Good morning Bad experience when I booked this place. I have booked 2 chalets and it was agreed directly with the manager that each chalet has breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately, when we came to the place at 2:00 in the afternoon to make the entry procedures, the employees are from Kazakhstan, as a rule that checks the children's identities and increases their ages until dinner is canceled on the basis that the child has exceeded the permissible age and is considered an adult, although there are months left until he is an adult. Also, the manager, Hazrat, was very provocative, and we were late at the counter for 55 minutes, and their manner was provocative. Finally, they asked us to increase the price by an imaginary amount or to cancel the dinner. Because they want it, and the dinner meal was canceled and we were delayed in receiving the keys in a very provocative manner for customers. We contacted the reservations manager, but to no avail. And when we received the keys to the chalets. We saw moldy rice in the sofa that had not been cleaned for days. And it was delivered to us. Question: Where is the oversight department of the Dubai Health Authority? I will contact the specialists for this. In frankness, they have no credibility with customers. Very very bad experience.

This is one of the best Resorts You may choose to stay in a friendly, very calm, extremely lovely and safe in around Dubai. It is extremely classy and yet not so fancy and modern. The staff are very professional, cleaning is superb and the environment is very lovely. I had a very great experience staying there several years ago. There are two outside swimming pools, one of them is just in front of the main building. The other is closer to the sea and is designed in the way you feel like being in the sea. watching the horizon during the sunset would be a great experience. Also, you could go to the exclusive beach and swim anytime safely. There are also other facilities for children, sport and golf yards and other things.

This family-friendly resort feels a world away from the hubbub of Dubai, yet it’s just 20 minutes’ drive to malls and theme parks. Still, with private beach, pools and activities galore, it’s better suited to a seaside break than a base for exploring the city. The beachfront resort is located at the southern end of the emirate in the same grounds as the more upmarket JA Palm Tree Court. Dubai International Airport is 40 minutes by taxi, while it’s 20 minutes to Dubai Marina and 15 minutes to the new Dubai Parks and Resorts theme parks. Jebel Ali Port is visible in the far distance and the resort overlooks the unfinished Palm Jebel Ali project (which fell foul of the 2008 financial crisis). It’s not really an issue though, as the beach is gorgeous and the setting wonderfully tranquil.

We had such a lovely enjoyable time here. Everything was superb! Rooms specious, kids enjoyed kids club and splash park very much, food excelent. We stayed in the Lake view and it was peaceful even in the evening while at the beach front there was loud music. Still we were short ride away from the beach. I must comment on staff as well, as they were super friendly and so helpful (like Lakmal at the pool bar). We will definitely come back.

I would like to express that the staff at this hotel was extraordinary during our stay. Whatever issue came up, the employees were helpful and dedicated to find a suitable solution. The food/ buffet was great as well. Freshly made and many different choices are available. The gym isn’t the biggest one, but has all the equipment necessary. Additionally, the other activities available are plenty and exciting as well. Snorkeling at the beautiful beach, playing golf, tennis, pool, or table tennis, or relaxing at one of the pools. Highly recommend this resort if you want to be a few kilometers away from the typical places and activities in Dubai. So, you can drive to downtown, or other locations by a taxi which the, I just can mention it again, incredible helpful staff will have organized.

The rooms were not cleaned. The pools are not cleaned as well. No service around the pool like cold water or wet towels for the parents who are watching their children. I keep calling the reception to open the door between the rooms and it took 5 hours to do that. It was very noisy we couldn’t sleep. The rooms had no privacy you can hear everything. It’s not as we expected from 5 stars hotel. The pillows and the beds like you are 4 or 3 stars hotel. There is nothing i can recommend the hotel for. Except the kids were enjoying the splash area

My second JA hotel, now in Dubai and this is definitely a favourite now. The service of the staff, the quality of the hotel and there is so much to explore, many restaurants and the food, Masha Allah very delicious. Highly recommend. Will miss the smiles of the friendly staff

OLD Hotel and SLOW Service I am very surprised that this hotel has high reviews. The hotel is 42yrs old! The rooms despite being updated still have the age showing. The facilities are also old. There’s constant noise from the generators they use for electricity. Rooms are tiny. Our room phone was broken and never got resolved despite multiple complains and follow ups. The breakfast service was so slow! To order drinks itd take you a wait time of 10-30 mins. The staff seemed harrowed and overworked. For a 5 star hotel we expected more. Gone are the glory days of JA as I remember it from childhood. I wont be ever staying here again especially for the price point, there are a lot of other better hotels in Dubai!

