This place needs to be SHUT DOWN. The room was disgusting (hair on the floor fisces on the sheets, shower was dirty like a dirty person just took a shower) when I asked for the room to be cleaned, I was told that I had to stay for three nights! That is unheard of since housekeeping is a job that happens everyday and the concierge had no concern about my issues at all she was the most nonchalant person in the world. I was told there was nothing they could do about it that I had to talk to a general manager. That’s a little high up the food chain for a in house problem. I will never patronize this establishment again.

I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy! Avoid this hotel! The Management and Staff need to be retrained. Stayed 4/8/2023, paid online, checked in, accessed room with the key provided and settled in. That’s where the positive experience stopped. Staff woke our family up at 3:30 AM by knocking on our door and calling us to say that we did not check in. Why? Why? You had my payment and you provided me the key, what else did I need to do? Evening clerk apparently did not do her job and Night clerk then thought it was a good idea to knock on the door. Why? Why? We were up, so we left and requested compensation. Night clerk said we would have to call the manager in the morning. Call back only to be told, I would have to call during the week. Then when I asked for the manager name, clerk refused to give it and when I asked for their name they hung up on me. Called corp office, which was very helpful, but never received a response from the hotel manager as expected after filing a formally “Operational Complaint”.

The people at the front desk were friendly upon check in and check out. The pull out couch was broken in the room so we couldn’t use that. The room was clean but the couch was outdated. My biggest complaint was the breakfast. Not very good options to eat and no juice in the juice machine. Would have been 4 or 5 stars if the breakfast was better. Both mornings we are at the Waffle House down the road and also the Wataburger a few miles away.

I wish I could give this location 0 stars. Staff was ok, nothing too special, but also not the worst. However, the rooms WERE the worst! Our first room smelled like mildew and we quickly realized it was because there was mold ALL OVER THE WALLS!!! Not only that, but the carpet was sopping wet and gross. Our second room smelled heavily of smoke and urine. We quickly realized that was a large wet spot on the ground which is where the urine smell was coming from. It doesn't take a forensic scientist to figure what happened there! Gross!!!!!! Our third and final room was bearable, to say the least, but it was still not very clean. 0/10, 0/5, 0/1,000,000! Steer clear of this hotel!

Stayed in a King Suite on 3/12/22. Hotel room had a broken lock on the door so anytime we wanted to leave the room we had to be escorted back up so the attendant could unlock it for us. The bathroom had severe water damage when we checked it, most of the bathroom door was rotted away. The female attendant overnight had a friend come visit her and throughout the entire night was woke up by the pounding radio from her friends vehicle parked at the front entrance. The hotel charged me a $75 damage deposit when we checked in, 2 weeks later is has not been refunded and all phone numbers to this hotel say they are not in service when trying to contact them about it. So i am forced to do a charge back.

This is the worst service I have experienced in a hotel in quite some time. I've stayed at Choice Hotels for approximately 100 days in the past year, maybe more. I booked a room for 3 nights with points for my dive trip to Jacksonville. On the first morning, 05/13/2023, in the hotel had a dental emergency arise (abcess tooth) that would require me to cut my trip short by 1 day. I went to the front desk at 10:30 on my first morning (05/13/2022) and asked if it would be possible to take the last night off the reservation and get refunded the points to my Choice Privileges account. I went at this time to ensure it was over 24 hours before the last night of the reservation and to ensure they had ample notice, just in case they could have used the room for another reservation. The person front desk told me that I must call Choice privileges. When I called choice privileges they said I must have the manager approve the refund so I went back to the front desk that evening to talk to them again. At this point it was a different person at the front desk and she told me I would have to wait until the next morning to take care of it. The next morning on 05/14/2022 at 10:45, when i went to check out, I talked with the same fellow as the pervious morning and he assured me the manager would approve of the refund and that he would call me back within a couple hours. He never called me back so I called the hotel back at 04:11 pm and spoke with a different person. She said that I had not been checked out of the room that morning. She also said that she would call the manager and call me back within a few minutes. After 2 hours of waiting I decided to call Choice Privileges again and inquire about the points refund. Choice Privileges then told me that manager did not approve the refund. I travel all over and stay at Choice hotels quite a bit. I've stayed at them for approximately 100 in the past year, maybe more. I haven't had an experience with customer service this bad at any of the other stays. Also, it's not like I asked for a cash refund. It was for points and it was due to a dental emergency that was out of my control. I feel that I should have at least got a partial refund for the points because I gave over 24 hours notice that I had to leave. I also believe that I should have received better service. None of the front desk staff were of any help and the manager clearly did not care about the situation. If the manager had cared they would have spoken with me at some point during this issue. Do not stay here if you expect hospitality or any type of help from the staff.

