Comments are surprising to me, and doesn't seems to fit the reality. Maybe people care more about how it looks than how it tastes? Food was pretty much the same quality as any frozen Italian food you can get at any entry level super market. Tried lasagna, gnocchi and tomato/mozzarella. Tomatoes were bland, no seasoning. Gnocchi were tasteless, Gorgonzola sauce was fine. The Lasagna was probably the worst dish we had that night. The restaurant itself is nice, food comes in nice plates, and the service is okay. But the food is really disappointing. Price was on the upper range, higher than some of the best restaurants in Bangkok.

We enjoyed a splendid evening at Carlo Ristorante in Hua Hin. The cuisine was not only delicious but also fresh. The service was notably attentive, although at times, it felt a tad excessive when they came to our table to refill our water every 5 minutes. In comparison to other Italian restaurants in Hua Hin, the prices are slightly elevated.

A really nice upmarket restaurant. I was a lucky walk-in. However, it is highly recommended to make reservations as it seems to be fully booked days in advance. The staff was very friendly and efficient. All smiles. I had the Bresaola, the Gamberi and the Tiramisu. All beautifully presented and very tasty. One of the prawns maybe a little less firm than ideal, but generally the main course was a real treat. The Tiramisu a very generous portion, and followed by an espresso it made me feel I was in italy.

With the price of ice cream per scoop, it should be the homemade one but it wasn’t. This was our 2nd dinner at Carlo Ristorante. It is on the expensive side, so perfect for celebrating a special occasion. My only recommendation is to add a few more vegetarian options. I was a bit disappointed to see even the ravioli and tortellini dishes were available as meat only. The desserts were great, particularly the chocolate mousse. You can choose to sit in or outside; we chose the patio which was perfect for a warm evening. We had a wonderful dinner in a really nice atmosphere!

Our family had a very nice time here. The food was generous and tasty. We had ordered 3 salads, 1 pizza, 2 pastas, 1 shellfish, and 1 spinach. All were good. The atmosphere here is charming, and the friendly owner showed up a few times to check with us. There is no air conditioning here but the fans make it quite comfortable.

Carlo restaurant has to be one of the best Italian restaurants in Hua Hin. The gnocchi Gorgonzola is the tastiest we have ever tried. Their mussels and other starter dishes were equally delicious. Great location opposite Centers Grand Hotel right in town. Carlo is a great host and he keeps his staff on their toes. Well worth a visit!

My family enjoyed the outdoor terrace on the beautiful weather on Jan. 1, 2021. We ordered fried Calamari, Burrata Cheese, pizza & pasta. I think the winner were fried Calamari & Pasta, cooked perfectly. I didn’t like tomato sauce on Four Cheeses pizza, I personally think it will be better without. Wine list was decent but sufficient, good selection from the restaurant. May be we arrived 13:00, so the service was a bit rush which understandable on the restaurant side. If the restaurant taking Jan.1st into the consideration, they should pay OT to the staff & let us enjoyed a bit more (Small issue). Overall, I rate Carlo a Good restaurant but some room to improve to earn perfect 5 stars rating from me. Will definitely revisit again if I have an urge for Italian in Hua Hin.
