This
is
the
worst
service
I
have
experienced
in
a
hotel
in
quite
some
time.
I've
stayed
at
Choice
Hotels
for
approximately
100
days
in
the
past
year,
maybe
more.
I
booked
a
room
for
3
nights
with
points
for
my
dive
trip
to
Jacksonville.
On
the
first
morning,
05/13/2023,
in
the
hotel
had
a
dental
emergency
arise
(abcess
tooth)
that
would
require
me
to
cut
my
trip
short
by
1
day.
I
went
to
the
front
desk
at
10:30
on
my
first
morning
(05/13/2022)
and
asked
if
it
would
be
possible
to
take
the
last
night
off
the
reservation
and
get
refunded
the
points
to
my
Choice
Privileges
account.
I
went
at
this
time
to
ensure
it
was
over
24
hours
before
the
last
night
of
the
reservation
and
to
ensure
they
had
ample
notice,
just
in
case
they
could
have
used
the
room
for
another
reservation.
The
person
front
desk
told
me
that
I
must
call
Choice
privileges.
When
I
called
choice
privileges
they
said
I
must
have
the
manager
approve
the
refund
so
I
went
back
to
the
front
desk
that
evening
to
talk
to
them
again.
At
this
point
it
was
a
different
person
at
the
front
desk
and
she
told
me
I
would
have
to
wait
until
the
next
morning
to
take
care
of
it.
The
next
morning
on
05/14/2022
at
10:45,
when
i
went
to
check
out,
I
talked
with
the
same
fellow
as
the
pervious
morning
and
he
assured
me
the
manager
would
approve
of
the
refund
and
that
he
would
call
me
back
within
a
couple
hours.
He
never
called
me
back
so
I
called
the
hotel
back
at
04:11
pm
and
spoke
with
a
different
person.
She
said
that
I
had
not
been
checked
out
of
the
room
that
morning.
She
also
said
that
she
would
call
the
manager
and
call
me
back
within
a
few
minutes.
After
2
hours
of
waiting
I
decided
to
call
Choice
Privileges
again
and
inquire
about
the
points
refund.
Choice
Privileges
then
told
me
that
manager
did
not
approve
the
refund.
I
travel
all
over
and
stay
at
Choice
hotels
quite
a
bit.
I've
stayed
at
them
for
approximately
100
in
the
past
year,
maybe
more.
I
haven't
had
an
experience
with
customer
service
this
bad
at
any
of
the
other
stays.
Also,
it's
not
like
I
asked
for
a
cash
refund.
It
was
for
points
and
it
was
due
to
a
dental
emergency
that
was
out
of
my
control.
I
feel
that
I
should
have
at
least
got
a
partial
refund
for
the
points
because
I
gave
over
24
hours
notice
that
I
had
to
leave.
I
also
believe
that
I
should
have
received
better
service.
None
of
the
front
desk
staff
were
of
any
help
and
the
manager
clearly
did
not
care
about
the
situation.
If
the
manager
had
cared
they
would
have
spoken
with
me
at
some
point
during
this
issue.
Do
not
stay
here
if
you
expect
hospitality
or
any
type
of
help
from
the
staff.
