Had pasta, which tasted good. Wine was below average. However, the ambiente of the place was pretty terrible - very loud radio music which did not fit for dinner; no English menu; the waiters were not friendly and did not translate the menu for us; chaotic organization. Cannot recommend this place. PS: Waterglasses has fatty smudges on it, dirt on the floor, tablecloth was not clean either

A beautiful little restaurant with an amazingly friendly staff and fantastic food. This place has been the star restaurant of my trip to Italy thus far. I knew I needed to eat Florentine steak while in Florence and these brothers did a great job giving me an amazing experience. They had good wine knowledge, excellent service and most importantly a perfect Florentine steak. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

Excellent experience. The meat was outstanding. The courgette flowers were a delicious starter. For dinner we had a rib eye, I kg of deliciousness. Plus the cod, spaghettos and the grilled plate were terrific. Best meat we've had in Italy.

Best ravioli I have EVER eaten. It was so good I had to order it twice (something I have never done before). Why was it so good? The ravioli had a gorgeous soft filling but the best bit was the topping: caramelised onions, cooked baby tomatoes and pieces of bacon made for a dish where the flavours just all complemented each other perfectly. My girlfriend had the 220g steak which was so soft it melted on the palate. We're only staying in Florence for 24 hours but I feel like we should go back before we leave!

We came here to celebrate my husbands birthday and what a treat it was. The food was beyond delicious, the best steak I've had so far. The service was great, even the chef came and said hello. I would come againa nd surely recommend if u want to have a proper celebratory dinner.

Fantastic!!!!! We were recommended this restaurant by basically a stranger in a shop, who steared us away from the tourist traps in the centre. The food (steak fiorentina) was one of the best i have had. Cooked to perfection, seasoned beyond ideal, and as tasty as they get. The service, even though at the training stage, was friendly, attentive, and very welcoming. Whoever you are, grazie mille for reccomending this gem.

Came here on our first evening in Florence as we had no booking anywhere. We took a kg of steak and could eat only a small part of it as it was not edible. Left it in the plate and were told can’t do anything. Ambience is quite local, meat done in barbecue and smoke filling up the air. Make sure you do your bookings in advance and avoid such mistake.

We came following the recommendation of an acquaintance who lives in Firenze. In a word: excellent. The meats of the starter and the main course are of very good quality and very well cooked. They are plentiful and succulent. The tiramisu was also very good. The service is very welcoming, present and effective without being oppressive, taking into account the allergies announced. The wine recommendations were very adapted to our meal. The 3 areas of the room with their slightly different atmospheres are appreciable: the evening of a group did not bother at all, which is appreciable. We had a very good evening in a very good restaurant.

Traditional food and then some, perfect for meat lovers but also had very interesting pasta dishes. I had the gnudi with white sauce (and forgot to capture picture over my excitement!). We also split a steak which was delicious. Service was top notch, very and professional. Has prime seating in front of the grill but it wasn't too hot which was a plus.

We went to Trattoria I Fratellini Brace e Spiriti dal 1958 and it was an amazing experience! The food was so delicious, and the staff was super friendly and attractive. The guys in our group loved the Florentine steak. It was awesome to see them cook the meat in the wood-burning oven - the crackling and the smell of the olive wood just made it even better. The truffle and butter sage gnudi - and the black kale bruschetta - was also a hit, a real taste of Tuscany. The whole vibe of the place was really cozy and had that Tuscan charm. It was a perfect combination of great food and a welcoming atmosphere. We'd totally recommend Trattoria I Fratellini Brace e Spiriti dal 1958 to anyone who wants to experience authentic Tuscan cuisine and amazing service. We can't wait to go back for more!

It was the best time ever! The personnel who worked on 8-7-2022 were simply the best! The appetizer was great. The steak was awesome! It was the first time I ever had rare steak. The outer edges had just enough crunch or crisp on the outside. The cheesecake was excellent! The wine was great! Limoncello!!!! I will visit again. Grazie mille!

Super limited menu. So many things have been taped over and crossed out. Good if you want steak florentine, but that is more than I can eat.

Amazing dinner for four. So fun. The meat is real Tuscan style and seasoned marvelously. We enjoyed the naked ravioli as well. The staff was fun and professional and we enjoyed a wonderful evening out dining on real Tuscan food options.

Waiter brought the wrong dish that I didn't order and disappeared so I couldn't really find someone to fix the issue. The seafood pasta had hard tiny shells that I kept finding as I chewed. Old bread. Would not recommend.
