2022 update, removing a few stars: Ruth's Chris' decor has not held up. It is very plain and not representative of the prices charged. The steaks are no longer tender and flavorful. As little as a year ago there was a perfect amount of buttery char and you could taste the flavor grilled within the meat. Now, Texas Roadhouse has a far better tasting steak for half the price. The serving sizes for sides were cut in half, and the quality has diminished greatly. They are not worth ~$15.The bread brought to the table was only cut for three, but we had four people seated. Really good food and good service. Parking is a problem unless you valet or walk all the way from the parking structure. It can get a little noisy for a nice place.

KC was excellent. This was my first time visiting a RC restaurant. I ordered the lobster bisque and chopped salad. Unfortunately, I didn’t like either items I ordered. I hesitated to say something bc she was so nice, and I usually always love my food, so I was a little embarrassed to say something. But she was very understanding, and offered me another dish. Because of her, I am giving a 5/5 rating. Please let her know we appreciated her.

What an amazing experience! Our first time there, we were celebrating our 8th anniversary! We made a reservation using the OpenTable app for Friday at 4 pm. Valet is available for $3 or $7 depending on the days and hours that you come. Highly recommended. We paid $3 today. Cool atmosphere inside with the lights dimmed, very comfortable and welcoming. Clean and well organized. Our waiters’ name was Michael, such a high energy guy, very friendly, very knowledgeable on the plates, very kind, and attentive. The food was so delicious. We had the Fried Calamari for appetizer, 16 oz New York Steak, 8 oz Petite Fillete with Shrimps, side of sweet potatoes casserole and creamed spinach. The. A crème brûlée to finish. Everything was cooked to perfection. Juicy, tasteful steaks, excellent shrimp, delicious dessert. An amazing dinner! Thank you!

First time here at the place. I ordered bone in filet (medium plus) and it was perfect. Order Brussels sprouts as well, was overloaded with butter. I will not order it again.

One of my favorite steakhouses ♡ I would come back every 3 months. The sweet potato casserole is my fav side dishes.

An excellent experience all the way around. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was amazing. My ribeye was cooked a perfect medium rare and melted in my mouth. Cocktails were great too, and they didn't overload them with ice so I felt like I got my money's worth. Parking is a bit of a nightmare in this area but you do have the option for valet parking for $7.

First time visit.. From the moment we were greeted by the valet, to the time we left the restaurant the experience was PERFECT! Nice comfortable interior with great ambiance. Our server Pamela was friendly, professional and answered all our questions about the menu/wine. The lobster bisque was great as was the crab stuffed mushrooms. We both had medallions with shrimp (perfectly cooked to medium). Wasn't thrilled with the potatoes a la gratin, but loved the garlic potatoes that Pamela switched out for us. Overall a great experience and great food! Would highly recommend this location.

I took my girlfriend for her birthday. I did the reservation online and asked for a window table and that's what we got. We went early (4pm) to avoid the weekend crow.. The service was great, from the valet park to the waiters and servers.

An amazing meal as usual! I actually ordered online and picked up my meal to go. Everything was just as perfect to go as it is when dining at a location. Thank you Ruths Chris...fabulous meal. A real Wow factor was served with my food tonight!!!!

I had the New York steak and it was amazing. My bride had the sea bass and she said it was “to die for”. If you are in the bar, you need to see Rachel. She is the bartender that never stops moving and I’m pretty sure she is the mayor of this town, because employees and customers alike have to greet her upon entering and exiting.

Great food and great experience. This was my first time eating at a Ruth Chris Steak House, as I do not eat beef. However, the seabass and buttery melted in my mouth. Cooked to perfection. I did not know the hat policy, as we walked in seated. The waiters kindly asked our group to remove some of the hats they had on. I did notice other individuals in restaurant wearing hats, so I found the request a bit odd for our group to remove the hats. Nonetheless, we had a great time. 👍

If you want classy and perfectly cooked anything this is the spot. Be prepared to pay for quality but once you take your first bite of whatever you order, you know why.

