I came with 2 friends to their after party. They don't serve alcohol at all. Which I couldn't ever understand why. There are several afterhour places where they serve alcohol so I quite didn't understand the point of being there. Anyways. I though to myself ok. Let's just try it. Maybe you don't need alcohol to have fun so I just forgot about that part until they started cleaning the place while we were dancing. They actually moved us because they were mopping the floor while the bar was open. That was around 3am. Nightclub was going to close at 5 pm. We all paid a $20usd cover to a place where they were cleaning the floor and moving us and we couldn't enjoy anything. DJ was nice enough to tell them to stop cleaning our shoes and let us dance hit they didn't care and they kept doing. What a waste of time and money. I won't ever come back and I'll tell everyone this awful experience. It was unbelievable the whole thing! If you want to pay 20usd to be treated not even normal. But extremely rude go there. Otherwise try to Stay away.

We paid $500 min for a section, it took all night for us to get our bottles to our section. The club close at 2am. We got our drinks at 1:44am. The bottle girls kept coming over asking did we get our stuff yet. No! It was super packed inside and maybe we werent a priority. They could have offered water, free red bull, soft drinks, or free hookah.

All I can say is I came here while I was visiting Houston and I was being offered nothing but drugs while both in the line and inside. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Lack of security detail & customer service. Wont do a single thing for you if lose any personal belongings. (Owner obviously cant afford a decent receptionist or HR manager)

They took my card, after I ordered 1 single drink and not only did they try to tell me they didn’t have my card… but my card was charged over $200. $200 for one drink ? The math ain’t mathing… and it only took me causing a scene for my card to magically appear out of thin air. Do better!

Amazing experience and vibe! I went for an early birthday celebration. We got there early and they let us in about 10 minutes later because they were waiting on the DJ. Showed them our tickets on Eventbrite, no issues. The crowd is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Hookah was $60 , not sure if this was regular pricing because they had a performer/guest. The women’s bathroom stayed clean. It was very packed but not claustrophobic. Only issue: be careful of where you park! Overall great experience.

Reading all the reviews on here after I bought my tickets to Alan Walker kinda made me regret it. After going though, I was totally wrong. I actually had a great time! What it crowded? Yes it was. But for me it wasn't that bad at all. I thought the sound system seems to be better than stereo live. They also had the AC going on full blast so you aren't sweating like you are at Stereo. I knocked off a star because Alan Walker didn't come out till like 2 AM. I left around 3:30 am in the middle of his set on a Friday night cause I had work the next morning. Overall experience was great for a guy. For girls just have your guy friends make a wall for you. Also that night, 3 girls got escorted out by the bouncers in a full Nelson . I also had to help stop a fight where two girls started to push each other. All the guys were having a good time though.

Went to celebrate our friends bachelorette and what we thought would be vip was awful. People were smoking drugs around us. I asked the waitress if they allow this she said they do. I asked her to cancel our table immediately as each of us paid 150$ and I had to walk outside because the place smelled so heavy and I wanted to leave. I asked the security guards who the owners were they didn’t know. I asked the “manager “ they said they didn’t know. We didn’t get bottles because we wanted to leave due to the atmosphere and they denied giving us our money back. I would like the owner or owners to reach out asap as this was 6 of us that where affected!

Went to spire last night for my best friends bachelorette the staff was Horrible and rude to all of us. They wanted to over charge us for the entry when others were going in for free. While we were there one of our friends went into the wrong room by accident looking for the restroom and the staff kicked her out of the club. They also let girls in who were under age for an extra charge! Found two underage girls very drunk hardly able to walk we made sure they had a ride home they should not have even been aloud in. I do not recommend this place they need to be shut down asap.

This place was amazing, we had a blast! Bottle prices are reasonable & overall it was a good time. We had a group of girls and guys and getting in wasn't hard at all. Music was really good also the bottle service was excellent. There was a bunch of good looking girls as well. We will be back for sure!! All the staff & security were great! And the bottle girls made me feel like the money I dropped was worth it. I do recommend a VIP table on the first floor, it was definitely worth it !! Spire is definitely the hottest spot in Houston.