It’s Been A Great Experience Spending The Vacation In Dubai, And JA Hotel/Resorts Made The Experience Even Better. I Loved Every Single Bit Of My Stay Here : Food Is Top Notch, Interior Of The Rooms Are Good And The Views It Gives Is Spectacular As Well. I Love The Beach And The Pools Around. The Wi-Fi Connection Is Strong And I’d Love Everybody To Come Have A Feel Of What Is Meant By Home Away From Home

I invited my family to spend two days in this resort, I decided to try it because it is five stars and a hotel that appears to be classy. I regretted a lot. The service was very bad. I asked them for water to drink or any other request. I sat for more than 4 hours waiting to receive my order, the employee told me we are facing Shortage of water now! The cleaning of the rooms was also bad. I asked the receptionist to send me room service because something spilled from me on the floor. I waited until the next day and no one came, we left the hotel early because we were really disappointed! will never go back again

It’s not a worthy stay, we had a bad experience in the JA Beach hotel when we forgot a jacket in the restaurant and didn’t find it the second morning and they promised to investigate and check the cameras but without any response. Even when I called them again the duty manager wasn’t informed and he promised to start checking again?!?!? Food is very normal, our package was half board but surprisingly it wasn’t covering the drinks?!? What a jock!! Whoever you ask for anything in the restaurant they keep ignoring and you need to ask everyone and many times to get a cup of tea or coffee!?!? Even the room service we called many times for a help. The beach is so dirty and you can’t swim in it. The pools are small for the size of the hotel and couldn’t handle the number of people at that stay, some pools where only for some rooms or type or reservations and we were obliged to use only 2 pools where you can’t find a spot to swim or a chair to sit. I don’t recommend it for anyone. Not trained team and not professional service compared to the price.

Amazing resort with so much to see and do! We stayed at the Beach hotel which I think is the best for all the amenities. The resort room was very large with a lovely balcony overlooking the marina and golf course. The staff are just unreal! They offer the best service I have ever seen at a hotel. Karim checked us in and made the process very smooth and easy. Kimani thanks as the most amazing concierge and did so much to make it an amazing stay. Kush and Hassan were also fantastic on the bar and made us feel so welcomed, making cocktails to our taste! The pools are fantastic but I would recommend the beach fronted pool as it was a little warmer and great views. The sports bar was good fun with nice views of the pool. We booked in to eat at Sette l, White orchid and would recommend both.

I stayed in the hotel with my mom and twin teenage girls. We all had a fantastic time throughout our stay. The staffs were friendly, polite and helpful. Seeing members of the team that looks like us made us feel welcome and at home. Shout out, especially to Gabriel, he made sure we had a tour of the resort.

    1. The air condition could not be adjusted and was freezing so we had to switch it off but then it room was too hot. 2. Our children couldn’t sleep as the crib came without pillow, blanked and the surface was hard solid 3. Kids club for toddlers is chargeable never did I hear of other hotels with same policy. 4. A party was playing loud music near by until 12:00 PM, so much for a peaceful resort. Got zero sleep and have not yet tried the pool, hopefully it will be less disappointing than the room.

