The hotel looks really nice, but that’s not enough to be a differentiator in Dubai. I had a very frustrating experience in my stay as a lay over. The only reason I had selected the hotel was for the private beach access that is advertised when you look into the booking.com app. The ad is quite misleading because: 1. Be aware the hotel is actually very far from the beach , you can’t walk to the beach 2. They purposefully do not include their shuttle times in their website , because they know they are not doing a good job on this. If you want to take advantage of the shuttle , be aware there are only 2 times for pick-up and drop-off. To go: - 10AM - 11:30AM To return: - 2PM - 4:30PM I found this quite frustrating because I would have expected more transparency about this, and that would have led me to a different decision of where to stay since I only have one day here. Although it may not be an issue for everyone, this is supposed to be a 5-star hotel. You are supposed to be the guest here , but they force you to adapt to their poor schedule. I won’t come back for one simple reason: I dislike poor communication and poor guest service. When I talked to the reception, they said it work for 80% of the people, but they just don’t care for the remainder 20% where the schedule does not work. Transparency is key for customer satisfaction.

Customer service and communication excellent. Catered for allergy and dietary requirements extremely well. Wide variety of tasty food for all dietary choices and requirements. Nothing was ever too much for the staff here at the Oaks. Staff extremely friendly and Helpful. Mostafa serving fresh Arabic coffee of a morning was a lovely touch ! Coffee was amazing and his hospitality even more so. We stayed here with our sons 12&14 and our 9 year old daughter. They enjoyed the pool and the hotel. Rooms were very clean especially the bathrooms and beds. Beds really comfortable. We will most certainly return here. Thank you to the staff :)

I recently stayed at this hotel and it was wonderful :-) These are the positive stuff that I experienced::::::: - It is close to a huge mall. The mall is 3min away from the hotel. So nice to have a mall by your hotel. - The rooms have a mini fridge. Which is great and you can have your food and drinks in there. - You get free water everyday. - The staff are all very customer service oriented. If you need anything they will do everything they can to provide this for you or help you out. - The pool at this hotel is actually very big, so that's a plus. - There is a free shuttle bus that will take you to this amazing Riva beach club. It will take you there and pick you up back to the hotel again. - You have the metro near you, so easy to take the metro everywhere. - The hotel is huge, and the aesthetic of the hotel is pretty cool. If you love photography this hotel is for you. - I felt the rooms were soundproof, I did not hear one single noise from anywhere. - The AC in the rooms are controllable, that's great because in some hotels you cant even turn off or on the AC. But here you can control the AC. - The breakfast buffet is excellent, it has everything you need. And the best part is the hours. In some hotels the breakfast ends at 9am etc. Here it ends at 10:30 and 11:30. Which is great. I think it was during the weekends that it ended at 11:30. - The rooms have large windows, so you get sunlight all day and everyday. Very nice. - I love that they provide robes and slippers. - The room that I had, had two bathrooms, that felt super luxurious. - The cleaning is excellent Now to the negative. This is the reason why I gave this 4 stars and not 5. - It is a bit far from the city center. While this hotel has everything you wish, the only negative is that it is far from the city. Besides this, everything else honestly is perfect. I recommend this hotel 100%. A huge thanks to the staff and everyone working at this hotel to make sure the guests all have a wonderful experience at this hotel :-)

I have never ever experienced many perfect soul people I have met in this hotel. What ever I say wont be enough for staff. They are so kind, helpful. They make you feel so good. Food is amazing everyday different concept and make you wonder whats coming next. Room is so comfy and clean. This hotel deserves more than 5 stars. We definitely will back to these lovely people and great management!

From our arrival to our departure we had a great stay at this hotel. The design and theme makes if a beautiful hotel with a real feel of charm and character. The rooms were equally enjoyable with very comfortable beds. The service from all the staff was faultless. We enjoyed the Moroc Lounge even more with the excellent service from Prem and his cocktail specials, he made us feel very welcomed. A great all round stay.