I like the flavor at this location better than the one in Anaheim. No idea why but the taste is richer and seasoned to our liking.

You'll never feel down here. Everything is in good quality, steaks here are always delicious and juicy. Side orders are great too. It's a good place to celebrate or for special events.

My girlfriend and I have been going to Ruth Chris happy hour three or four times within the last few months each time we go we have the best service, wonderful steak sandwich which is on happy hour and we meet the nicest people. I'm not a drinker as per alcohol but I love my club soda with a splash of cranberry and lime, Rachel, make sure it's always refilled. Great atmosphere Raquel at the bar is very attentive and kind , always anticipate our needs. cheesecake is amazing!

Ordered Ruths Classic. Steak house salad was good, steak (medium rare +) was perfect, shrimp was ok, garlic mashed potatoes tasted plain and boxed, lobster Mac tasted like burnt cheese, cheese cake was ok and chocolate cake tasted like black coffee. The margarita was perfect. Server was polite but slow. Restrooms were dirty. Restaurant was nicely decorated.

Disappointing Experience at Ruth Chris(Irvine Location) Entering the restaurant on a Wednesday(01.03.24) evening should have been the start of a celebratory and enjoyable dining experience. Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in, it felt like a series of disappointments lined up, leaving a bitter taste that overshadowed any hope of a pleasant meal. Our encounter commenced with a hostess whose demeanor could only be described as disinterested. Her lackluster greeting and indifferent attitude set an underwhelming tone for the evening. Despite having made a reservation, we were left waiting for five long minutes before being acknowledged or seated with less than 50% capacity As we were finally led to our table, the frustration from the initial wait lingered. The ambiance of the steakhouse was lovely, but the promise of a delightful meal was promptly dashed when we were greeted by a waiter named Arthur. His demeanor exuded an aura of disdain as if our presence was an inconvenience to his day. Arthur's service was appalling. His indifference to our requests and impolite demeanor made it evident that he had no interest in making our dining experience pleasant. It's disheartening when the person supposed to guide you through your meal appears uninterested and borderline disrespectful. To exacerbate the already deteriorating experience, the manager's lack of attention was glaring. Despite making rounds to other tables, he completely disregarded our table after we were served, choosing to engage with neighboring patrons but overlooking our need for attention or inquiry into our satisfaction. Regrettably, the culmination of these disappointments ultimately marred what should have been a celebratory occasion. The poor and rude service rendered by Arthur overshadowed the potential delights of the meal and ambiance. It's disheartening when a restaurant fails to uphold basic standards of service, leaving guests feeling undervalued and ignored. In reflection, the inefficiency and lack of interest exhibited by the hostess, Arthur's rude and indifferent behavior, and the manager's disregard collectively painted a dismal picture of what dining at "Ruth Chris" should be. It's truly disappointing when an establishment with such promise fails to deliver due to the negligence of its staff, particularly Arthur, who significantly detracted from what could have been a memorable evening. ONE BIG COMPLIMENT WORTH MENTIONING IS TO A SERVER NAMED DAVID WHO WAS PROVIDING SERVICE TO THE TABLE NEXT TO US AND HE WAS SIMPLY AMAZING, wish we had him instead! 1. Photo(Chipped Glass) 2. K C is the best server I've ever had. She was absolutely amazing at her job. I had to leave a review for this place because of her. The Filet was really good as well.

