Today we decided to get out of the house and bring our daughter to this park because she wanted to go swimming. We were very happy to find out that there was no fee to swim at this community swimming pool some community pools have a small fee to swim but not here. So far it's not that many people here swimming today. It's a nice area as well as a quiet little ducked off spot. Our daughter is very happy swimming in this pool with our Houston weather being so hot during the summer swimming is the smartest thing we can do right now. The park is very nice they have a baseball field on site. They have bicycles that you can rent and they have a community center where they have activities going on I'm assuming during the week. The park is very shaded with a lot of greenery. The people who I see coming and going are either quiet and to themselves or families.

I like this city park. So much space, I only wish they would upgrade on the playground area. My daughter faced her fear of the monkey bars and went straight through! So excited. Lol.

Stude Park is one of my favorite parks in Houston. Not only does it afford amazing views of the Downtown skyline, you can rent city Bcycle bikes for $3 per 30 minutes. Whether you choose to walk, jog, or ride, Stude Park can be the starting point into Downtown. Furthermore, the ongoing Bayou Greenways project will interconnect Stude Park to several other parks and allow for the exploration of the Bayou city,s waterways. Lastly, if you are concerned about parking don't be. There's plenty of free parking here πŸ™ŒπŸΎ

It was a nice little park...well at least the parts I was able to see. Relaxing and it's right near a water way so that's cool..and there's a nice piece of public art that can easily be seen from the highway. The most beautiful scenery I saw was the hillside sunflowers all tall and bright.

Lovely walk, practicing with a new camera but with few midday activities to record, a passing pelican, two cormorants patiently awaiting a fish to swim by, some early spring blossoms.

My dogs love this park, I am so SAD that the City of Houston and the Mayor are going to destroy it and build something new. Sometimes the original and existing things are beautiful.

Port-a-potty used for bathrooms. Four-wheelers racing through the park while trying to enjoy baseball games and while others were trying to walk their dogs and have lunch on a blanket. The police never showed to stop hours of them riding.

Beautiful view of downtown skyline. Nice paved tracks. I enjoy watching beraseball games there. A big plus is that I live across the street from it. Very convenient.

I really like the fact that all the bike/walk paved lanes connect the east and southwest areas. Great for walking you pups. Even walking through the neighborhood is peaceful for those walks

I love walking my dogs here. I’ve seen multiple shady transactions but as long as I mind my business and visa versa this park is great.

Has a great open field with a nice view of the city. It's also a great place to start your run or biking along the bayou. It's not fancy, but it's one of my favorite parks.

Beautiful view and great place to take your dog out at! Working out here has been a pleasant experience. Just make sure to do everything during the day where you can actually enjoy the park to it's fullest!

This is a neat little park at the edge of the Heights. The white oak trail runs right up to the park too making it my favorite spot to rest coming up from Buffalo Bayou.

Went to see our godson play baseball on one of the Little League fields. Beautiful day, great location and the site lines of the Houston skyline in the background make for a great experience.

Sculpture by Mac Whitney named it Houston, it is 3/4 inch steel, 50 feet tall, by 25 feet wide, weighs around 50,000 pounds. Commissioned in 1979 by our city but I'm not sure how much we paid for it, completed 1981 and installed in 1982. If you wanna know what it looks like go see it for yourself.

This is a great place to take the family for events or to do something fun together. We had a great time, we played soccer, baseball, threw the frisbee, we barbequed, and had a quick run around. Only bad thing is that they don't have a bathroom, well at least during the day when we went they didn't.

Really really nice walking trail to go to. Personally walked about 5 miles up the Canal. Very clean and well since Houston floods a lot during hurricane season there may be some puddle or mud on the walking path. But other than its a very nice and refreshing walk. It also goes to downtown Houston. Definitely recommend if you want to be more out in nature on your walks.

Clean and colorful place for a good morning, or afternoon jog. Plenty of fresh air with variety of trails to take a brisk walk in.

Great park in a great location. It's unfortunate that people continue to take their dogs into the gated baseball area. The sign clearly says you shouldn't take dogs in there. Other than that it's a nice place to hang out and catch a view of the downtown skyline.

Basic park with a neat woodsy hole in the middle. I only visited once and can not say much, but I have a hunch this place can potentially be infested with Karens.
