The room was very nice with great decor and nice balcony area overlooking the gardens. The balcony sitting area could do with some cushions though. The bed was comfortable even though I could tell the mattress was getting old. Nice pool and garden setting, but the place in general has definitely seen better days. Many plants growing through cracks in the concrete along the walkways and fresh paint is needed in some areas as well. Breakfast.....this was the worst part of our stay. Processed bacon and sausages from cp foods, terrible, an omelette that tasted like dish water and low grade cheap coffee beans that were extremely bitter. Its time for a new chef. All round, not a 5 star, but nearly a 4 star. Staff were friendly.

We arrived after a very busy week in Bangkok. The staff are wonderful and welcoming, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the pool is lovely with jets to sit in, or a deeper bit for jumping. The views are gorgeous to the ocean and when you're swimming in the pool, you get a sense that it joins the ocean. We saw a large lizard much to our delight and swam in the rain on a rainy day! Plumerias constantly fall from the trees providing perfect hair accessories! It was a gorgeous escape in paradise and we couldn't have been happier. Bring plug in mosquito repellent for your rooms, we've barely been bitten. The beach has white sands and fun to crab watch. Definitely recommend a sunrise walk along the beach.

My friends told me the breakfast at this hotel was so good. Of course, it was very good. There were grilled pork and hot soy milk. Thai cuisine was delicious. You could choose for outdoor or indoor table.

Where to start….. location are great, and the rooms are alright… The hotel is not maintained and there is a strong undertone that they are struggling being profitable, right or wrong, but it clearly feels like they try to take every advantages of change that. Sadly we are victims to that. Breakfast are not adequate to what is expected and the staff are clearly controlled and checked by they executive’s which scares them being independently drivers in their job. Beds are alright, but not more. When prices equals European pricing, there are more to expect….

Went in expecting a lot based on the reviews from other customers. We got upgraded at check in which was a nice gesture however the room is outdated and there was a strong whiff of mold. When asked they simply said it is because of old wood. The in house restaurant where we had a lunch, provided a mediocre tasting meal. The breakfast was way too simple for a huge resort and the food was not properly handled (flies on the cheese) which urged us not to have a lot of things and skip breakfast. The saving grace is the location however there were many other newer properties with the same price range that I would book for the next time.

Beautiful hotel in colonial style. The comfy room and great service made me feel homey. Breakfast is ok, chef have good artistry. But dinner seafood buffet not worth it. Seafood not fresh unfortunately.

It is a ver beautiful resort, with a nice garden, located directly on the beach. The resort is built in colonial style, very nice roomsvthey are large enough also decorated in style. Each room has decoration of the province/region they are named after. The cleaners start banging on the door early even if the do not disturb sign is on. And if you pass on the first round you need to call in order to get the room cleaned at a later time. We had to call a few times as towels and soap were not replaced. Breakfast is somewhat mediocre, limited choice although the quality of the food is good. A nice pool with jacuzi jets, dive area and infinity look over the beach, bar service available and pool towels are provided. The beach is nice at low tide however at high tide there is no beach left and you need to sit on the hotel grounds as the water comes up to the garden wall. Cicada market is walking distance but that's only in the weekends. Town center, Bluport or Village market are not in walking distance. It is best to havevown transportation. Overall a good place to stay, we are definitely planning to come back!

Although this is an older hotel & a few things need renovating I absolutely loved the dreamy & romantic atmosphere here! The reception area is gorgeous as are the tropical gardens. We had two double rooms that connected on the balcony which was fine for our family. The rooms were a bit dark but very clean. We were on the second floor looking into the tree tops, absolutely wonderful! The beach is great for long walks in the morning. It is in walking distance to the Weekend Tamarind & Cicada Night Markets which is great for dinner. There are also bikes to use. We got a good deal on Agoda & would definitely recommend! One of my all time favourite hotels!💙💜💙

This is small but very nice resort. We have stayed here for 10 days. Inner garden is beautiful and whole atmosphere makes life very relaxing. A nice beach is at one end of the resort.

Booked the hotel for family vacation on 13-14 January 2024. The staffs were very welcoming and attentive. The room was spacious and clean. Even though it was a bit older hotel than others in the same area but the peacefulness and hotel’s relaxing atmosphere were making up for it. Unfortunately we were visiting during the high tide so we were unable to walk along the beach. All in all, we loved our stay there and we’ll come back again! Thank you Wora Bura team, it was an amazing experience for us.

A lovely resort with all buildings in the old wooden Thai style. Really lovely ensemble, lovely grounds to walk around, the grounds are really well-maintained. My room was large and spacious, with a balkony (even with a rocking chair!), a lovely bathroom, all, again old-style, quaint, lovely. The resort offers a regular shuttle service into town and to the various markets, which is quite helpful as it is a bit far to walk. The location, on Khao Takiab beach, is great otherwise. There are some very nice Thai restaurants on the main road, which are just a few minutes' walk from the resort (if you don't mind walking through a bit of a short-cut). Breakfast was lovely and varied. The beach-front restaurant in the resort I found a bit disappointing. The staff were always very helpful and attentive. I really enjoyed my stay at Wora-Bura and would go there again!

