August 15th, 2022, First of all I’m probably the least pickiest person ever but tonight pretty much crossed the line and I was only in the room maybe an hour before I spotted 7 large bugs crawling around on the bed in room 114. I left immediately afterwards and reported it to the lady in the office and she informed me they were water Beatles because a pipe broke and she doesn’t know how to do a refund either. Plus the bathroom light didn’t work as well. I’ll be working with the better business bureau for a refund of what I paid for the room ASAP if the owner doesn’t already do it because now I have to drive to the next town and find a new place to stay. Other than the bugs and light not working, this hotel has a lot of potential and with some work it could really become a cute and cozy place to stay, I enjoyed seeing the layout of the complex and I’ll be praying for good things to happen with Sky Palace Inn & Suits Hutchinson, Kansas!!

The owner will take your money for things that were already messed up in the room when you arrive so if you stay take pictures Dear Sky-place inn I indeed did stay at your hotel and there was most definitely well over $150 in damages that you took from my boyfriends account that were for cigarette burns that were already there and other damages that were made before we were there not to mention the old rusty razor in the shower and used soap also the already burnt carpet was not vacuumed and overall the rest of the room definitely could have been cleaned by a 5 yr old and looked better than the way it was

Affordable motel near main street for shopping and sightseeing, however it was pretty trashy. We couldn't use the shower because the pipes were leaking into the room below ours, and they didn't offer us a different room or even an apology. The room itself smelled dusty like an antique store. Microwave, fridge and wifi all worked at least. Could've been worse.

Affordable rooms. Quite area . McDonald's across the street. Close to a lot of shops.

The place is miserable. Only reason I was here was because neither the Sunflower or Astro give refunds... And then when you try to clean your own room of all the mold and grime, they charge you $25 for a tiny scratchy foottowel because you stained it. The owner and manager for both places are the same, so I shouldn't have expected better. The manager Sherry Hearn said it best when she screamed at us, "Well, if you wanted a CLEAN room, you should have gone to the Days Inn"

Really wasn't that bad. The sheets were really nice. The breakfast got the job done. Included toast, bagels, cereal, fruit, yogurt and juice. It was too chilly to swim but the pool looked okay. Was a little bit run down and noisy but the only hotel available during the state fair.

Very nice spot for a great price. Owner is welcoming and friendly. Clean and comfortable beds are a plus. I will definitely stay here again.

If I could give them a negative rating I would but I put my I’d as a deposit and he’s not letting me get it back from him I’ve tried to give him money and the cops were even called

Nice simple and quiet. The guy who owns it is a very nice and thoughtful person,I've known Chris since I was 16 when he hired me to work at Fazoli's. Don't know many people running 2 hotel's,a limousine business plus the many other numerous things he does for people throughout his day while also trying to spend time with his family take the time to give a gift/invite his hotel guest's over for Christmas dinner.

We made a reservation but our trip got cancelled. The front desk would not answer the phone and all calls were transferred to a voice mailbox that's full. After 3 days of trying to call and cancel, we gave up. They charged us for the room anyway. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere!

Well the rooms were not bad. They have upgraded there bedding and pillows. Much cleaner than previously. But I just can't get around how the owner isn't very personable. I asked him for clean towels and toilet paper and he told me I had to wait for the maid to get there. And even after she came, she didn't bring us towels or toilet paper. All the rooms are no smoking, but they have set a chair outside each room if you wish to sit outside and smoke. I found it quite pricey for not much service. Also the owners let there dogs use the bathroom just outside some of the rooms. Keep that in mind as well.

I personally HIGHLY RECOMMEND someone staying at the Sky Palace or the SUNFLOWER hotels... The owner , Mr. Chris , is really great at treating his guests with RESPECT, and BOTH HOTELS have EXCEPTIONALLY great rooms ... I have stayed in both of these hotels , and have been treated like family , , NOT A GUEST.... BOTH HOTELS HAVE GREAT ROOMS , GREAT PRICIES , AND THE SKY PALACE HAS A SWIMMING POOL , which is VERY WELL MAINTAINED... The properties are exceptional in cleanliness, and the owner and manager , MR.CHRIS & MS. SHERI , , ALWAYS ARE AVAILABLE TO ATTEND TO THE NEEDS OF THE GUESTS ..... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE SUNFLOWER AND SKY PALACE HOTELS TO EVERYONE ..... U WILL BE VERY PLEASED WITH UR STAY. AS I HAVE BEEN .....

Would give zero stars if I could. Owners discriminate against people with disabilities and blatantly say they “don’t care about federal laws” while being recorded no less. extremely ignorant and close minded, refused to read the law even when it’s politely pointed out right in front of them. All they care about is trying to charge you extra $$$$. Don’t stay here. Not a great area of town and trash and broken furniture is everywhere. Cheap for a reason

ANY LITTLE ISSUE WE HAD THEY WERE RIGHT ON IT. NO ATTITUDE STAFF WAS AMAZING. WE WERE NEVER UP IN TIME FOF BREAKFAST LOL SO I CANT COMMENT ON THAT. THE POOL WAS FUN. ALL 4 OF MY KIDDOS LOVED IT. THE PRICE WAS REALLY GOOD AS WELL. ID DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN IF AND WHEN I COME BACK FOR A VISIT.

This place has no updated pics, place looks run down, in my listing for a place to lay my head down an pet's in my listing on air bnb, This Place does not allow cats. VERY UPSETTING AN FRUSTRATING TO THINK IM GOOD TO FIND OUT I SPENT MONEY ON A PLACE I DIDNT EVEN STAY. AIR BNB SHOULD TAKE THIS PLACE OFF THEIR LISTING.

Look elsewhere. Rooms were nice considering the low price, but other factors led to a pretty bad experience. Cops were at the hotel from about 9-11pm as the owner kicked a screaming tenant out. On top of this, the owner is just pretty rude. He stood and watched as his dog peed on my vehicle twice. Not the kind of behavior you’d expect from someone trying to have a successful business. Pay a little more and save yourself the trouble!

I paid a pet fee for my little chihuahua to stay with me she doesn't use the bathroom indoors and she doesn't shed that bad I made sure the room was picked up all trash in the baskets and there wasn't a mess of any kind I was robbed 20 dollars because he said there was dog hair on the bedding that should be washed between renters anyway I will never go back
