog to.

Pretty park near Buffalo Bayou. There's a running (or walking) trail through lots of green to play at. Basketball courts are always full on the afternoons, and volleyball courts are too but not so often. There's a bike station and parking. Also, kids area is always joyful.

Nice place to eat, a little expensive but great food. I had shrimp Alfredo dish, the shrimp had tails on them which was not an issue but some tails had fallen off in the noodle dish making eating interesting. Still great place to eat.

Parking was tough, lots of construction noise, and some of the facilities are run down. The playground here is small and not maintained at all.

Great spot to ball, me n the boys had a time. Right next to a great park with playgrounds for children and a fitness trail. Lots of people running up and down the hill / stairs. There’s a sloping downgrade for wheelchair accessibility as well as a big staircase. Small parking lot and street parking. Great park :)

Great open space with many hills/slopes, but nice and safe even during COVID... Basketball court (covered), fire pit with circular bench around it, and picknick tables and a small playground and plenty of grass