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Oaks Ibn Battuta Hotel and I must say, it was an amazing experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and went out of their way to ensure that our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful, modern decor throughout. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with all the amenities we could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept really well every night. One of the things that really impressed us about the Oaks Ibn Battuta Hotel was the food. The breakfast buffet was a feast for the senses, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from, including both local and international cuisine. We also had dinner at the hotel's restaurant on a couple of occasions and were blown away by the quality of the food and the service. The hotel's location is also fantastic, with easy access to public transportation and a short walk away from Ibn Battuta Mall, one of Dubai's premier shopping destinations. We were able to explore the area and take in some of the local sights and sounds, all while feeling safe and comfortable. Overall, we can't recommend the Oaks Ibn Battuta Hotel highly enough. Honest opinion- rooms r big. Bathrooms r nice. Frontal part of hotel is clean. Large lobby. Poor condition of overall property. Lights on 24/7 aka short circuit can happen. Landscaping at the back of hotel not proper. Too big a property to manage properly. Last day room was not cleaned on time nor cleaned properly when asked. A pizza was lying in the lobby for 1 full day aka no cleaning on time. 24/7 lights on aka electrical hazard waiting to happen. Smooth check in n out. Staff at front desk kind. But overall is 2 big a property so it should be divided into 2 hotels. And wastage of electricity and hazardous building materials laying in the property premices should be better looked at. Instead of glitz why not focus on being a better hotel.

We’ve just came back from a week stay at OAKS and it feels like we left our family behind. People here - from cleaners, amazing bar and restaurant staff to receptionists - made us feel very welcomed. Big thank you to Mr.Kasun and his team! The only issue for them was ‘how’ not ‘if’ they can accommodate our requests and needs. We were treated like celebrities and loved our stay more than we can describe. The hotel is beautiful with lots of charm and character. Room was big (two bathrooms) very clean and comfortable. And the food… omg! I want to take their pastry chef home with us :) If you’re thinking about booking your stay here - DO IT! We’ve been to many, many hotels around the world and this one is simply special!

This is one of the worst stays I've had. Ibn Battuta Oaks Hotel is definitely not a 5-stars hotel. The room is fine but not luminous at all & the lighting is very weak so it's not pleasant to stay in the room to rest or chill in the dark, lacking light. Most importantly, there is NO HOT water. It's not even warm, & the water flow is so slow. So taking a shower is not even pleasant when you're feeling cold!!! We complained to the reception upon our arrival & but nothing was done about it. We even spoke to a manager asking her if she would take her shower cold & her answer was : I take cold showers with irony!! This hotel is definitely not worth it for the price. There is a variety of choice regarding food (breakfast or lunch) but it's industrial quality. Fried eggs taste like rubbers. If you're coming on vacation to enjoy a nice stay & especially a pleasant hotel experience in Dubai, don't stay here.

I fell in love in this place. 🥰 Shout out to the receptionist who was so hospitable. I forgot he’s name he’s tall, dark and handsome for me. Lol! But, thank you Oaks! We had a splendid stay! We were not able to use the free access to the beach because we were just so happy staying in the room. We are probably gonna be back in the next few weeks and have recommended this to our friends!! I mean it’s really nice hotel, cleaner and tidy, great location and amazing people. But guys I have One issue that really bothered me my whole stay, the issue is with the room toilet, why it is squeezed in such an small space that is truly truly bad experience for the second one (you know what I mean), I mean why?? You have a good space bathroom and a tiny squeezed toilet that you cannot get comfortable sitting on it! I would really like to talk to the engineer who designed that, and take him to see and feel the experience with this tiny uncomfortable squeezed toilet

True Gem In Dubai 😍😍😍😍😍😍 I recently had the pleasure of staying at Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Dubai for a fantastic six nights, and I must say that this hotel exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful and courteous, making us feel welcome and valued. Our room was not only spacious but also immaculate, which added a touch of luxury to our stay. The attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness was truly commendable. The only minor downside of our stay was the evening meal, as we felt that there could have been a bit more variety in the menu. However, it's important to note that the quality of the food was exceptional, which partially made up for the limited options. One of the highlights of this hotel was the 8th-floor pool area, which provided a delightful combination of fun and relaxation. The pool area also offered a stunning view of Dubai, making it the perfect spot to unwind and take in the city's beauty. In terms of location, Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Dubai was in an ideal position. Had a lovely breakfast at Mistral Restaurant. Food was excellent and the the sever Taniya was so nice and kind I had to write this review for that. She gave a nice service and had overlooked us as a friend. Me and my friends were so happy. We would like to visit again for the great food and great friendly service. This hotel was amazing, the level of service was 100%, the decor sublime. The only downside was that it’s quite far from everything (palm beaches/Dubai marina/Dubai mall) around 20 minutes drive. Ubers are cheap but it does add up if you’re using them daily. The day out to Riva Beach Club (private beach) was brilliant!

