This is a true symbol of courage few of us will ever know. Sadly I didn't even know this Memorial was here in Houston!We found my uncle's name here, he was killed in action in 1943 in Munda, South Pacific. This is a beautiful tribute for those who lost their lives during war.

Very well done. I visited the memorial which is a large space displaying marbled stone walls with the names of fallen soldiers from our city inscribed.

I love coming here to walk and reflect. It is a good intro into the park. Next to this section is the aviary, another treat. After that, there is ample green space to walk and enjoy. We should be mindful to protect this green community space.

Nice park with plenty of names on the memorials, and a covered pavilion for events. I'm not sure what kind of event I would want to host surrounded by the names of the fallen, but it is a good place to visit and honor their sacrifice. There's plenty of other things nearby to walk and see, like a pond, a traditional park, and an aviary/wildlife preserve.

Nice and super BIG!! Good for all the outdoor activities that you like. The maintenance crew keep this park CLEAN!!. Great work.
