Fantastic bazar with all sorts of Knick knacks. When we visited they had, what seemed like, a hundred different pepper seedlings for sale in the central Maydan. You almost will not go wrong with the food there.

Another traditional Turkish Market. A must visit if you are in Izmir I guess. Variety of shops, you name it, it is there!

This bazaar has three main entrances. It is a beautiful bazaar and the old part of the grand Kemeralti bazaar. I am not sure if I can recommend any shopping, but definitely a visit is a must when you are in the neighborhood

Kızlarağası Inn was built by Hacı Beşir Ağa in 1744 according to the date on the building inscription. It is one of the oldest structures in Kemeraltı.

Nice authentic location for shopping and coffee.

One of places in Izmir to visit. It has long history, and lot of stores inside and around. If you drink a cay here it gives you taste and images from past. Recommended.

A very beautiful place and contains a lot of handicrafts from scenery, accessories and household items that are famous in Turkey and their prices are reasonable. Also, the sellers are very nice there

This is a huge place. Nice shops and loads of places to eat. You'll need good hard wearing shoes to walk this place. A must visit again.

Central to a visit to Kemeraltı Çarşısı, this is a great place to shop, take in the architecture and get your bearings as to where you want to go next 😊

A traditional courtyard with traditional set up. Takes you back to the time of beautiful good old times. Good stop for souvenirs, drinking Turkish coffee cooked on sand, and relaxing at the heart of Izmir.

Very cute marketplace, loaded with small gold/silver/jewelery . shops. Very nice coffee shop right in the center, small low tables and chairs, serving locals (and few tourists) coffee and tea from giant serving dishes. You'll need a rest from the shopping frenzy. Friendly, fast, service. No english. Coffee (cap), 20TL, tasted awesome, sweet with spiced foam layer, hot and ample size. WCs well marked and signed, located around the place, easy to find, clean (cost 4-5TL), but not the western kind if that matters. Not easy to find, major construction closed roads (even google doesn't know that), lots of road twists and turns. But certainly worth a walk around. Big mosque right behind the market, mostly functional however (it was friday when we were there) so not really a tourist thing.

You can find many handcrafted products in Kemeraltı and Konak, which stand out with their must-see historical and touristic places in Izmir. There are also many cats and dogs that are free on the street here.

It is like local market in city center of Izmir. Just tried chai but my friend and I got our pretty accessories with affordable price than in Istanbul. Forgot to take even just a pic. Too excited to find accessories shop!

This bazaar has everything you need, the mosque inside is nice to visit and you can have typical food.

A small market square that's has some historic significance. The square itself has few shopping options and is more of a spot for cafes and restaurants. You'll find many street seated restaurants in the alleys around this market place. Decent options for seafood but nothing for vegetarians. The coffee lane only sells coffee and literally has no food on the menu.

It is a great place to have Turkish coffee with all the people around you, but be careful during the pandemic though! You can also have many different hot & cold, soft drinks. Also remember taking the stairs and check the mini shops on the second floor. All unique things you can find there is amazing.

Nice, historical, touristic, little bit crowded and certainly "must see" a place in Izmir Turkey.

Worth to visit, fair prices and if you like silver accessories then you will have many options.