If I could give negative stars I would! We purchased tickets via eventbrite for the New Years eve party. We purchased via tickets. When we arrived we had to wait over an hour in line. The employees were EXTREMELY rude! We got to the door and the guy handing out wrist bands saw our digital tickets and told us the lady at the register would scan our tickets. The lady told us " those tickets not valid, contact your bank" I explained that we paid online and asked for a manager. She then grabbed a random guy and said " hey you're the manager for tonight". When I asked for a number to call and speak to someone, the second lady responded with " 911 is the number you can call, happy new year". THEN one of the security guards told us that we could get in if we paid $80... in addition to what we paid for VIP tickets. The staff was rude and unprofessional. Certain people got in free, some got in for $60, some got in for $80 and some for $100. I would NOT recommend this establishment to my WORST enemy! I'm currently waiting for a refund!

Very disappointed, I’m not someone who goes out a lot so me just going there I though would be the biggest problem, I was wrong and couldn’t even get in because of there bias bs dress code. I was wearing jeans and nice shoes and jacket and when I asked what the dress code was I was told to leave

Someone I know manages this club and my only trip here was luckily with him. Coming here with him, I was able to get a good section, meet nice people, and have a good time. I understand some of the bad reviews, but coming to a place like this requires money, planning, or networking. You cant go without one or all of those fulfilled at least.

Went here last night with a group of friends. We all paid 20 dollars to get in. One of our friends was a male wearing a crop top and they refused to let him in AFTER HE PAID the entry fee and then they began to call him names and ask if he was a cheer leader. So he went to the car grabbed a jacket zipped it up and they told him he still wasn’t allowed in. So we ended up leaving 2 minutes of being there. They made over 100 dollars off of us. I will be filing a complaint with better business bureau. It’s 2022 you can get a lawsuit for this kind of thing…. Just saying. We’d like a refund… but we’re told we weren’t allowed one…. Our friend should of at least been able to have gotten one because he never even stepped in our made it to the “ security “ part before entering.

Lied. On Eventbrite post they said free Hennessey from 10:30pm to 11:30pm. When I got there was first told to ask the waiter then was told that they didn't have it. Lying is just not cool. Only reason I came was for that. Wouldn't of wasted my time if it wasn't for that bogus claim.

Im 18 so I have no knowledge about the bar or alcohol prices or anything, but Its only $20 to get in the times i have been and instead of having to buy a table or anything like that like at other clubs the dance floor is free and really big. Only cons are that they always play the same music and they're really weird ab the dress code, on my birthday they didn’t let my boyfriend in the club because he had a white tee on lol. Cant complain though, everytime I've gone I had a good time. Halloween was fun too

I think I would’ve had a better time at an after hours spot that at least had hookah. I’d definitely try to go during normal business hours (10p-2a) because the after hours just seemed like a mixed bag of people. Nice that it’s open until 5am, but paying $20 for 2 rooms to stand in doesn’t make sense unless you’re trying to dance off the alcohol. May go back for a celebrity host night, but not a fan as of now.

My first time at Spire was for the Astroworld after party, I was blown away by all the lights and the sound system. As you can imagine, it was PACKED but our cocktail waitress was very attentive and so much fun! Went to the bar to order some shots for our table and all of the bartenders were so quick, attentive, and full of personality even with a crowded bar. Drink prices were a little higher than usual but it was only expected being that it’s a nightclub in downtown Houston that books big name talent. They even stay open later for ‘After Hours’ for those who still want to party. No alcohol, bummer, because I believe it’s state law but still so much fun! They even have hookah and Cajun food available til closing time. I’ve been back a few times since then and every time, it never fails we have a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

I came into town last weekend and my friends recommend we check out spire nightclub in downtown Houston. When we first arrived, there was a line but I wasn’t waiting long at all, security and host were very fast, I probably waiting a total of 3 minutes but while I was waiting I got to see Houston’s beautiful view of downtown. Once I got in the actual club I went straight to the bar of course, I ordered me a dirty Martini and the bartender absolutely killed this drink, it tasted perfect and did the job. As time went by more people showed up and the crowd got larger so I thought it would be a good time to grab a section, it was perfect timing because a cocktail waitress was walking about and she was so polite about the whole process. I was seating no less than 5 minutes and my bottles came out super fast, not to mention the presentation was fabulous. After the night was over we weren’t ready to go home so we went to the after hours spot and it so much fun, Houston is definitely somewhere I’d come back to and while I been here spire has been one of the most fun clubs out here. I’d definitely check it out when you are down here !