I spent 16 nights at the beach view . was delayed for about 2 or more hours unnecessarily at the reception because the receptionist couldn't confirm my booking which was done 24hrs earlier on arrival . However once I settled in it was a very great experience. Serene environment, nice pool, nice food (but was repeated too many times)shuttle services good, great staff, even though some few mix up here and there but that's OK since its a human environment and this things surely play out. big ups to Gabriel ( the consiege ) he helped me feel even more at home, sometimes during his off days will take me to town and show me around. I'll definitely come back next year God willing. It will be good too if hotel management will consider hiring someone to be assisting in swimming lessons lol. 👌👌👌👌👌

In all of my years in Dubai, and in UAE generally, this is the first time I have had to feel bad spending way too much money for a 2 nights stay in a hotel.i Booked the two-connecting sea view family room for my sister’s birthday to relax and celebrate with family. Didn’t receive any confirmation email after booking. As we are 6 adults + 1 kid, I was concerned that I may have under booked as the confirmation screen shot only mentions 3 adults + 1 child. In good faith I called customer service morning of our check-in to confirm the number of people in my booking and told customer service I will book another room if I had indeed got it wrong. Person confirmed it’s all okay and that it is for 6 adults and 1 kid. But to my surprise check in desk said it is only for 3 adults and 1 infant! And so we were told we need to book two more rooms for the 3 extra adults! And to make matters worst, apparently the kid in our group is already considered adult as he is already 12 years old (he doesn’t turn 12 until end May!). I asked them to listen to the call recording, they haven’t come back to me on this. In all the chaotic discussions and looking for solutions, we ended up being squashed in the room we originally booked, paid additional 3k+ for the two extra beds. And the most unacceptable part, the hotel manager didn’t even bother to come out and speak to us. Not a face in all this! He must be thinking we are not worth his audience and our money didn’t matter to the hotel’s business/income. I am very much interested to know if this manager will ever reach out after this review. Worst customer service ever!

18 may 2023 …😍I had the most amazing time ever !! Once the boat was out of the harbour, it was amazingly fast! Fantastic value for money - boat stopped at all of the above locations and gave us plenty of photo opportunities. Lots of spins as well for the extra thrill :)) Also great information about each of the locations ! I would highly recommend this experience - one of my highlights ! @shanavas thank you 😊

We stayed as a couple very nice break for two nights. Amazing breakfast and good quality rooms. Pool and beach are well maintained and overall 9/10.

Overall it was very nice, we had to cut our trip short as our little one had to go to the hospital, but the hotel was a very pleasant experience. The staff was super nice. Things to improve: slightly faster service at the restaurant not making it too complicated where you can order from (does it matter it I order a Carlsberg from the pool bar to the left or the right???) the rooms are a bit small for the rate.

The place is amazing, and there are a lot of things to see and do. The food is amazing if you manage to book a table. In the tapas bar, the staff was super nice and helpful. The breakfast was amazing too, the staff made sure we had everything. However here is few things that need improvement: -no guide in the resort -The receptionist expected us to know everything -tried to book a bus to the city, we been told that all fully booked. We ended up ordering a taxi on our own money(we spent there 2 nights, which is not enough to book things in advance) -In our room, we found an empty cadbury chocholate paper on the table. (Picture attached) - in the sports bar, they first ignored us , and they forgot to give us cuttlery. When I went to ask, the male waiter told me: go outside and wait, we will bring it to you.

Not worth the money we spent. Took us 2 and 1/2 hours to check in due to wrong information from the website. We verified the info from their agent regarding our booking before coming but turned out we were given the wrong information. We had no choice, we cannot cancel as it is too late and we will just lose our money. So we had to squeeze ourselves in a small connecting room and pay additional AED 3000+++. Had we been given the correct information beforehand, we would have cancelled as it is not worth it. This is the most uncomfortable stay we had in a hotel! They call themselves a 5 star hotel yet not a single welcome drink to compensate all the waiting. We have been to several 5 star hotels in UAE and only here have we experienced such a treatment. Average food. Buffet spread too little. Towels are old. Dusty room. We stayed two nights but decided to check out early as it is not worth it. Not coming back!

horrible treatment at the beach bar, so called manager walked very close to me threatening because i wanted to give water for the cat inside the bar, whatever they offer it is not worth to stay. Pool is not clean and food quality is bad.

Stayed here twice in 2004 and 2005 and while I’m sure much has changed since then I can say that my wife and I loved everything about this Hotel. It’s a little further out of Dubai then most hotels but the seclusion is to be much welcomed in bustling Dubai. Food, accommodation, facilities and staff were all deserving of the 5 star accreditation.

