One of the few good Italian restaurants in Irvine. My family and I have been going to Angelina’s for over two years. Delicious food and very good service. The staff are very courteous too. The Branzino is a must try!

Food: 3/5 Service and Setting: 3.5/5 Value: 2/5 Located near the Irvine Spectrum, Angelina’s Pizzeria was recommended to me by a friend. Parking is plentiful as it is in a family-friendly plaza. We ordered to-go and informed the person helping us and he went and grabbed a different server to help us. Our server was very helpful and recommended the Calabrese Pizza to us. The interior was a good mix of modern and traditional details and had a clean and fancier atmosphere. Calabrese Pizza: 2.5/5 A Neapolitan-style pizza with a charred crust and thin crust, the Calabrese is topped with smoked buffalo mozzarella, roasted bell peppers, basil, red onions, spicy nduja, sausage, and extra virgin olive oil. The toppings on the pizzas were fresh and the crust was well-cooked. My issue with this pizza firstly is the overall composition. All of the toppings were very wet and did not adhere to the pizza well. The moisture from the toppings also made the dough underneath less crispy and even soggy. The slices had no structural integrity and bent from their own weight. As I mentioned earlier, we got this pizza to-go and ate it literally 3 minutes after we brought it out of the restaurant. The pizza frankly was not hot, not even lukewarm. One of my favorite parts of eating a wood-fired pizza is having almost crispy basil and its intense flavor but the basil here was drowning and dull. For the price of $26.00, a very humble portion, and poor execution, I cannot recommend this pizza.

Angelina's Pizzeria Napoletana is an excellent choice for anyone looking for authentic, delicious Neapolitan-style pizza. From the moment you step into the restaurant, you're greeted with the warm and inviting aroma of freshly baked pizza, and the friendly staff is always ready to provide helpful recommendations and ensure your dining experience is top-notch. The menu at Angelina's is focused on traditional Neapolitan-style pizza, made with high-quality, fresh ingredients that truly elevate the flavors of the pies. The crust is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, with just the right amount of char from the wood-fired oven. The toppings are plentiful, but never overpowering, and always perfectly balanced. All in all, Angelina's Pizzeria Napoletana is a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic, delicious pizza. Highly recommended!

We are on the way to LAX and chose this place for dinner. It’s pretty beautiful place for nice meal. We sat at the bar and ordered one pizza, one appetizer and one dessert. The pizza is fine, not amazing, but fairly good. Brussel sprouts are delicious, but I only see it on happy hour menu. Mini cannoli is our dessert, it is yummy, but impressed me too much. But here’s atmosphere and service is great! Our bartender is friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s a good experience.

The food is delicious. Recommend the pizzas. The dough is yummy and not heavy. Calamari was delicious. Panna cotta is a must. Cocktails were prepared nicely. Great meal and nice atmosphere. Only issue was the service. Waiter was nice but would be missing for chunks of time. Couldn't tell if he was busy, but we didn't come at a time when the restaurant was overly full. Wouldn't recommend if you are in a hurry. Parking is an issue during peak hours. Other than that, the food is great.

The food and service are always good. The buffalo mozzarala and meatball appetizers are amazing! The salads, steaks and desserts are always good. I have never had a bad meal here. You can count on top quality food and service every time. I highly recommend this place.

I’ve dined multiple times, and it’s always pleasant. The food, ambiance, service & interior design is immaculate. Enjoy a glass of Rosé! It pairs well with the food. To begin, we ordered the “Burratina.” Which is a creamy Burrata cheese with prosciutto, sliced peaches & arugula. It is a light dish, but it’s so delicious, especially tasting the balanced sweet saltiness of the prosciutto. For entrees, we ordered the Margherita pizza & Gnocchi. The Margherita pizza is a pizza you should order when dining at an Italian place. It’s simple yet, it has all the flavors you need for the ingredients to shine. The Gnocchi was also a delicious plate. I’ll be back!