Great club, all staff was extremely helpful. Even though they were just about sold out (as they typically are) I was lucky enough to get a table, and I got a really good deal for the bottles on Saturday! Love it and will definitely be coming back!

you know reading all these reviews I'm kinda confused people have had these experiences. Drinks are expensive? yeah its a night club what do you expect get hammered before going in like a normal person. never had a problem with staff or parking they are always so nice and the DJs are always on point! I've never not enjoyed a night there though, I do think its a club for people around college ages since thats the typical dynamic i see there. Definitely one of my favorite spots!

DONT come here on FRIDAYS unless you’re buying a section. there’s no dance floor, everything is filled by sections and they’re $300 or more. ALSO, its $40 to get in after 12. saturdays are fun though but the dance floor gets really crowded after 12.

went last weekend to celebrate my friends 21. reasonable section prices and quick service. good dj and overall great experience. crowd picks up quickly and definitely a vibe. will be returning.

I was there last weekend. I was with the Chicago crowd that brought several tables. Our bottle girls were unprofessional. During the night, BG #1 came to our section and poured herself a shot of our $500 bottle. It happened so fast, I couldn’t stop her. BG #2 comes and grabs the bottle. I told her she couldn’t have a shot. If she wanted a drink, she could have a shot from the other bottle since there was only 2 of us drinking it. She declined. BG #1 picked up the bottle and said “I’ll do it”. I told her no. She said “Why”. I was too stunned to speak. You don’t grab someone’s bottle and help yourself. I wouldn’t care if I paid $50 for it, how dare you!!! I’m guessing this is what they do, but it is unacceptable. I would add her photo but I don’t want to get her fired. They all should be counseled on this!!

Not worth getting a table, do yourself a favor and just pay the general admission fee

We were there for couple hours only because we were tired. And we would stay longer if we could. Nice people, hot women, hookah bar and good music. We went on regular Friday night and had good time. Place looks nice it’s just a little small for night club but it was packed just right at that time. It isn’t small, it just could be little bit bigger so everyone can dance, but if you are willing to dance then you will find your spot. Cool place to be.

If not on the regular it’s $20 a person even if you have a section. Music is very very very versatile. It used to be the spot and hopefully it returns that away after renovations. If they don’t reopen soon I imagine their image will gutter, so don’t take this too easily.

I only recommend spire for people under 21 who can’t get in anywhere else. Walking up to the club is so unsafe. There are groups of people outside trying to scam or rob you. Literally at the front of the club. $20 cover charge, everyone is rude from the moment you walk in till the moment you leave. I stood by the bar for a solid 5 minutes(there was no one else at the bar there should have been no wait) while the two bartenders chit chatted with each other. It’s such an awkward vibe in there. Possibly because they profit from letting 18 year olds in so everyone is just standing in their little groups. There are other floors to the bar each with an additional cover charge. Steer clear of spire unless you want to pay hella money just to feel like your in a highschool homecoming dance.

Parking was $20 Cash. Tickets purchased online & must print and bring to enter. Tickets were $15 per person. Clean restrooms. Went when paul oakenfold performed & had a great time. Dont know the guy but turned it into a great hang. Expensive drinks but lively spirit. Definitely worth the time & cost. Recommend.

Spacious with a lot of seating. The outside patio with fountain is cute. Two separate rooms with different music playing, one side Urban other House. After 2 am it’s a change of ambiance and people. This is NOT an upscale location, and their dress code seems lenient. I came on saturday night. The music was tolerable until the idiotic hype man who was with the DJ that night thought it was a brilliant idea to yell “MOSH PIT ! MOSH PIT !!!!” followed by a couple of Travis Scots songs , totally inappropriate to insinuate such behavior after the recent deaths caused by Scot. The crowd was definitely thrown off by that situation. Bar tenders were great thou, nice, attentive and fast. Won’t ever return here.

I’m not sure what y’all are talking about in these reviews. This club was the best experience I’ve ever had in my life! Everybody was so nice and we had a section with a bottle and the nicest bottle girl! If you’re not ready to turn up you’re not ready for spire. I will definitely be returning on my next trip. I hope they are open!

Hands down the best nightlife venue in Houston. State of the art sound and lighting systems. It’s a club - that being said expect scrutiny at the door unless you know someone or are someone. Otherwise, dress nice and you won’t have an issue.

It was alright. I went for an after party to Freaky Deaky and I guess expected more people from there to attend. Seemed like more of the “usual” hang out spot instead of the place you want to see when you’re out of town.