I've never seen such a magnificent hotel in my life! The staff's are really friendly, and they treat you like family! The food and drinks are an absolute delish, the aura of each room that makes you feel like at home is just amazing and the quietness of each hall that can make you relax in each minute while walking. Everything is just perfect when you stay here!

Excellent hotel! The staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful, especially Rizwan and Ali... The rooms are clean, equipped with mini fridge, and great AC. The hotel is real close to a mall that has a supermarket that offers everything you need in case you forget something. The train and bus service are also located  about a 5 minute walk away. The hotel offers a rooftop pool and shuttle bus to the beach, although it only runs twice daily ( I wish the shuttle would run at least on an hourly  basis). Overall I'm glad that I stayed here and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Oaks claims to be a 5 star hotel, but they should be re-registered as a 3 star hotel. I would say there are better options nearby. It started from the reception till the final check-out. Generally none of the staff will be helpful, usually just trying to get rid of you with some random answer. And cherry on the top is the housekeeping, because if you request them something then you can have a nap for an hour or 2 but still they'll not deliver it. I can understand the number of guests but that is the case with Dubai, a lot of guests. So whether they're under-staffed or they don't care at all.

The hotel has a very good price-performance ratio. However, the best thing about the hotel is the staff. Mr. Prem from the maroc bar is the best bartender in the hotel, he will always put a smile on your face with his great cocktails. From the front desk, I highly recommend asking Mr. Saw if you have any problems or have any questions. He will always help you. I was very satisfied and would go there again at any time.

Fantastic 5-star experience at Oaks Ibn Battuta Hotel. Luxurious and perfectly located with a fabulous mix of restaurants. The staff and management are wonderful, creating a very relaxing time for us. The standards of housekeeping are exceptionally high, and I must mention Ravinder from the housekeeping department who provided great service for us. The overall standards throughout the hotel are impressive. We really like our time here! The staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient, as well as very courteous and professional. You can see their hard work in their smiles and polite manner. It's really impressive and reflects well on the management team. This commitment shows they have excellent training, enthusiasm for their roles, and a genuine desire to ensure guests are happy all the time. They always make an extra effort! Highly recommend.

Great hotel will amazing staff that are smiling and happy to help. Whenever I had a query they would answer and also gave us a later checkout option for free. Rooms were always clean and so was the pool. Breakfast was amazing would recommend. The bar was also really good and a wide range of Shisha offerings and prices were not bad. Recommend.

I fell in love with this hotel years ago because of how beautiful it is and due to the pandemic every thing changed. We finally had the opportunity to travel here. The staff was wonderful to work with in order to get our transportation setup for late arrival from the airport. Upon arrival and finally clearing all of the checkpoints; the driver assistant was waiting for us as we were walking out. We made it safely to the hotel where, we were warmly greeted by the manager, Eslam. He's the absolute best. He was extremely nice, friendly, informative and extremely generous. He found out we were there to celebrate our anniversary and he setup a surprise for us. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and our room was spacious and clean with a beautiful city view. We had plenty of hot water for our showers and the rooms were cared for daily. Everyone on staff that we met are nice, friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing that was served by room service I would highly recommend coming here. The atmosphere and great people are too wonderful to pass up. We will be back to stay here. Oaks Hotel lies opposite to Ibn Batutta mall which is nice. Rooms are good but the lighting effect doesn't give you a lively feel. Breakfast is a buffet type and has many options. One can choose from the wide variety of food as per his/her liking

Very big hotel facing a big Mall and 20 minutes away from Expo 2020. Very very friendly teams. Rooms and AC are fine. Water in the shower would gain getting warmer. In my room windows were locked although I would have liked to get fresh air and fresh smell in the room. Breakfast is ok as long as you don't get there after 10 AM

We stayed for 2 weeks and experienced amazing customer service and every member of staff here was curious, friendly and helpful. The location is ideal for popping to the IBN mall and transport links. Overall the food was really nice and variety day to day was good. Would certainly recommend this place to friends and family

Grand (old) hotel. Nice lobby and rooms. Could use a renovation. Shower experience is not great. Breakfast buffet is ok but lack certain basics. Gym is sufficient to get a workout in but too small if you are staying for a longer period.