We never got to use the pool, ducks owned it. I couldn't close my curtains so I only slept until the sun came up. Got stuck in elevator for a minute. Also being able to open a window and smoke from my room instead going down 2 stories and being chased by ducks would've been nice. But the building was very nice.

Nice hotel. Free breakfast was hot and good. Staff was very friendly. Only issues I had were the A/C in my room didn’t work very well. The only vending machines they had were cash only. Other than those two things, it was nice.

This is the second time I have stayed here after traveling back home to visit my children and grandchild. This hotel is always very clean. They do serve breakfast in the mornings with a variety of foods such as fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, yogurt etc along with coffee and juices. Pool was very clean. Exceptional customer service from the staff even though some don't speak English at all but still all very nice. Will stay here Everytime due to the cleanliness and also given the location being right off of interstate 295. There is a Wendy's right next door. Also can not get inside threw the side door without a key card in which we really liked. Have had zero problems neither time staying here. Hope this helps someone looking for a great clean place to stay.

I hate doing these type of reviews , but this place is unacceptable, first off, the place did seem clean, but to me Comfort Inn should not have these problems, This place is outdated, and got up to go the bathroom and first thing I see us roaches. Then , our curtain would not close and that took my whole nights sleep away. Breakfast was a whole issue not to comfort inn way of doing things. The woman there would not put the oil spray out, stating people did not know how to spray it so you had to tell her to spray the waffle maker, then had a gossip party going with some of the other workers there, with hardly no food to pick from. I'm so disappointed, because we have to stay 3 more days and not feel rested or comfortable. But never again nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

This hotel is badly outdated and Not Safe. The elevator moves at a snails pace and we could not locate the stairs which was concerning. Non-guests were able to come and go and our floor reaked of Marijuana the entire weekend. The only pleasant thing about this place are the ducks that greet you at the door on your way in and out. I would not recommend this location to anyone. The surrounding area is not great either and Comfort Suites should get out of the hospitality game. There are much safer places to stay downtown.

Clean comfortable bed. Clean room with excellent amenities. Great TV and WiFi. Professional service. Eggs and bacon along with waffles and bread choices. The price is too high for what is offered. I’ve gotten the same experience at other Choice hotels along with airport shuttle for lees. 1 person, 1 night should not be $100.

The water never got hot so I basically took a cold shower. I didn’t check in until midnight so I was trying to sleep in, from traveling all night the night before. I was awaken at 8:00am by someone upstairs, scraping the floor and hammering nails. Could the repairs not wait at least until checkout time or later??

Breakfast ends earlier than any other hotel I've ever been to, there's no sleeping in if you want some food. We went down at 9 am and all the food was packed up. Something they don't tell you when you check in. I'm assuming it's probably to save costs of being open longer. Hotel has lots of damage to surfaces, our couches automen had dry glue spilled all over it that looked really unsettling.

Very old building. Has been remodeled but not great. It was clean and comfortable. Location is not good. Parking is tight. Door keys didn't work. Had to change rooms. Some one came knocking on the door asking about their luggage. Apparently left in the hall and was taken by someone whille exchanging keys that also did not work.

Worst hotel ever. The only reason I gave 1 star for service was for the lady working breakfast. Rude staff on elevator does not acknowledge GM. When requesting clean towels, you must bring your soiled ones to front desk then over to laundry to be counted before 1 clean towel and washcloth will be issued for next day shower.

The room was clean and spacious. It was near the elevator as requested and was quiet. Unfortunately I discovered very early in the morning that the toilet was not working properly & when I tried to call the front desk, the room telephone wasn't working either. Just before I was ready to checkout, I was able to alert the housekeeping supervisor of the issues. Within 30 minutes there was a repair person who came to work on the plumbing.

It was the worst stay I have EVER had !! Front desk KIM was sleeping and her attitude was awful. Then the bed was nasty as in makeup on pillow plus cover. Ask front desk if they would make us some coffee in morning and she said that was not her job and the lady that was supposed to make it was late !! We will never go there again and will make sure no one we talk to will either !!!! Sorry I have never done this before but it was AWFUL !!!!
