I tried mocha here. It was excellent and I loved it. The mochas are really good here that sometimes they run out of mochas nearing lunch. I loved the interior of this place. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. The place was pretty crowded and had to wait almost 10-15 mins.. but it was worth it. The staffs are very friendly They are very fast and dedicated to their job. There is street parking right outside the cafe. Mostly, it's full but the streets near to the cafe also has street parking so would be fine.

A very quaint and inviting respite from the hectic everyday around Bank Street. Attentive and friendly staff make sure everything is just right. Indulge in one of their many delights such as a Breakfast Cookie or a Scone, or delicious croissants. A great atmosphere to unwind and enjoy excellent coffee amongst a nice hip crowd!

The Arlington Five was such an unexpected treat! While waiting for our table at Wilf and Ada, we grabbed a coffee and a lemonade and enjoyed the fast paced thrill of the comings and goings. The flat white was delicious and I enjoyed the strength of the coffee to oat milk ratio, but felt it was on the small side. The sour cherry lemonade was so refreshing and exactly what we needed. We had to wait for a table as the wasps had taken over their outdoor spaces (what’s with Ottawa and wasps?!) Staff are friendly. Water was gross and tepid tasting :(

I love the community heart of this place as much as I love their coffee. It’s a cozy spot both indoors and out, but I especially love how they try to foster connections to the community and between people — by hosting brainstorming sessions, or holding mini markets, or doing non-alcoholic nights on occasion… But of course the coffee and food is important too, and both are excellent. They use coffee by small, ethical local roasters, and make tasty baked goods and a very delicious breakfast sandwich too. Such a friendly place overall.

Small space but great if you can get a table! The tofu sandwich didn’t look appetizing but looks are deceiving because it was very tasty. Coffee is made well here.

Cute place with yummy drinks but be prepared to be overwhelmed if you don’t like crowded areas. Service was super friendly and fast considering how busy it was! :)

Stopped by on a trip to Ottawa. Tasty treats and coffee! Staff were friendly with explaining menu options even with a packed cafe. Recommend the classic breakfast sandwich on a croissant!

Wonderful small coffee shop with warm atmosphere. Had the regular drip coffee here and flat white, as well as the ham and cheese breakfast. All were pretty good. We look forward to try their Tofu breakfast sandwich next time when dropping by ! There is no parking lot for this spot, but you can always find street parking (very convenient too). This coffee shop looks to be a community favorite, with really really wonderful staff and good food. We're excited to come back for more!

First time in Ottawa and a friend of mine recommended this coffee shop to me. Well it’s the best coffee I had in Ottawa, not sure if it’s saying much since I’ve only been to 3 independent coffee shops in Ottawa but it was pretty good and far better than those other two. The oat latte was very well done, not sure what bean they used but keep using it! Will be back next time I’m in Ottawa for sure.

Unexpectedly tasty if you’re 1st time to give it a try with long black. You wouldn’t stop to give it a 2nd try. Those complicated vitally soar brewing blends are magic. Rarely do I take photos for coffee shops but Arlington Five is an exception.

Beautiful little Cafe with nice vibes to it. Baked products looked homemade and saw them coming out fresh. This would be a great place to sit and enjoy a nice relaxing moment to yourself.

Good coffee, excellent sandwiches and baked goods, and super atmosphere. Love the eclectic and repurposed furniture. Always smells like freshly baked goods, and always buzzing with happy people talking. Also, love the back patio in the summer. Just perfect!

First time here and very much enjoyed this place. I had a drip coffee and it was outstanding, they roast their own beans, as good or better than other "fancy" coffee shops in Vancouver. The egg sandwhich was also delicious, hit the spot.

My friend ordered a coffee, I ordered a tea. Both were great and we had a nice visit. The place was hoppin'! I think we met at around 10am on the weekend. A popular spot that I'm happy to support! Love how they treat their staff. Love this good business in our community * insert clapping*

Lovely local coffee shop! A variety of pastries and many of them are gluten free and/ or vegan. Many coffee options available with lots of different types of milks. I bought a bag of ground coffee that I can’t wait to try too! They also sell soaps and plants and lil things. A decent amount of seating available too. I also really really appreciate that they are still holding a vaccine mandate! Makes me feel so much safer. Thank you so much!

Cute coffee house, baristas are experienced to make craft coffee using high end espresso machines. We could order hot drinks and pick them up later on. Nice and informative owner.

I finally got to try Arlington Five and I was very satisfied. We got Cold Brew Lemonade, Iced Matcha Oat Latte, and a Cheddar Green Onion Scone. My friend enjoyed his Cold Brew Lemonade very much! I really liked how the latte was full of flavour, with the right amount of sweet and subtleness. The oat milk went well with the latte. I was most of all very surprised and pleased with the scone. I usually find pastries at coffee shops to be just okay to decent, but this scone was very, VERY delicious. The cheddar or onion combined tasted extremely well, neither playing a stronger taste. The scone was soft and warm. I was very pleasantly surprised the whole time I ate my scone. I would visit this coffee shop again and again!

One of my favourite coffee shops in Ottawa for sure. The service is always exceptional and friendly. We were curious about the non-alcoholic wine they were selling and they offered us an impromptu tasting which was so kind and generous. Love their lattes, blueberry buttermilk muffins and blackberry scones. Delicious! They were also super welcoming of our puppy. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Best breakfast sandwich in town. I am a frequent visitor and staff have taken the time to remember my name and always make me feel so welcome. It is these little things that make my day brighter. I also recommend the buttermilk muffins and the heavenly grey and signature black teas.

Great vibes at this cafe. They offer milk alternatives (almond and oat) at no extra cost! What a win! They also have WiFi! They do close a bit early but you can still continue working on the tables outside. :).

Great coffee and atmosphere. The style feels a bit eclectic, very queer, kind of retro aesthetic going on. Cool patio out back + decent amount of seating inside. Bonus points for really cool art on the walls.

I had a wonderful experience at Arlington 5 this morning. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating and offered to bake me 6 muffins for pick up later in the day. I was blown away by the kindness and friendliness I received and the muffins were delicious! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly service. Thank you!

I spent a great Sunday afternoon on the back patio of the cafe. Very nice music by DJ Little Fever and excellent coffee. I will come back other times!

Favourite neighbourhood cafe. Can get busy during rush times, so might not get a table, but usually not an issue. Back patio is a nice option for outside seating. Great menu, lots of variety. Prices on par with most other spots. Friendly staff, community vibes. Would be nice for them to do something about the flies that buzz around quite a bit inside. Otherwise great!

Now that the summer is coming to a full stop, I’ll be missing my favourite breakfast spot. Always serve a fresh brew and an even fresher day. Leave it to them to start your day at your best.

Great drinks and sandwiches, seating space is limited though. Pretty aesthetic for instagram worthy photos. They offer alternative non-dairy milk options.

I visited a few times several years ago and loved the spot, and just moved back to the neighbourhood recently. When I arrived for the first time again, the sweet owner remembered me. Incredible team working there - great energy and so community-oriented. Great lattes too!

Somehow stumbled across an article about this place using "The Box of Life" --research it. Decided to support local--so grateful I did. Amazing coffee, crunchy cookies with exceptional customer service. They also run a ''Feed a Neighbor initiative" That inspired me to become more neighborly.

Stopped by here on the way while driving back from QC to Toronto. I got thee iced matcha oat latte and could barely taste the matcha and ended up asking the barista to add some more matcha but it was still very light after. The espresso based drinks were good.