I really don’t advice anyone to stay in this hotel. Although it shows as 5 star, it is even less than a 2 star hotel! Unfortunately, I had to stay in it because my work was across the street and this was the most convenient location. 1. When I arrived, the company had booked my stay and despite that they told me and insisted that I pay, I went to withdraw cash so as not to pay the full amount as advised by the receptionist and my DEBIT CARD WAS CAPTURED BY THE MACHINE! Later I came to know there were technical errors with the machine and it was not the first time. Imagine that I had to stay for a whole week without any money, except that I have added it on my Apple Pay which saved my life. 2. The room stunk all day, the moment I entered it smelled very bad but I didn’t have the energy to change it because it had been late at night already. The cleaning is very poor, I came in my room after the first day and found trash from the cleaners. 3. The elevator smells bad all the time. The breakfast is fine not many variety. 4. Now the most disappointing thing was that upon checkout they refused to give me the bill and they said we have emailed it to the company because they have booked it! And this was the Deputy Manager who was supposed to solve the problem! I screamed literally and I said I paid it from my card! He mentioned that they have issued a refund! However, they did not even inform me of that. I literally yelled to receive the bill. I was very close to calling the police. Really bad experience and I will need to search for another hotel next time because my work is right across the street and I don’t want to repeat this ugly exp again!

Loved the family-themed Saturday brunch @oaksibnbattuta 🥰 It includes a variety of stations serving different cuisines, Live music and the best part was the access to Kids club, Play station and the bouncy castle for kids 💕 The property is elegant with a traditional style decor. The staffs were pretty friendly too. Definitely worth the visit.

Very good rooms and location, food is OK but could have been much better if some care about quality of cooking. Staff are friendly, and smoothly accepted my late checkout request. Room service comes late and 2 days (out of 12 nights) they didn't fix the room. Overall good experience and convenience as close to Ibn Battuta Mall, with a little walk to Mero Station.

The hotel provided excellent service while we held our training sessions in one of their conference rooms. The support in terms of the set up as well as the professionalism of the staff was superb. The food catered during the breaks as well as lunch had a good a variety and was cooked deliciously. Appreciated the fact that they had live stations for pasta and grilled meats. A special shout out to the conference room team: Jeewaka, Ashish, and Romel for assisting in all our needs.

The staff has been extremely attentive and offered excellent customer service. The hotel is also very beautiful. Rooms were super clean. We didn't get a great view from our room which was a little disappointing but overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

When you visit a hotel for the first time you have to rely on your surroundings to get an impression of your environment. For us these surroundings were mostly the people working there which we were beyond happy about. Especially Godwill from the reception showed us what truly responsible, secure and very trustworthy customer service looked like. And for that reason we will be choosing the oaks again. ;)

It's disheartening to witness a stunning and beautiful building with no care taken for its maintenance and hygiene. The rooms were dusty and unclean, making it uncomfortable to stay in. Even after requesting a change, the situation remained the same. Upon arrival, there was no assistance with luggage, and the reception didn't offer any help either. The pool was decent, fortunately open till late at night 2AM. The breakfast was excellent, thanks to a skilled and helpful chef named Carlos. Overall, the hotel has the potential to be amazing if the management prioritizes hygiene and cleanliness

We spend our weekend in this hotel. We liked this place very much. Breakfast is delicious and a lot choices. Pool is big and clean. All staff are friendly and welcoming. My kids love kids club so much. Thanks you so much Merlin and Delia. They are so kind and friendly. They know how to deal with all kids. They have crafting, kind of activities, lot of toys to play.