I just wanted to share my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel . I On the 9th of August, I booked four rooms and received a call while we were en route to confirm our arrival time. However, upon reaching the hotel, we were given only two rooms at 3:30 PM while the other two rooms were delayed. This caused a bit of inconvenience for our group. Furthermore, the kids pool area was extremely crowded, limiting our enjoyment. To add to our disappointment, we received notifications at night informing us that there would be an electricity shutdown from 2 AM to 3 AM, without any compensation offered. I believe it's important to bring these issues to your attention, as we had high expectations for our stay. I hope that you can address these concerns and improve the overall experience for future guests.

Used the pool and waterpark for a day. The facility is good but needs a decent amount of work. There’s a single life guard sitting on the side, not even on an elevated chair. Self service for towels and ordering food & drinks, which is not a problem at all, but different from all other hotels’ services. Floats are not permitted in the pool was is disappointing. The small water park was good though and the kids really enjoyed it

Amazing Stay at JA Beach Hotel (JA The Resort) during UAE National Holidays I had the pleasure of staying at JA Beach Hotel (JA The Resort) with my family during the UAE national holidays, from 1st Dec to 3rd Dec 2022. The experience was nothing short of amazing, and I wanted to share my thoughts on this wonderful resort. First and foremost, the location of JA Beach Hotel is excellent. Situated in a beautiful beachside setting, it offers breathtaking views and easy access to the beach. We enjoyed long walks along the pristine shoreline and marveled at the stunning sunsets. The resort's setting truly made our stay memorable. The staff at JA Beach Hotel were exceptional. From the warm and friendly welcome upon arrival to the efficient and attentive service throughout our stay, their professionalism and hospitality were second to none. The facilities at the resort were outstanding. The rooms were spacious, modern, and clean, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploration. Our children loved the pool area, which had a variety of pools suitable for all ages. There were also numerous activities available, such as water sports, tennis, and a kids' club, which kept everyone entertained throughout our stay. The dining options at JA Beach Hotel were superb. The resort offered a wide range of restaurants, each offering delicious cuisine from around the world. From the sumptuous buffet breakfast to the unforgettable dinners, we were spoilt for choice. The quality of the food, combined with the exceptional service, made each meal a delightful experience. Overall, our stay at JA Beach Hotel (JA The Resort) was unforgettable. The combination of picturesque location, attentive staff, top-notch facilities, and delectable dining options made it a perfect choice for our family getaway during the UAE national holidays. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable vacation. Thank you, JA Beach Hotel, for an exceptional experience. Though i am writing my review late after 8 months of my visit but we look forward to visiting again in the near future!

Looking for relaxation … JA Beach Hotel is an amazing place . You have access to an open Sea along with many pools (7) and more to come . Staff very friendly . I would take this opportunity to say thank you to Mr Fathy from the Pool Bar “ Captain “ who care of our needs and make our stay very comfortable. Thank you to the management who send us a surprise cake to our room as we were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary . Thank you to the Restaurant Tortilla ( Spanish cuisine), nice dishes and also they offer us a cake complimentary. The Hotel provide shuttle to go to the other “ sister” Hotel like JA Lake view if you wanna discover other areas. There are pools for children and special place for them to play . As well you find lots of water sport . Trully recommended to try .

It'd in a quite place far from city centre; exactly what I was looking for a stay cation Place is well maintained and we had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend. The best thing is that they had more pool than I can count of and kids just loved it. Definitely we'll visit again ☺️

This is our second time. Not so good for 1 night stay. Very disappionted and so sad. WHY? Chek in 3PM and check out 12pm, worst is all activities opens at 10am. We are not allowed to check out late as today is friday. 10am-11:30am of activities is NO WAY FUN! Some activities timings 10am-1pm. We had some issue with our dinner last night but it was fine, just small issue. Thanks for all the staff who helped us. They should change the tkmings or consider late check outs and early check ins. Place was nice but rules or timings are not friendly.