New York strip steak & prime rib steak were both delicious & boneless ! Caesar salad( tons of cheese & croutons) & regular salad with tomatoes, bell peppers, & slices of onion was fantastic. Creamed spinach, mashed potatoes 🥔 & hot loafs of bread with butter ! Chocolate Ganache with raspberry sauce for dessert was yummy. All the food was top notch. I ate there 2x in 2weeks ! Go & eat there, you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely the best steak, ambiance and service period. Respectfully, I've tried them all and Ruth's Chris is #1. Cheers friends

The meal was amazing. Our waiter was attentive but I would say I noticed that the service was different between my table and another table she was assisting with. Not a big deal but i witnessed her sing happy birthday to the gentleman at that table and when after we purchased a dessert she Simply brought it over with a brief “Happy Birthday” in addition to that I see many people speaking on a complimentary birthday cake and that wasn’t even an option for us (not sure if that’s something that is still done in the restaurant). And lastly I understand everyone has a job but it would of been nice if he didn’t come scrapping the birthday confetti off the table before we was even done with our service. Again, food was great but let’s keep the service provided to the patrons the same across the board. You never know what’s being observed 😃

Here for meeting... Always excellent and very unobtrusive, professional staff. This time... I was in area 2 hrs early, so had a nice wine at Happy hour bar while I worked. Delightful! They made me feel welcome & still i got my work done in a fun atmosphere. I'm not a bar person, but for thus i will return!

It's definitely the best place to go for an excellent steak. Took the wife here for her birthday on Sunday and had a wonderful time. Our waiter was fantastic, and his knowledge of the menu was extensive. Great atmosphere. Excellent for anniversaries and birthdays.

I went to Ruth’s in Houston some 20 years ago and not since then. With three friends we went there couple of nights ago. Atmosphere had improved. My steak was late, they forgot it!! Guess it happens. Drinks were good. When my steak arrived, the plate was hot, I mean hot! Steak was smothered in butter and sizzled for a long time. My medium steak turned to well done by the time I was half way through. There was so much salt covering the meat, I had to scrape it off. The waitress, KC, was a gem. So kind and pleasant and that may have been the best thing that night. I now know why I haven’t been back in 25 years. You folks don’t know steak. I would love to come teach you some day, seriously.

I visit few times a week. In the bar nice people serving to me. Foods. People. Interior so nice. I visited again. Mr. Shane was is my man.

When looking for fine dinning, a nice dinner out with your spouse or a special event, Ruths Chris is the place. Their signature steaks are everything and always cooked to perfection. What first drew me to Ruth's Chris was their beautiful atmosphere that they have, enjoy the relaxatio. Their wine, desserts and bread are delicious...the lamb is so delicious and their steaks are amazing as well I've been a customer of Ruth Chris for over 15 years and have never been disappointed, it doesn't matter which location I go to. If you have the chance, try their lobster appetizers, you'll fall in love!

Probably came here around 3-4 times already for special occasions, business casual clothing, reservations are a must especially for special occassions, theyre mostly busy so call ahead a few days or make a reservation online. Cant go wrong with the - Filets - Au gratin - Asparagus - Stuffed Mushrooms with crab - Creamed Spinach those are my usual go-to's but anything on the menu a try atleast once. I usually look at the menu ahead of time but i end up changing my mind once im there cause they sometimes have an off menu special for certain occasions.

Everything about Ruth’s Chris is exceptional. From the food to the service, nothing disappoints. If you can save room for dessert, the cheesecake may be the best iv ever tasted! Where is it from? How is it so good? I really need to know.

Dang. Better than Mastro’s. I burned my hand on the plate. Ooops! Tomahawk cooked to perfection and cut table side for us. Extremely tender.

The best steakhouse experience. We only visit for special occasions every few years, but the food has always been amazing. Everyone in our party loved the apps, meats, sides, and desserts. Better than Mortons by a mile. The lighting is dim but not too dark. The service is wonderful.

I had a very good experience at Ruth's Chris. I started with the crab cakes and barbecue shrimp. Both were very good. I had a Cesar Salad, 16 oz. Ribeye, and the lobster mac and cheese. The waiter was very helpful. We ordered our choice of meat and the sides were enough to feed 3. Chocolate sin for my birthday song and I was very happy. Great place, great staff, and valet parking.

First time at this central location. Staff was attentive and friendly. The food was superb as expected. The ribeye with extra butter and the blue cheese topping is the way to go. I cannot wait to celebrate another Anniversary there!