I had the spicy Diavola pizza and Chardonnay over the weekend. The foods and service was amazing. My parent came into the town so I decide to bring them here. They were really happy with everything and have a great time. Would highly recommend the place and come back in the future. 😁👍🏻

Delicious neopolitan pizza. You can tell the dough, sauce, and mozzarella cheese are fresh and high quality. I've had pizza in Naples, Italy...and this is the closest I've tasted to that in the US. Really good. The tomato sauce is what really hits it out of the park for me. Tastes like it's made with fresh tomatoes. The atmosphere is really nice here too and our server was very friendly. I just have to add in response to some other people's negative reviews of the pizza here...if you don't like this style of pizza, that's fine but just recognize that American pizza and Italian pizza are not the same. Don't come here expecting Domino's. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Excellent artisan pizza and calzone. The tap beer is top notch. The service was speedy and super cordial too. If you want to feel like you're dining with Angelina herself then come here. You deserve it.

Upscale Italian join with delicious pizza and nice vibe. Very attentive host and waiter. Only recommend booking your spot ahead of time as there are not too many tables and it's quite busy.

All the foods are delicious for me. Especially pizza is super great!

I was in the mood for a good pizza and heard this was a place to try. The setting is very nice and upscale. The service was great and attentive. We tried several pizzas and all were delicious. I slightly modified my Laziale, swapping the artichoke for walnuts. Mmmm. My daughter and the Angelina, and my wife the Capriccios. All were delicious. We also had the melanzane alla parmigiana, which was great.

Stopped in here a few times a while back. Really like the ambiance and how festive it always felt. Bar service was great. One of my fondest memories here was sitting next to the owner (I think) or someone that had some sort of ties to it. This was back in 2016 or 2017 and he bought me a Whistle Pig Manhattan I believe it was. It was phenomenal! I remember I was going to order another one and he told me to let it kick in first and golly he was right. I didn’t need another one! It was a fun experience my wife and I both enjoyed it. Can’t wait to come back at some point.

The service is nice, and the recommendation from waiter are good too. We ordered 3 different kind of pizzas, and they are all very fresh and delicious. Love their Burratina and BURRATA E TARTUFO, the truffle made it just perfect! And their desserts are also good too. I would love to go back again!!

The place has outside and inside seating. We ate here several times for lunch and dinner. We liked both menu options. Nice ambiance, service is professional and attentive. All our food choices were good , one of the best tiramisu’s we’ve had.

The food is average nothing special but the service is horrible! I was surprised by the quality of service but with little observation I was able to find out why! Stupidity! Yes that’s right. I came during happy hours so I ordered an item from the happy hour menu and they told me it’s only available if you sit outside. Of course I replied it’s cold outside and I am with my kid. The waiter replied with “sorry it’s restaurant policy! “ I asked what if there are no seats available outside? He answered “ it’s restaurant policy sir”. Of course the starters arrived after the main dish and we had to shout every time we needed something. Just looking around the restaurant I noticed menus were still on the tables while people are eating. Never again will I go there!

The food has always been hit or miss. Customers tell me you’re best going with the simple pizza. Service is excellent and I love the environment. High ceilings and spacious well planned design/architecture.

Love this place to death! Great atmosphere for meals with friends or a date night. Have to go for their pizza and their ingredients (tomatoes, wines, cheeses) are sourced directly from Italy so you are getting the proper stuff.

Awesome italian food highly recommend, their pizza is one of the best you'll find anywhere and the service is tops. They even have servers who speak Italian super authentic.

Came here during the 2022 OC restaurant week and ordered their lunch set. Pretty happy with the quality and portion of the food. The margarita pizza was amazing as always, and the cannoncini with mango sauce was excellent. Definitely recommended.

The ambiance and decor of the place has a modern italian style which is plesant to look at. However the high celing, tile floors, and the lack of deviders makes for a rather noisy place. Ordered the Risotto di Asparagi con Capesante and Branzino. The Risotto had a very light flavor which was compized mostly of butter and asparagus. The scallops that came with it were rather salty and fishy tasting. The Branzino (Sea Bass) was cooked just right. It was light and buttery with a delicious crust. The potatoes that came with it had a smokey, nutty flavor yet some of the tomatoes were overwhelmingly salty. Aside from the sea bass and potatoes the meal wasn't impressive. If we come back we'll try the pizza instead.

Great food and service; the pictures here (including mine) don't really show it but it's a very nice place. I'd say it's on a higher end. I felt comfortable dressing up for a dinner

Food was pretty good, this place had plenty of hype going into it, but just fell a little short for me. The pizza and calzone we had were quite good, just didn't live up to the lofty expectations.