Unable to book kids in kids club without booking prior day. Told buffet breakfast was open until midday on weekends and then told on arrival we couldn’t have buffet breakfast as it closes at 11am. Sports Cafe had the worst food and coffee ever experienced in Dubai.

I spent a night there with my family. The atmosphere was wonderful, and there were plenty of enjoyable activities for the kids. During my stay, it seemed there was some sort of event finale causing a bit of congestion in the area, but overall, it was a delightful experience.

A great hotel for our family holiday. Great for families with children. The food was also good at all the restaurants. What drags the rating down is the following: - Unclear what is included in all inclusive, first we received a paper on what was included, a few days later we were informed that it was the wrong paper and that it did not apply to us at all as we had a charter booking. - The room key cards are of an old model with a magnetic strip that is demagnetized all the time. The reception staff said that sometimes they can be demagnetized by the heat, which I think is funny as it is quite hot in Duabi, maybe time to change the system that works better?

Lovely place, lovely people and great service. A lot of dining options and also sports from beach volleyball and football to horse riding, tennis academy and to a 9 hole golf course and practice area Cons - on the golf course the water is a bit smelly due to heat

Great property, good rooms. Location is in the middle of nowhere, so not ideal to go around. No real delivery options, but the food at the hotel is great (not too many options though), the service was excellent - especially Geeta and Aloke.

My friends and my husband were guests at the tennis courts, training for Australia Open. We went to the JA hotel thru the main entrance to have a look and deside maybe to stay in your hotel. Then we say 2 security guys on the buggy car and they were so rude and disrespectful to us. We couldn’t be able even to take a look at the hotel. I would never came again and never recommend it to anybody. We have been there on 27 of December. So speak and abucate your stuff. Just terrible

As a newly wed couple, we really enjoyed our stay at JA Beach resort since it has everything and you can feel that you are connected with nature as there are a lot of trees and you can hear the chirping of the birds around. But, one thing I dislike was that I expected something from the hotel since I informed that we are a newly wed and we are staying for our honeymoon. But one of the reception staff said that they dont have complimentary for couples. Anyways, our stay was great and We will definitely go back.

We stayed in January and was really lovely stay, everyone was very friendly at the resort. The resort itself was really good and lots of restaurants and pools. The all inclusive package was really good and the food was delicious such as captain’s restaurant right on the beach!

The service is 10/10, the room with balcony ( double room sea view) is so comfortable and quiet. If you choose half board you can decide whether you want dinner or lunch every day. And you can try all of the restaurants in the resort within the package.

This is a fantastic resort. Everything was clean and very well kept. The pool areas were lovely and all the restaurants were amazing as were all the staff, the only dissapointing thing was the room. We have stayed in 5 different 5* hotels in Dubai and this is definitely not a 5* room! It was so small, the balcony only just big enough to fit 2 tiny chairs on, no iron in the room as standard and the bathroom was tiny with the shower in the bath and no separate hose from the taps to wash your hair in the bath! My bathroom at home is better! The walls of the room are paper thin and we could here the couple next door fighting then making up everynight!! The villas at the palm tree court looked alot nicer and we wish we had booked one of these insted. I would return as the resort is perfect and the staff and food the best but i wouldn't be booking back into the beach hotel!...

Update: Met by the manager the following morning who apologised and promised to report the telephone and system issues to senior JA Resort management. So upgrading the rating to reflect the service recovery..................... Telephone system not working, so you can't call concierge or room service, operator or reception from your room. Room service menu not working well, so I had to place 2 orders from one menu. Very strange. One order arrived. Other did not. Hotel claimed a system error. Believable, but hugely frustrating when phones not working. Ended up going to sleep without eating. Good for my waistline, but not my mood. Manager arrived at my room late to ask me to accept the food but had already gone to bed. Too little, too late. This is added to nearly being overcharged by AED1000 at checkin. Only prevented by me checking and then double checking the proposed charge. On a positive note we had booked a nonchangeable room rate and had obtained agreement to change, for a fee. That was positive, from the chain. But the hotel itself is a bit of a disaster compared to othe Dubai hotels.