I really enjoyed this hotel. It's beautiful with a wonderful garden. The rooms are well sized and the staff were great. It could do with a bit of a refresh in some spaces, but that doesn't detract from the grandeur of the hotel. The breakfasts are well catered for with a decent spread.

A beautiful resort to unwind and recharge your batteries. Highly recommend to those wanting a chilled escape in beautiful surroundings. Rooms are spacious and spotless and it made a very nice change from the usual minimalist design you get everywhere else. Easy to access centre with free shuttle or cheap grab ride. This is one of the cheaper 5 stars in hua hin making it outstanding value for money.

If you like heritage properties this is it. Short walk to cicada and tamarind which is the best weekend food stops in hua hin and far enough from the noise of the main market.

Beautifully appointed hotel in stunning surroundings, with a classic traditional Thai vibe. The Staff are very friendly and attentive. Good sized rooms equally well appointed and very clean. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay. The resort is located just beside the beach. Rooms are great here and they have unique Thai style decorations. The welcome drink is great 😃. Nice and peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. Nearby place to visit: Art market Tamarind market - for foodies.

Set a few hours away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, if you're looking for some beach fun but not Phuket or Pattaya; go to Hua Hin. I found it a little slower paced- which I loved. The rooms were super spacious for singles/ couples. Beds were firm. I found the no durian sign comical in the room, but now I get it. Lol! Fantastic location, beautiful gardens, huge pool and easy beachfront access. Hotel is walking distance to the Cicada Night Market (see food pics). Service at hotel was excellent and they went above and beyond to accomodate our group. I would definitely stay here again.

This is by far the worst 5 star hotel i have ever seen! Close to 3 star to be fair. No kidding. The food is below average, they cant speak english and the price is way off. Not to mention the drinks. How on Earth they got 5 star, is a mystery. We will never come back!

Beautiful setting and great history for this hotel. It does need a little maintenance. Staff is very friendly and food is good. If you are staying in this area, the Wora Bura is definitely an excellent choice.

Pool is okay and hotel directly on the beach. Positively to mention the welcome drink, which is nicely presented. Bad side is definitely the service. Once pool towels are gone, you need to actively ask for new ones, which means going to the reception as there is no staff at the pool in the morning. Also during dinner service (buffet for Songkran) service was non-existend. Empty plates stayed on the table until the end and food ran out. Also during breakfast many dishes frequently run out and are not refilled. Definitely not anywhere close to the typical service of a 5 star hotel and would not stay again.

The old style of the hotel is impressive, and rooms are large - so is the pool. Staff members all helpful and kind. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired though, and we tried the dinner that wasnt great either. Pool bar mostly closed while the pool is so full you cant find empty sun loungers.. why? Old style furniture while pretty, not really comfortable.

I like this type of hotel, more traditional than modern, probably more 4 star than 5 but i would still stay again. Very friendly and helpful staff, nice gardens and pool area which always had a lounge free and right on the very clean beach. Nice big room and comfy beds with a bath. At the end of the street so no crazy traffic and two great weekend markets close by.

Wonderful hotel directly at sea side. It is a silent place. Very friendly and charming staff. You can relax extraordinary. I come again.

Love this hotel. The location right on the beach and close the art market is great. The gardens are beautifully landscaped and create a relaxing atmosphere. The pool has a great view of the sea. The staff are lovely and friendly. Really a great place to stay for a chilled and relaxing escape from Bkk

Feel ancient Thai with this Hotel. Good for group and ones who like nature. A step a ways from the beach.

Feel like staying in the Mridadayavan Palace. Effective and efficient service. The blue diamond in Huahin. Thanks for keeping our Thai treasure and history in this resort that we can touch.

Antieque style and decoration, plenty of trees. Normally i saw the foreign guests. Can walk along the beach. The meal are not good from my idea, both dinner and breakfast. I bought coupon for foot massage, Uhm.. it is just fine for me.

Excellent stay at this charming resort. All the staff are polite, friendly and provided excellent customer service during our stay. Highly recommend if you want to experience traditional Thai culture.

Really enjoyed our stay, but if I was to be super critical, I think the breakfast staff's manner didn't reflect the rest of the hotel. Also, the breakfast dishes were mostly the same each day. Nevertheless, the room, location, reception and bar staff were excellent, so we're going back again in October!

Unique traditional Thai style decoration, and service concept, privacy green environment, warm natural atmosphere, very nice decoration in detail and useful relax with happiness.

They are looking after my mum and dad brilliantly with true Thai hospitality and offer guests discounts too and buy one get one free cocktails 5-7 which is delightful. Only thing to mention is that the water comes up high to the hotel so at high tide you cannot directly access the beach from the hotel and the steps to the beach need serous refurbishment as they are dangerous even with hand rails. Maybe laying towels down before you walk would help this situation. Food is good here. Pool is nice. Quiet area and lovely traditional Thai rooms. Definitely recommend.