Excellent hotel. Very nice and helpful staff. Buffet breakfast was excellent but dinner was not exciting. Luckily we were on all inclusive which included many good and interesting dining options such as Italian andThai/Chinese which were excellent. Would not like to be stuck with buffet dinner only. Worth a thought.

Me and my girlfriend were around JA Beach Hotel, it is a huge complex with a total of 3 hotels. The range of activities is really extensive and I have never seen so in other hotels. The staff are really nice and helped immediately with questions or problems! Big praise to the staff at the reception and the buggy drivers. Always gladly again!

The places is awesome. It's like jungle in the middle of desert. Room viewing will be for the jungle or to the Sea view Both of them are nice . The only problem for this hotel that if you choose to stay here everythings are really far . Whe U to decide to go there make your plan to not leaving the hotel Take the hotel is a option to escape from city and crowded.

I had been there to have lunch. I opted for their buffet. While the spread was decent the taste was not so good. If you are looking for any indian or vegetarian option in the spread it is not there. Further, the restaurant s AC was not working as expected and it was hot and sultry. Will not go again to have lunch.

We came early but stayed too long in the reception as the reservation gave us wrong information about the promo code. They told us that there is a shisha bar and many facilities and activities.. To our surprise even the beach was very far away from the lake view hotel and no activities were in the place... We had to take the buggy car for more than 10 minutes to the palm tree court hotel to reach the beach and the rest of the facilities. No sauna no entertainments... It doesn't deserve the high price we paid for it.

Clean and modern hotel, friendly service but too far away if you want to see Dubai. Good if not and just want to relax. Not what I would call 5 star though.

It is a superior hotel with an amazing facilities for all the family members, The staff are helpful and welcomeing, I highly recommend this hotel for a long holiday or a short staycation. The receptionist Mohamed was very helpful and extremely polite, he professionally managed our reservation to ensure that we will be happy and satisfied during our stay in addition to the view and the room location. Thanks 😊

Amazing view with a nice balcony. 2 minutes walk to a private beach, plenty of outdoor activities that can be arranged from hotel from morning horse riding, archery, golf, indoor shooting, and/or walking outdoor in the beautiful scenery. Plenty of great restaurants to choose from. The staffs are all very friendly and attention to details. Rooms are extremely cleaned, plenty of space, and a good atmosphere. Great place to stay either for the weekend away from the city, for a staycation, or a special occasion to celebrate an anniversary. Worth the money; you get what you’ve paid for. Really enjoyed the stay with JA Beach Resort.

This is a wonderful resort. If you want to visit dubai but feel like you are away from the craziness Dubai can bring this is the place. What really makes this resort is the staff. They genuinely love what they do. Its not forced and they are happy to make sure your stay is perfect. The bell boys to cleaning staff are some of the best I’ve dealt with. Horse riding was amazing for my daughter and again staff are so happy to help. Would I stay here again ? In a Heartbeat !

Had a wonderful stay with exceptional staff and service for which I would gladly have given 5 stars. Unfortunately on Saturday evenings they have a night club at the marina with way too loud music until 2am, totally unacceptable for a family resort and no mention of it when booking or at any other point during our stay. Would highly recommend staying here any night but saturdays.

The hotel is ok but it's an hour taxi ride to go to any of the sites. There is absolutely nothing in the immediate area of the resort. It's an hour from downtown in an area that isn't built up yet. The palm island is just piles of sand still. The hotel flies the Russian flag out front...which is weird. Most of the guests are Russians and it feels out of place to be there if you're not Russian. The White Orchid restaurant is well reviewed but the actual experience was not great. The sweet and sour chicken dish, for example, looked and tasted like a microwavable meal. Definably not to Dubai standards. The staff give you a bar code to scan to leave a 5* review for them while you're at the table with the server which explains their high rating. It was just a very basic hotel experience. Nothing special at all and a really inconvenient location. The hotel might be suited to Russian families with children that don't plan on leaving the hotel grounds. Business travelers and tourists from other areas might do better at another location.
